About

My Chemical Romance are a rock band composed of lead vocalist Gerard Way, bassist Mikey Way and guitarists Ray Toro and Frank Iero. Formed in 2001 in New Jersey, MCR have become highly influential for their blend of rock, pop-punk and emo music along with unflinchingly open lyrics and theatrical live performances. Beginning with 2002’s I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love, MCR have released four studio albums, two live recordings and three compilations. The band unveiled their major label debut, Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge, in 2004 behind their first charting singles, “I'm Not Okay (I Promise),” “Helena” and “The Ghost of You.” In 2006, MCR’s third album The Black Parade reached a career-high No. 2 on the Billboard 200, while lead single “Welcome to the Black Parade” peaked at No. 9 on the Hot 100. After touring 2010’s Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, MCR did not perform together again until 2019, followed by a reunion world tour between 2022 and 2023. The band headlined Las Vegas’ When We Were Young Festival in 2024. In 2025, My Chemical Romance embarked on a tour in celebration of the 20th anniversary of their landmark third studio album, The Black Parade.

MCR put on a wonderful show! We were thrilled to be there and we were not disappointed. Everything went smooth as butter!

  • Daughters first concert

    by Wickedwife989 on 8/26/22Bridgestone Arena - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

This was my daughters first concert. We drove 2 and 1/2 hours to see MCR. My daughter now has a new favorite band, Dilly Dally. All of the performances were great. MCR exceeded all of my expirations. The best concert I have ever been to. The only complaint I have is that I purchased my tickets 2 months before the concert and there were no seats available on the lower decks. But when we arrived. I checked and there was plenty of seats, and the tickets were the same as the ones I got. But better view. I guess I will wait till the day of a concert to order tickets. Even with having to use the screen to see the concert. I will still say that it was a great concert because of MCR.

  • Literally the best

  • Dream Come True

by Charlie on 8/26/22Bridgestone Arena - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

I bought these tickets to go to the concert with my best friend because this had been a dream of ours for a long time. Every penny was worth it— it’s a memory we’ll never forget ever.

My Chemical Romance rocked the house down. The concert was beyond incredible.

  • Great show

by Stormrider on 8/26/22Bridgestone Arena - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

I wasn’t really impressed with the opening bands but my chemical romance did a excellent show. This show was well worth the wait !! Gerard way wore a cheerleader outfit and it really set off the atmosphere ! GREAT JOB GUYS !!

  • Incredible Show!!

by Cdb on 8/26/22Bridgestone Arena - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

This was such an incredible show and well worth the wait for the band’s reunion. The energy between the band and the crowd was fantastic and I’d highly recommend anyone to see one of their shows this tour

  • Amazing concert!

by Chris on 8/26/22Bridgestone Arena - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

I went with my daughter and it was amazing to share the experience with her. She is a huge fan of MCR and it did not disappoint! These guys are on point and sounded amazing!

Fantastic show. Venue was great. MCR is great live and Gerard Way is magical.

  • Amazing evening.

by Sam on 8/26/22Bridgestone Arena - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Been a fan of MCR since early 2000s & this was a dream show. Originally located in the 300 section, but upgraded to 100s. One of the best nights and shows of my life, and I frequently go to concerts. Hope they tour again after this run, because I absolutely will see them. Bridgestone was clean and easy to get into as always!

  • MCR

by Skid on 8/26/22Bridgestone Arena - NashvilleRating: 4 out of 5

The Bridgestone area is a very nice venue, staff was nice and overall good experience. The opening acts were a little weak, I guess that’s why they are opening acts. Occasionally you can discover a hidden gem though. My chemical romance was very good. I thought they could have played a few more of their bigger songs. I have been going to rock concerts since 1973, this one would fall somewhere in the middle for me.

  • MCR 💕

by Corpse on 8/26/22Bridgestone Arena - NashvilleRating: 4 out of 5

The show itself was absolutely amazing, however, Bridgestone needs to do a better job of accommodating seating for bigger people. And consider adding chairs with movable armrests/cup holders

  • Not worth price or time

by Jmouseketeer on 8/26/22Bridgestone Arena - NashvilleRating: 3 out of 5

Drove 13 hours roundtrip for a show with zero personality or theatricality. 10 years no tours you'd think they would put on a show. They sounded good for sure but it was a glorified local band style performance. $200 for a ticket, $250 in gas, $26 for parking. Got home from show at 5am and worked at 8am. It just wasn't worth it.

  • Literally everything I've been waiting for

by Cameron on 8/26/22Bridgestone Arena - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Gerard coming onstage in a cheerleader outfit and singing give em hell kid? Need I say more? The live debut for the world is ugly was also a highlight

  • Amazing

by Micah on 8/26/22Bridgestone Arena - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Absolutely incredible experience. Would go to a thousand more MCR shows if possible

  • Amazing show

by KD on 8/26/22Bridgestone Arena - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Absolutely worth the wait! What a phenomenal show! MCR are better now than ever. Music and vocals ridiculously strong with the added bonus of Gerard Way in a cheer uniform!

  • It was nostalgic. That’s all.

    by Lauren R on 8/26/22Bridgestone Arena - NashvilleRating: 3 out of 5

The sound was really bad. The vocals were not wonderful, it was a good experience taking me back to the 2000’s punk days but would not so again. It stinks 😭

  • Wow!

by Mm on 8/26/22Bridgestone Arena - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

By far one of the best shows I have ever been to. The energy was electric.

  • MCR Nashville

    by Trek27 on 8/26/22Bridgestone Arena - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

The concert was amazing. MCR was great and was probably my favorite concert I've been to.

  • AMAZING

by Mike on 8/26/22Bridgestone Arena - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

This was my first ever concert and it was the best night of my life!! I’ve been a fan since I was 13 and it was an absolute dream come true to be able to see them in person
