Comedian Nate Bargatze’s clean-cut and relatable humor is why The Atlantic called him “The Nicest Man in Stand-Up.” The Nashville, Tennessee native and host of the Nateland podcast found his voice in the mid-2000s with regular appearances on Late Night with Conan O'Brien, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Bargatze was featured on Jimmy Fallon's Clean Cut Comedy Tour in 2013, three years after he was named “New York's Funniest Stand-Up” at the New York Comedy Festival. Bargatze’s signature deadpan delivery was showcased in his 2021 Netflix special, The Greatest Average American, which earned a Grammy Award nomination for the coinciding comedy album. His 2023 Amazon Prime special Nate Bargatze: Hello World became the most-streamed original comedy special debut in Prime history — with 2.9 million viewers in its first 28 days — culminating in Bargatze breaking the attendance record for Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena.

by Susan on 4/29/24NRG Arena - HoustonNate was hysterical, as I expected he would be. His warmup acts were pretty food. The MC was really funny. Great time. Nate put on a fantastic show with mostly new material. Everyone was laughing their heads off. The only negative thing I have to say is about the venue. The stage at NRG Arena seemed to be infested with moths or flies of some sort. You could see them on the big screens and a few of the comedians were so bothered by them that they were swatting at them and mentioned how bothersome they were. Shame on NRG Arena for allowing that sort of environment.

Every line in the arena was long and took forever! They had bugs flying on stage around Nate and the other comedians!! What an embarrassment for Houston! We have so many other great venues so why NRG!!

He only had one or two jokes that I’d previously heard so the majority of the show was new material. My wife and I laughed so hard we cried. The world needs more of this kind of event. Go see Nate … it’s totally worth it.

Some of the openers were just okay. The food was very expensive. All worth it. I would see this show again. We had a great time.

I loved his type of humor - clean, funny, everyday humor that people can relate to. 😂 Then Hallelujah….his ‘Be Funny’ show came to Corpus Christi, TX and I went to see it. WOW, 5 stars plus!! The entire show was fantastic. His backup comedians and host were equally funny and awesome 😄 It was so refreshing to listen and enjoy humor that was hilarious and good clean fun, without being like a bar-room act filled with endless crude jokes, bad language and totally tasteless. Good for Nate!! I totally recommend his show and I’m hoping he will come back to Corpus Christi soon. Loved it!! Laughter is good therapy and good for the heart 💜
