Comedian Nate Bargatze’s clean-cut and relatable humor is why The Atlantic called him “The Nicest Man in Stand-Up.” The Nashville, Tennessee native and host of the Nateland podcast found his voice in the mid-2000s with regular appearances on Late Night with Conan O'Brien, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Bargatze was featured on Jimmy Fallon's Clean Cut Comedy Tour 2013, three years after he was named “New York's Funniest Stand-Up” at the New York Comedy Festival. Since then, Bargatze has been selling out arenas on solo tours and in support of comedy icons like Chris Rock. Bargatze’s signature deadpan delivery was showcased in his 2021 Netflix special, The Greatest Average American, which earned a Grammy Award nomination for the coinciding comedy album. His 2023 Amazon Prime special Nate Bargatze: Hello World became the most-streamed original comedy special debut in Prime history — with 2.9 million viewers in its first 28 days — culminating in Bargatze breaking the attendance record for Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. Bargatze hosted “Saturday Night Live” for the second time in fall 2024 and also co-produced a holiday variety special titled “Nate Bargatze’s Nashville Christmas” with Lorne Michaels. In May 2025, Bargatze published his highly-anticipated first book, Big Dumb Eyes: Stories From A Simpler Mind, which became an instant New York Times bestseller. Coming up for 2026, Bargatze will host his new comedy game show, The Greatest Average American, which premieres on February 25 on ABC and Hulu, and will star in the family-friendly comedy film, The Breadwinner, which is scheduled to be released on March 13.

Nate puts on a great show. Just has an approach and style that makes his show great. Definitely recommend anyone to go see him if he’s in a town near you.
I love his cadence and delivery. His material is so funny but it packs a one two punch with his style. There were moments where I was laughing so hard that I couldn’t breathe. He’s so relatable. Highly recommend.
I really think this was the best comedy show I've been to. No cuss words no dirty humor, yet it was still perfectly hilarious. I loved that I could take my sister to it and I knew it'd be clean. A lot of times clean comedians get a bad rep, but this is not the case. Nate is HILARIOUS! He is proof that comedy does not need to be dirty or have foul language to be funny. Don't hesitate to go see him. I couldn't stop laughing. It really is refreshing to go see a comedy show like this. The guy makes day to day life hilarious, I could relate to every joke and that's what you want in a comedian. I promise this guy will make you laugh about everything.
Not only are Nate’s punchlines hilarious, but his set ups are equally funny. Nonstop funny.
nate is even better live. completely new material. best comedy I have seen live!
Such an amazing show all together! Nate was HILARIOUS and his dad was an additional added surprise opener! Can’t wait to see him again in Vegas!
At least one huge laugh from the entire audience every minute for the entire show. Absolutely hilarious.
First time seeing Nate Bargatze in person. He is absolutely hilarious. I definitely recommend. The issue was getting in. We were seeing the 2nd show of the night. The line was long and slow entering at the HOB. The show already started before we got in and to our seats. Not organized. Also, the show was a little on the short side for the money spent.
Show was great. Nate was hilarious as always. Purchased the VIP package but never received the exclusive poster that was promised which was kind of a bummer.
This guy never disappoints! So funny! I would go see this multiple times!
Really funny stuff; I definitely recommend catching his show if you get a chance
He is hilarious! So worth the 4-hour trip to see him. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. And he's clean, which I appreciate so much. Funny without being vulgar, silly, demeaning or inappropriate. Hope I get to see him again.
Nate jokes are very down to earth and relatable. I found myself looking at my wife multiple times because we had similar experiences to the stories Nate was telling.
My husband and I took a weekend trip to see Nate Bargatze perform at the pageant in St. Louis. Nate our on an amazing show, which I had no doubt he would. He is effortlessly hilarious. The venue did a beautiful job with seating and with the meet and greet, post show. Thank you Nate and the pageant for a wonderful evening.
I was laughing so hard I was choking. Do yourself a favor and see this guy as soon as you possibly can. His two Netflix specials are great.
We drove 4 hours to see Nate in St. Louis, and he didn’t disappoint! Hilarious show! All new material! Still 100% clean. Highly recommend!
Nate Bargatze is hilarious and we had a fantastic time at his show. The venue was beautiful and felt small and intimate even though I'm pretty sure it seated a lot of people. The staff were very helpful and available and guided guests to their seats to make it a smooth entrance. Would definitely recommend both the venue and the comedian!
Love love love the Warner Theatre. It is easy to get to, an absolute breeze to get into and a totally stunning theatre to see any type of performance in. The staff were beyond nice and accommodating. The show itself was a riot. The opener was really a lot funnier than most comedy openers I have seen and Nate was absolutely hilarious. My husband and I are still smiling at how much fun we had, even days after the event.
I had a great time. I thought Nate Bargatze put on a great show.
When The age twenty-something cult-like group of fans piled into the beautiful ageless Warner Theater in DC, we were among them - a 13-year-old boy and his sixty-something grandmother! How do you find a comedian appropriate for that kind of age diversity? The only logical answer is NATE BARGATZE! His humor is both fresh and timeless, focusing in his humble flaws and the twists and turns of life. People were screaming story requests for his self-made encore. “Coffee and Cream!” “Olivia!” They were laughing before the stories hit his lips, knowing the good dun they were in for. For me it was like watching the fanfare of the Tim Allen movement. For my grandson, it was like having the beat YouTube day ever! I would recommend Nate Bagatze to anyone who has a chance to see him and wants to laugh through an entire show. I found myself trying to repeat his stories to friends and family - funny but not the same delivery :-)
