Great job! Loved all the comedians! This is a good show, even if it was raining.
Michael Palascak was way funnier than portrayed in the show. I thought he was funny in both instances but much funnier live. I thought Andy Erikson was about on par with the show. I just enjoy her comedy. I hated Dominique on the show but think she is the funniest of the bunch while performing live! Ian Bagg performed as expected... He's just always extremely funny. Watching the show, I didn't understand how Clayton English won but after seeing him live I understand. He was definitely not the funniest but he has more charisma than anyone else.
I gave 2 tickets to my adult son, who loves comedy and enjoys watching Last Comic Standing. He loved everything about the show. It was his first event in a long time at Atlanta Symphony Hall, and he was blown away. It's a fantastic venue for any performance, and all of the seats are good seats. He said that ALL of the top five comedians who performed had great sets, and Ron White even made an unexpected appearance. The show lasted around 2-1/2 hours, so it was an entire evening's worth of entertainment.
I thought the Last Comic Standing team was funny, except for the first woman, whose voice I found exceedingly annoying. But the rest of the team was excellent!
I really enjoyed 3 out of 5, and they definitely made up for the ones that were just okay.
I WAS SO DISAPPOINTED... LAST YEAR WAS EXCELLENT.. THIS YEAR I THINK I ONLY THOUGHT ONE OR TWO THINGS WERE FUNNY.. SO DISSAPOINTING !!!. I WILL NEVER GO BACK.
The men were fantastic, the women....not so much. I really had a problem with the opening "comment/question" from Carr. The comment about if your black, mexican, asian, your in the group of black and your AGAINST whites. Hmmmm not cool or professional.
Unfortunately, while I still love the comics that participated in the tour, as an avid watcher of the tv show I was very disappointed. There was not a lot of new material. For me it was like watching a re run with a few new bits. I felt I'd seen it all before, for free! Definitely something I wouldn't spend money on again. I came out because I thought I'd see something more from comedians I liked. Conversely my date that evening hadn't followed the season and throughly enjoyed it.
This year's Last Comic Standing road show was okay but somewhat disappointing. Compared to last year's road show, this really paled in comparison. We thought that the most of the sets were weak and felt like there was not a lot of effort put into the material of most of the comics. The highlight of the evening and the best set of all 5 was done by Ian Bagg. HE WAS TERRIFIC! He had the entire house involved and laughing through his entire set. Ian was worth the price of admission. In fact, we would have rather seen Ian perform alone for a longer period of time than to have the other 4 comics share the program with him. We hope that next season's tour offers a better, stronger variety of comics. Thank you.
Such a fun show!! Ian Bagg a new personal favorite!
After watching the show this season I was a big fan of the final 5, especially Ian. Seeing the short clips on TV I found Andy to be somewhat annoying but was pleasantly surprised to really enjoy her set. Ian was really funny but tended to go on a little too long with the same subject matter with some of the audience members - interacting with the snooty unresponsive front rows a little longer than was funny was not much fun for the rest of the audience. Everything about Dominique was amazing, she is a great story teller and I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. Michael was funny, he was on first and I know he made me laugh but it was hard to remember his jokes at the end of the night. It was a good show until the winner Clayton English came on stage as the last performer. Not sure if he was sick, high or strung out but it was more of a talk than a comedy set. I think he got one good hearty laugh and the rest of the time it was a soft chuckle from a few people in the crowd. As we walked out it was obvious a lot of the audience was disappointed in his performance and wished we could have ended with a stronger, more upbeat performer. I would go see any of the other performers in another venue if I have the opportunity, but would pass on seeing Clayton.
I was dragged into going to this show. But I am so happy I went! Every comedian was so funny. I was laughing so hard. I've seen a lot of comics who are funny on TV but really unfunny live. These comedians were really funny live and I plan to see them again next time they are around.
Better than watching on TV. Went to see Rod Man who was very good but Rocky and Joe killed it.
The comics were awesome and I would go back to see them
Each and every comic on the Last Comic Standing tour was great and brought their A game. They mix in mostly new material with some of the popular material from the TV Show. Even the repeated material has been tweaked to be a little funnier. Great performances and a great variety. We were in a group of 5 and everyone had a great time but had different favorite comedians. One or two comedians had me laughing so hard I was crying. You can't beat that.
I enjoyed the venue and the comics, my fiance and I had a great time and we will come again.
All of the comics were great and Lachlan Patterson was the best! Every one of them was funny and the show flowed seamlessly. Highly recommend this show and would definitely love to see it again.
I thought they would be as funny as they were on TV competing. They weren't unfortunately! Nicki Carr was the worst of all of them with her routine, which was so disappointing because she was hilarious on the show. Rodman was funny but repeated his TV routine and I thought he would have new material. I came to see new stuff not old. I didn't need to pay to see the same stuff that was on TV again in person. The only real funny one of the night was Rocky and he came on 1st. He set the tone for the evening and it never got any funnier after that!
It was extremely clear this talented group was exhausted and it showed in their sets. Rocky was a great opening act, except for his new "clicking" thing he added to his act. Was funny the first few times but got old quickly! Lockland was funny! Joe's performance was so off his mark! Not one for "political" jokes then ended the set with a joke from the show. Nikki was the best! Yes her show was on the raunchy side, but hello, she's not on the show! She brought it to the stage and it showed she wanted to be there! Rod Man was funny but way to much material from the show. The night did have some hilariously moments!
These 5 comics were awesome on tv but they all came out complaining about how tired they were. Most acts were the Same ones from tv. The lady comic talking about eating vagina totally disgusted me. An mc would have made things more exciting rather than having one comic come up after another.
