  • A bit pricy

by DJ on 1/3/25West Herr Auditorium Theatre at West Herr Performing Arts Center - RochesterRating: 3 out of 5

It was nice to see the movie on a big screen, but the audio was super loud! When Chevy and his wife came out, they answered quite a few questions, but he obviously did no research on where he was. The Buffalo Bills were mentioned and he had no clue. He was funny, but only answered questions that he wanted to. Merchandise was expensive and sparse.

  • A night with Chevy Chase

by Schmitty on 1/2/25West Herr Auditorium Theatre at West Herr Performing Arts Center - RochesterRating: 5 out of 5

We had an amazing evening watching Christmas vacation on big screen followed up by a short Q&A with Chevy Chase. It was the perfect way to end the holiday season. If you have an opportunity to see this event, it is definitely worth a few hours of your time.

I loved it. Brought back many memories. Nice touch with the station wagon and Christmas tree on top of the car. Chevy Chase and his Wife answered many questions. It was an amazing show!

  • Wonderful night!

by Carly on 1/1/25West Herr Auditorium Theatre at West Herr Performing Arts Center - RochesterRating: 5 out of 5

This was a wonderful experience! Getting to see Christmas Vacation in a theater was so cool, the Q&A was AWESOME! Not only did Chevy talk about Christmas Vacation he also talked about a lot of his other movies… which was really cool. His wife, Jayni, was there also and she was great cause she had a lot of cool information / facts from Chevys years of acting. We purchased the VIP & we got to do a meet & greet with Chevy afterward and it was great! Fantastic night out!

  • Christmas Vacation - Great Movie!

by Christmas Vacation Lover on 12/30/24Alabama Theatre - BirminghamRating: 5 out of 5

Christmas Vacation is my favorite Christmas movie and I never get tired of watching it. I always enjoy the experience of watching this movie on the large screen at the Alabama Theatre. It is a yearly tradition for me and my husband to go with some of our friends. From Big Bertha the pipe organ, Christmas music, singing Christmas carols, the people who dress up like characters in the movie, to the beautiful theatre itself and all the Christmas decorations, it truly is a wonderful experience. One word of advice: buy your tickets as soon as they go on sell because they will sell out quick.

  • Great Venue, Awesome Movie

by Merry Christmas on 12/23/24The Walker Theatre - ChattanoogaRating: 5 out of 5

Got to Walker Theatre, had no problem getting in. Got to 3rd floor, and Santa was there with waters, white chocolate chip cookies and candy canes! There was a concession stand with beer, wines and some other drinks (yes you had to pay for these, lol), along with candy and popcorn. The women behind the counter for the concessions were so very nice and worked fast. It was all general admission, as you can't assign seats in the Walker Theatre. You could sit downstairs or in the balcony. We chose to sit in the balcony in the front row. Perfect view! National Lampoon, Christmas Vacation is one of my husband's favorite movies and he loved seeing it on the big screen. A must see, if you can catch it again.

  • Such an entertaining way to spend a night

by LFC on 12/9/24Premier Theater at Foxwoods Resort Casino - LedyardRating: 5 out of 5

The movie was great. Even though we have seen it every year since it came out it was such fun to see it with so many people. All the funny parts (basically the entire movie) was funnier with everyone else’s laughter. The movie screen was not overwhelming. We could have sat closer and not been uncomfortable.

  • Amazing time

by Glenn on 11/25/24The Santander Performing Arts Center - ReadingRating: 4 out of 5

My wife and I had a very enjoyable evening at the show. We really liked the movie and the conversation with Chevy only made the evening better. We were both impressed with all the movie clips you had to add to the conversation. Would definitely go to something like that again.
