Nashville Predators History
The Predators joined the NHL in 1998 during a two-year expansion that saw the League add the Atlanta Thrashers, Columbus Blue Jackets and Minnesota Wild. The team made its first trip to the Playoffs during the 2003-04 season, and proceeded to make the postseason six of the next seven seasons. Nashville won its first Playoff series against the Anaheim Ducks in 2011, and returned to the second round again the following spring.
Two seasons later, with Peter Laviolette as Head Coach, Nashville began their four-year run as a Stanley Cup contender. With P.K. Subban arriving ahead of the 2016-17 season to anchor the defense, the Preds upset the Chicago Blackhawks, St. Louis Blues and Anaheim Ducks in consecutive Playoff series to reach the 2017 Stanley Cup Final. That streak had two distinctions: It was the first time a No. 8 seed knocked out a top seed (the Blackhawks) and the Predators became the first team in two decades to win 10 consecutive home Playoff games.
Facing the Pittsburgh Penguins in the Stanley Cup Final, the Preds lost the first two games before storming back to take Games 3 and 4. After a decisive Pittsburgh home victory, the Penguins prevailed 2-0 in Game 6, with both goals coming in the final two minutes.
Filip Forsberg, who re-signed with the team for eight seasons in July 2022, is the Predators all-time leading scorer. Roman Josi, Pekka Rinne, Mike Fisher and Steve Sullivan have all won NHL awards, while Josi, Rinne and former captain Shea Weber have the distinction of being NHL First-Team All-Stars for the club. The Nashville Predators have made the Playoffs 15 times in their 24 seasons.

Nashville Predators at Bridgestone Arena
Located in downtown Nashville, Bridgestone Arena opened in 1996, and has been home to the Nashville Predators since the franchise was established in 1998. Since opening, Bridgestone Arena has played host to the NHL All-Star Game in 2016, and Games 3, 4 and 6 of the 2017 Stanley Cup Final.

I love the Predators games! I go as much as I can afford it! They are so much fun and interactive! There are so many things that are my favorite. My most, all-time favorite is the "kiss cam" and at the last game there weren't many people there so that allowed more room for people to be silly. It was fun and entertaining!!!!
Great event . The Predators do a great job maintaining a family atmosphere and delivering a very entertaining sporting event. The crowd was entergized and excited. The ticket promotion offer enabled many to attend that couldn't afford the reagular tickets otherwise. I thought that was a great promotional gesture from the Predators and the ease of Ticket Master was a breeze. We provided tickets for several others. Good game. I love it when the game gets down to the wire and we win. Although this was a pre-season game, it still had the suspense. The Blue Jackets came looking for a fight and Tootoo was up for it.
Love the entire event. I brought my daughter, son and his girlfriend. The girlfriend had never been to a hockey game and did not know too much about sports in general. She had as great a time as the rest of us. It is so easy to catch the fantastic fever of the game. We had top level seats but saw everything clearly. It has a hidden plus because we did not get cold either. We will definately make this a new family event to enjoy and bring us closer as a family. Thank you so much for the Fang - Tastic Time
Nashville Preds vs. Atlanta Thrashers was awesome! Hockey is a terrific sport to see in person. Ordering tickets online with Ticketmaster was so easy!! Would recommend it to anyone!!
Hockey live vs Hockey on tv. There is no comparision. It is the first hockey experience and it will not be the last. IT WAS AWESOME!!! Get tickets and go.
Predators looked great! Seating area was great. The cheeseburge taste aweful.
Had a great time with 3 friends, Club level seats. For a preseason game it was entertaining and my friends, who are not hockey fans, really had a good time.
Great to see the young guys playing hard last night. Loved the game and brought four other first timers to the game and they are hooked on the Pred's.
Wow...now if we can keep that goal scoring at a good average...Stanley Cup here we come :)

Preds looked amazing. Our seats were right behind the penalty box, so we were in the middle of all the nonstop action. It's gonna be a great season!!
The seats were excellent. They were also free which helped. The game was exciting because the Preds won in a rout. Service was cordial.
It was preseason so i didnt expect too much. Their play was on point. The guys looking to make the roster played hard and looked good.

I signed up for the all you can eat section and was very disappointed with the administration for denying fans of that. I don't care if they gave away jerseys to everyone there. if there is a section where there is free beer or free food people pay money to have those luxuries.
I was surprised by how exciting the atmosphere was for a preseason game. The arena was pretty full and the crowd was great. Also, helps that the Preds played well and easily won the game. We can receive free frosties from Wendy's because they scored 5 goals. Service was good and the staff were very friendly.
