Comedian Nate Bargatze’s clean-cut and relatable humor is why The Atlantic called him “The Nicest Man in Stand-Up.” The Nashville, Tennessee native and host of the Nateland podcast found his voice in the mid-2000s with regular appearances on Late Night with Conan O'Brien, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Bargatze was featured on Jimmy Fallon's Clean Cut Comedy Tour 2013, three years after he was named “New York's Funniest Stand-Up” at the New York Comedy Festival. Since then, Bargatze has been selling out arenas on solo tours and in support of comedy icons like Chris Rock. Bargatze’s signature deadpan delivery was showcased in his 2021 Netflix special, The Greatest Average American, which earned a Grammy Award nomination for the coinciding comedy album. His 2023 Amazon Prime special Nate Bargatze: Hello World became the most-streamed original comedy special debut in Prime history — with 2.9 million viewers in its first 28 days — culminating in Bargatze breaking the attendance record for Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. Bargatze hosted “Saturday Night Live” for the second time in fall 2024 and also co-produced a holiday variety special titled “Nate Bargatze’s Nashville Christmas” with Lorne Michaels. In May 2025, Bargatze published his highly-anticipated first book, Big Dumb Eyes: Stories From A Simpler Mind, which became an instant New York Times bestseller. Coming up for 2026, Bargatze will host his new comedy game show, The Greatest Average American, which premieres on February 25 on ABC and Hulu, and will star in the family-friendly comedy film, The Breadwinner, which is scheduled to be released on March 13.

There is something very refreshing about a comedian who is not angry, mean spirited or foul mouthed and can distill genuine good natured humor from everyday events and relationships. I have seen Nate 3 times live. Each show was great and better than the last. I laughed so hard at this show that my stomach actually hurt. I highly recommend this show for the whole family.
It makes for an enjoyable experience knowing you can laugh at an amazing comedian without needing to be cursed at! Just started watching Nate Bargatze videos on YouTube & he quickly became our favorite! Was super-excited to hear he was coming to our town! Thanks Nate. Your delivery & timing are awesome!
My family had a fantastic time at this event! Nate Bargatze made us laugh so much! We are thankful for his comedy, especially during these crazy times. Thanks for the laughter!
We purchased our tickets in July anxiously waiting for Nate’s scheduled show. After the obligatory “pandemic scheduling shift” and watching his Netflix specials for the umpteenth time, the night finally arrived. And man, did Nate deliver! My wife and I laughed hysterically throughout the 45 minute set of BRAND NEW MATERIAL! He was hilarious! We’ve seen a lot of comedians in the past few years. NONE could hold a candle to the effortless, timely and absolutely relatable commentary Nate provides. He’s well on his way to being acknowledged as a comedy genius. We can’t tell enough people about him. If you haven’t seen one of his specials, heard his podcast or have seen him live, you’re missing a real star in the making. Can’t wait for his next Netflix special!
Wonderful show! Nate had wonderful new material and great delivery, as always.
Mr. Bargatze absolutely murdered his set and had the theatre cracking up from start to finish. He left to a standing ovation and we can't wait to go see him again.
Bought front row center stage tickets as a gift since my wife is more of the comedian fan. All 3 comedians were funny. I didn’t realize there was a slight sound issue in the beginning since I was up front. Issue fixed, comedian made the place explode in laughter with a joke on the situation and the rest of the event continued to be awesome. Hotels, food and bars nearby. Would definitely like to see Nate again and would see future events at the Saenger in Mobile.
Nate blew it out of the water again! Can’t wait to see it come out in a special so we can all do you live all the hilarious topics
Very funny and clean comedy. I really enjoyed it and so did son and husband. Worth it to see him.
Everything I hoped for & more! I took all ages with me- 21, 17, 13 (I will not disclose my age but you can add a couple of those together :)). We ALL laughed so hard my face & ribs ached! So glad we heard he would be in our area, a much needed night of laughter.
Nate was everything I had hoped he would be-- exactly the person you are expecting: down to earth, disarming, comfortable, and feels like "the funny friend" that keeps everything in perspective when times are tough. The venue was beautiful, and it was easy to see and hear Nate and both of his openers, who were also fantastic. Well worth waiting 2 years. Would have loved another hour worth of material.
All new content and it was a solid show. It was great to see an all-new show. Those are usually not as polished as the "tv specials." This was an exception. This certainly was a TV-quality set. 10/10
We have loved Nate Bargatze for years. It was a thrill to see him live! Non-stop laughter!
Only draw back was the audio was messed up at first. Nate was great. The people he brought were funny also.
Great show! Clean & entertaining. We will go again on the next tour
new material, funny, clean, topical. Great night out. Venue was also very nice
Nate and two opening acts very funny. All new material. Crowd totally into the 9:30 p.m. show (2200 in attendance). The VIP Experience was excellent also as Nate took the time to talk to each guests, sign what you wanted, take photos on your phone, and provide a gift. In our case it was a set of refrigerator magnets (4 of them). This is second time I’ve done the VIP experience and I would say it is worth it, esp. sitting on second row, dead middle!
I have enjoyed two shows with Nate! Always brilliant, hearty laughing and original material through Nate’s eyes. His tale of playing a round of golf with his wife is priceless. And I do not play golf but I enjoy a good laugh!
Great show. Enjoyed the warm up acts as well. Catch Nate if you can. Run, fly or parachute to a show near you.
