Everyone was funny except the guy that won

by Anonymous on 1/2/11Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre - Atlanta

Of the 5 comedians, my friends and I found all of them enjoyable except Felipe Esparza (the one that actually won the contest on Last Comic Standing). I still don't understand how he won. Roy Wood Jr. and Tommy Johnagan were our favorites.

    Worth the money

by U2fan012 on 1/2/11Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre - Atlanta

The show was worth the $35. I didn't follow the series and I have no idea how Felipe won. Maybe he was having an off night, but he barely got a laugh. I was just waiting for him to be over so we could go. The Jewish guy wasn't all that funny either, but the host and others were phenomenal.

Liked all except the last guy

Not sure how the winner was chosen but he was a disappointment compared to the other comedians.

    Last Comic

by Pansyface on 1/2/11Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre - Atlanta

These guys just weren't that funny. The last performer was Mr. Esparza who was the winner of the TV show 'Last Comic'. I don't know how he won. He was actually really awful. I hardly laughed at all. That is pretty bad. People were leaving during his performance. Ok, maybe they had some place to go. But if you bought tickets, would you not stay til the end. There was only one guy that I thought was pretty good.

NBCs Last Comic Standing Tour Disgusting

by Davidas on 1/2/11Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre - Atlanta

This show was not the caliber of the advertised "NBC's Last Comic Standing" program. The comedy acts were in the league of a cheap nightclub with a $5 cover charge, not a venue like the Cobb Energy Centre at $50 tickets. The extremely crude language, topics, and racial slurs were not comedy, they were rock-bottom attempts at humor. I have already sent a letter to a Cobb Energy Centre executive voicing our dissatisfaction. The show description should have been more clear so we would not have wasted $300 and exposed our family to this trash.

    Funny but not for everyone

by comicguest on 1/2/11Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre - Atlanta

Roy Wood Jr. was very good. Not sure why he didn't win the title during the TV show. Others were ok but a lot of their jokes were not to my liking. Too vulgar and too many curse words. Not necessary.

    Last Comic Standing was good

by Lillybean2005 on 11/23/10Effingham Performance Center - Effingham

After watching this season of Last Comic Standing, I was excited to see that a live show was coming to my town. I got two tickets and took my Dad for his birthday, which happened to fall on the night of the show. Five of the top contestants performed and two of them blew us away. Roy Wood Jr and Tommy Johnagin had us fighting for air throughout their entire performances. The winner, Felipe Esparza, was good for some chuckling here and there. The two others, Myq Kaplan and Mike DeStefano, were offensive and overly vulgar. DeStefano seemed more interested in peeling the label off his water bottle (which was completely distracting) than performing. After watching these two, my Dad was ready to leave without seeing the final two performances. I convinced him to stay and he was glad. Roy Wood Jr gave three hilarious performances (he played host) and made the evening great for my Dad. Roy and Tommy had us in laughing so hard we were crying. Bottom line...these 2 outta 5 make it well worth seeing.

Out of the five comics, only three seemed to go over well with the audience.

    Mixed

by youguess on 11/15/10Effingham Performance Center - Effingham

Roy Wood, Jr and Tommy Johnagin were great, Myq Kaplan and Felipe Esparza were ok, and Mike Destefano was terrible. I would pay to see Roy Wood, Jr and Tommy Johnagin again any time, but only if their sets were longer. I would not pay to see the other 3 at all.

    Last Comic Standing

Three of the comics weren't up to par and in my opinion it wasn't worth the price of going.

    Interesting Event

by Abuehn on 11/15/10Effingham Performance Center - Effingham

Overall the event was good. There was one comedian who was so impaired it affected his performance. We watched this in a “small” town and some of the comics acted like the performance was a joke because of this reason. The content was good, some of it was used on the t.v. show and some was not appropriate given the audience demographics. The opener/host was by far the best comedian! The Southern, IL guy was also great. I would recommend to a friend.
