Comedian Nate Bargatze’s clean-cut and relatable humor is why The Atlantic called him “The Nicest Man in Stand-Up.” The Nashville, Tennessee native and host of the Nateland podcast found his voice in the mid-2000s with regular appearances on Late Night with Conan O'Brien, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Bargatze was featured on Jimmy Fallon's Clean Cut Comedy Tour in 2013, three years after he was named “New York's Funniest Stand-Up” at the New York Comedy Festival. Since then, Bargatze has been selling out arenas on solo tours and has opened for comedy icons like Chris Rock. Bargatze’s signature deadpan delivery was showcased in his 2021 Netflix special, The Greatest Average American, which earned a Grammy Award nomination for the coinciding comedy album. His 2023 Amazon Prime special Nate Bargatze: Hello World became the most-streamed original comedy special debut in Prime history — with 2.9 million viewers in its first 28 days — culminating in Bargatze breaking the attendance record for Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena.

He was hilarious as expected. All new material and we were crying from laughing so hard. I hope he never stops doing comedy. Just the best.
Nate was fantastic—will definitely go see him again. The people coming in after the performance had started was irritating. However, the ushers walking the aisles during the performance was unreal. They went back and forth twice to make sure people had their masks on. The headliner is up their for one hour—it was distracting and unnecessary.
If you are asking the question about whether you should go see Nate Bargatze’s The Raincheck tour, then the answer is yes. Nate is at his A game on this tour, and not a single joke of his falls flat. You will be laughing the whole way through. Also, shoutout to the two openers: Gary Vider and Justin Smith.
I'm very biased, but this is the best live stand up I've seen yet. Just wish the state theater had a real bar. Also keep the workers out of the isles during the show I missed two of Nate's jokes because some woman was whisper yelling at a guy to put his mask up between drinks. She even went into the isle putting her butt near patron's faces. Poor judgement.
Just straight up hilarious bits about being human.
From purchasing the ticket to walking out at the end, excellent experience. Purchasing the ticket was easy, easy to access on my phone, safety protocols were easy to follow and made me feel safe, and Nate was hilarious! Everything was on time and it was a very enjoyable experience. I would definitely see Nate again and definitely go to the State Theater again.
The two warm up comedians were very funny with their short routines and then his dad came out and was absolutely hilarious and adorable. We started laughing from the start of the show and didn't stop until Nate walked off the stage at the end of the show. So funny and completely clean. The show was amazing.
A big surprise that Nate's Dad opened the show. He's not only a talented magician but very funny! I"ve seen of Nate's shows on Netflix and rhis was the best!
Nate was solid from start to finish - all new material and all of it was great! What a treat to see his dad open - truly heart-warming, hilarious and wonderful. It was worth leaving the house and braving the germs for! Big laughs!
We laughed so hard all night. Every bit was new and hilarious! At the Nashville show we had the treat of an opening act from Nate's dad. I now know Nate gets his sense of humor.
Nate Bargatze is one of only a few comedians today that can make you belly laugh without using profanity. I don't mind some profanity but I'm pleasantly surprised when I enjoy a comedy show as much as I did watching Nate do his clean material and have me laughing hysterically. I loved seeing him at the Opry House because it's one of the few venues that don't require a covid test or vaccine card to attend. If they did require it we'd definitely pass on a performance even if we really wanted to see them.
The entire show was fantastic. Everything from Nate’s friends and especially his father opening for him, as well as the amazing venue and lack of mask mandates or other cosmetic theatre was a breathe of fresh air. Nate’s unique perspective on life coupled with his ability to find the humor in all aspects of life without having to resort to crude language is refreshing.
Amazing performance from all acts involved. We never stopped laughing!
Nate is so clever and never ceases to turn out a gut busting hour! Love that his comedy is clean and his delivery so dry. AmaZing show and will go see him every tour.
Wonderful show and experience. Besides the super tight fit and inability to move my legs (ha), I could have listened to him for hours. All comedians were so funny. LOVED the special performance from his Dad. The night was great.
I have seen Pryor. I have seen Cosby. Norm, Chris Rock, Robin, Kathleen, Leno, Seinfeld, Gaffigan, Kevin, Regan and on and on. I love comedy. As I have gotten a little older (about to turn 60), I have learned to appreciate comedians that can be funny without using profanity. Nate belongs in the top 10 of all time. I would rank him #1.
Really fun show for the whole family and extremely funny, Nate’s dad was a surprise hit
Ticketing was easy finding our seats simple - got some drinks (expensive) the show started Aaron Weber killed- the next guy meh- Nate’s Dad- omg side splitting. Then Nate came out with a fantastic set. Everything was fantastic.
Nate was hilarious as always! All completely new material and so relatable. His clean comedy is family friendly and one of the funniest comedians out there! Great show and highly recommend seeing him if you get the chance.
Not only was Nate hilarious but his two warm up comedians AND his DAD were great too! Love that it is an impeccably clean which is so rare for comedians. Just proves you CAN be clean and funny…thank you so much for that!
