Beautiful, colorful and well choreographed! The show gets better each year!
The musical and dance performances were riveting. Such athleticism was displayed. I will definitely return next year.
We saw the Lunar New Year celebration performance in Queens. Great experience overall! The choreography is a wonderful blend of traditional Chinese and modern dance concepts. All of the performers did a fantastic job! The show is good for all ages and the audience participation bit was a nice touch. Will definitely keep an eye out for the Nai-Ni Chen Dance Company performances in the future.
The performance was at the Kupferberg Center, Queens this past Sunday, far from where I live but it was worth it. The dancing, choreography, music and costumes were amazing. Bravo to Nai-Ni Chen Dance Company all the dancers and the two female musicians were just amazing. Thank you for this wonderful show and at such an affordable price.
I wanted to take my elderly Chinese mother and my nieces and nephew to a special event to celebrate Chinese New Year. This was a perfect show with a great older gentleman performer, and a mix of young and older dancers. Plus the 2 women who played the Chinese musical instruments were extraordinary. My family had a great time and I was glad to do something celebratory for the occasion!
The energy, the dragon, everything came together to create a lovely viewing experience.
Very entertaining show. Lots of dance action. Lots of good looking dancers. I would definitely see more of this talented group.
Really really nice mix of cultures in the dance sequences…culturally and racially diverse mix of dancers…loved the solo dancer… Really great performance…will follow this troupe at other venues…
I would not have brought the seats if I had known that the view of the stage would be blocked. There were 5 camera equipments set up on tripods in which 3 of them were blocking our view. I had asked the people if they can move it or if they can sit down. One camera was moved, I switched seats with one of my children so that he can see better. Both of my children were uncomfortable because they have to tilt their heads to see the stage. I did not see much of the show/dancers unless they were on the right side of the stage (according to my view). Going forward, if the view will be blocked fully/partially, seats should not be sold.
