Comedian Nate Bargatze’s clean-cut and relatable humor is why The Atlantic called him “The Nicest Man in Stand-Up.” The Nashville, Tennessee native and host of the Nateland podcast found his voice in the mid-2000s with regular appearances on Late Night with Conan O'Brien, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Bargatze was featured on Jimmy Fallon's Clean Cut Comedy Tour in 2013, three years after he was named “New York's Funniest Stand-Up” at the New York Comedy Festival. Since then, Bargatze has been selling out arenas on solo tours and has opened for comedy icons like Chris Rock. Bargatze’s signature deadpan delivery was showcased in his 2021 Netflix special, The Greatest Average American, which earned a Grammy Award nomination for the coinciding comedy album. His 2023 Amazon Prime special Nate Bargatze: Hello World became the most-streamed original comedy special debut in Prime history — with 2.9 million viewers in its first 28 days — culminating in Bargatze breaking the attendance record for Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena.

Nate is so funny, it was fun and we really enjoyed the show. The Embassy is beautiful and comfortable. Wish so many people wouldn't have kept getting up to go to the bathroom, but what can you do!? Thank you!
Such a good show! Nate is hilarious and we were laughing the entire time! Very fun evening!
What a FUN night! Nate is adorably hilarious in his delivery of everyday experiences and observations. His gig on Stand-ups (Netflix) is just a taste of his humor. Trying to catch the show again in a nearby state! Congrats, Nate!
Easy entrance into the theatre with convenient mobile ticket entry. Friendly and thorough security team ensuring the safety of everyone as they entered the theatre. Friendly theatre workers assisting us to find our seat locations. Talented bar tenders making drinks and popcorn for us to enjoy throughout the show. Seats on the mezzanine were incredible and felt like we were in the front row. Nate Bargatze was an incredible comedian and put on a great show with a throw-back encore for the audience. We will definitely attend more shows at the Kalamazoo State Theatre, especially if Nate is the headliner.
Had a great time with friends, great seats in front row. If you think his Netflix specials are hilarious he’s even better in person. Very kind at the meet and greet too.
This was by far the best comedy show I have attended. Nate is a comedic genius and he had us laughing so hard our bodies hurt. Loved it!
Kalamazoo show was terrific!! Laughed alot. Will look forward to seeing him again at some point! Well worth the time!!
We had such a great time at Genesee Theatre seeing Nate Bargatze! My cheeks hurt after a while because I was laughing so hard, so often! We would love to see him again some time. This was definitely one of the greatest comedy shows we've seen and highly recommend to others!!
Nate was incredible. My husband and I laughed the entire time. Couldn’t ask for a better date night.
Good experience. Brought the kids. Didn’t regret it. 75% new material, just as good as the golden oldies. Did a couple oldies too. Just as funny as the first time.
Awesome! Over an hour of brand new stuff and about 15 minutes of favorites! Great, great show!
My wife and I got tickets to see Nate after seeing him on YouTube. We had never been to a live comedy event, and didn't know if we'd enjoy it live. Wow, did this surpass our expectations! His new material was hilarious. We had a blast and laughed straight through for well over an hour. Nate knows how to capture the crowd and take you on his comedy journey. Such an amazing show. Highly recommended
Really loved the new material and the retelling of the old stuff during the “encore”. Had a great time
This show was hilarious!! We splurged and got orchestra tickets...so worth it!!
i honestly laughed throughout the entire show, so much my face hurt from laughing so much! Nate is the type of person you just want to hang out with, heck share have a bbq to remind you and/or to find the funny in your life.
Nate is appealing to the masses because of his ability to story-tell in a way that is hilarious without the need for profanity (and I do not mind profanity, I just noticed he doesn't use it). So hilarious! Laughing throughout the whole show! Friend that accompanied me is now a HUGE fan! One of the best comedians because he KEEPS you laughing the ENTIRE time. No downtime--he's perfected his craft! BRAVO! I was also pleasantly surprised that it was all new material I hadn't yet heard!
I loved this show We left with our faces hurting from laughing so hard. Perfect for the whole family
The whole show was enjoyable. I was laughing continuously. I’d definitely go again.
Nate did not disappoint. My face was sore from laughing by the end of the night. My favorite comedian by far. If you have the chance to see him in person, do it!
