This show was amazing. I didn't really know the first two bands but it was worth the wait for My Chemical Romance. They really know how to put on a show! The band sounded great and Gerard's voice was incredible as always.

About
My Chemical Romance are a rock band composed of lead vocalist Gerard Way, bassist Mikey Way and guitarists Ray Toro and Frank Iero. Formed in 2001 in New Jersey, MCR have become highly influential for their blend of rock, pop-punk and emo music along with unflinchingly open lyrics and theatrical live performances. Beginning with 2002’s I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love, MCR have released four studio albums, two live recordings and three compilations. The band unveiled their major label debut, Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge, in 2004 behind their first charting singles, “I'm Not Okay (I Promise),” “Helena” and “The Ghost of You.” In 2006, MCR’s third album The Black Parade reached a career-high No. 2 on the Billboard 200, while lead single “Welcome to the Black Parade” peaked at No. 9 on the Hot 100. After touring 2010’s Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, MCR did not perform together again until 2019, followed by a reunion world tour between 2022 and 2023. The band headlined Las Vegas’ When We Were Young Festival in 2024. In 2025, My Chemical Romance embarked on a tour in celebration of the 20th anniversary of their landmark third studio album, The Black Parade.

My daughter loves MCR
by MotherOfaTeenager on 4/16/11Val Air Ballroom - West Des MoinesRating: 5 out of 5The Val Air Ballroom was borderline dangerous! There were WAY too many people packed in there! It would have been a total disaster if immediate evacuation was needed. People would have been trampled and killed. Too bad they choose to sell so many tickets just to pack the place. Security would not allow pictures with the band after the show, but my daughter was delighted to meet the band. She regrets not having a picture as a keepsake.

Best show I've ever been to. Extremely chaotic and packed crowd. Waited in line for 2 hours before doors opened, and still was nowhere near the front. The band came out afterwards to sign things. It was amazing. Can't wait until they come back.
Very fun show... Exactly what I expected
by pirategirl27 on 4/16/11Eagles Club/The Rave/Eagles Ballroom - MilwaukeeRating: 3 out of 5I had to laugh every time I told a friend 'Oh yeah, I got tickets for the MCR show next week!' I bought them on some crazy, wistful-of-my-youth, spur-of-the-moment decision. The show satisfied all my madness, but definitely wasn't anything surprising or even particularly great. The opening band, Neon Trees, was rather upbeat and really got the crowd going. MCR just played to its fans-- and was highly successful at doing so.
This was AWESOME
by sf4uni on 4/16/11Val Air Ballroom - West Des MoinesRating: 5 out of 5This was a great show :) There was never a dull moment during the entire show. Even though it was hotter than all get out, the performers made the crowd come alive. From start to finish, this was a fantastic show, which the crowd loved. Overall, a must see for anyone who loves punk, Neon Trees, or My Chemical Romance. :)
MCR was incredible
by HDBADINFLUENCE on 4/16/11Eagles Club/The Rave/Eagles Ballroom - MilwaukeeRating: 5 out of 5My Chemical Romance put on an amazing performance. They had the crowd going from the opening song to the very last note they sung. The wide variety of ages in the crowd is a testimony that these guys know how to captivate and please their followers. Can't wait to see them again.
MCR is highly talented and very entertaining
by jawlaw on 4/16/11First Avenue - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5The blend of MCR's new and previous mix was great. The show was worth everything and more. This is the 1st time I've seen them live and was not at all dissapointed. All the guys were great -- and seeing them live I noticed they are more talented than when you hear them on recording. I definitely recommend seeing them -- would go again -- they lift you right up and make you feel great. No let downs throughout the show -- Great work guys!!!
My Chem!!!~
by pettylove on 4/16/11Eagles Club/The Rave/Eagles Ballroom - MilwaukeeRating: 5 out of 5Loved it!! It was, unfortunately, my first time seeing them. The only song I really really really wanted to hear was Helena and they played it! And the friends I was with who saw them several times before said they've never heard them play that, so I didn't think it'd happen. Woo hooo!!!
My Chemical Romance ROCKED THE HOUSE
by beachbro on 4/16/11Eagles Club/The Rave/Eagles Ballroom - MilwaukeeRating: 5 out of 5I have been to see these guys 3 times, in Chicago, in Toronto and now in Milwaukee. I love MCR! I only wish that they (the band) would have come out and greeted the die hard fans who always wait outside (usually at the wrong place) Just as an FYI, I am 55 years old and have attended these concerts every time with my daughter, who got me interested in this band. She, is 19 and has been following them since 13 and probably earlier, which is when I got involved. She wanted to go see them, Dad went with and has been a huge fan ever since. THIS show, however, was the best. I don't know what MCR thought of Milwaukee, but these guys, the small crowd that was there, was in to the band, the music and the lyrics. They knew and they were singing. It was the best concert my daughter & I ever attended. Thank you!
best night of my life!

This show was absolutely awesome! Loved it. MCR rocks!
SPEECHLESS!!
by kuhll96 on 4/15/11Eagles Club/The Rave/Eagles Ballroom - MilwaukeeRating: 5 out of 5The concert was completely AMAZING! Neon Trees was the best opening band I have ever seen!! Frontman Tyler had so much fun with the crowd that it was just awesome! My Chemical Romance was of course the most amazing band I have ever seen live! I loved their choice of encore songs the most :] The crowd was also extremely fun to be a part of! Everyone was really nice and I wouldn't mind having my insides crushed by those people again (which is a good thing!). Overall the concert was beyond amazing and I would do it all over again if I could!!
My Chemical Romance was incredible!!!
by SINGitforJapan on 4/15/11Eagles Club/The Rave/Eagles Ballroom - MilwaukeeRating: 5 out of 5I actually got backstage passes, so the experiance was absolutely amazing. Meeting the band was awesome, they were all super nice, especially Frank Iero. He never stopped smiling. The show was super cool! Gerard hit every note right on key, and all of the songs sounded exactly like they do on the CD's. So, the band was excellent. The only problem was the crowd, but there's nothing anyone can do about 400 people pushing eachother around. I was just happy I got to see MCR. Everyone should have an experiance like this, once, if not more. It was definitely one of the best nights of my life.
MCR!
by Shampoo22 on 4/15/11Eagles Club/The Rave/Eagles Ballroom - MilwaukeeRating: 5 out of 5This concert literally rocked my shoes off my feet. I lost my left shoe twice!! Although the fans were a little rowdy, the music was exemplary. I made a few new friends while I was body surfing. Yeah, we did that. Gerard congratulated the fans more than once for picking fellow fans up and helping each other out when we fell. I would go see them again and again if I could.
MCR=Amazing
by MK52 on 4/15/11Eagles Club/The Rave/Eagles Ballroom - MilwaukeeRating: 5 out of 5It was amazing! I'm not even that big of an MCR fan but the energy that the band brought and the atmosphere of the others in attenedence made the event unforgettable!! Also MCR has so much confidence that they know they are going to put on a good show but you don't really care because you are enjoying yourself so much.
