About

My Chemical Romance are a rock band composed of lead vocalist Gerard Way, bassist Mikey Way and guitarists Ray Toro and Frank Iero. Formed in 2001 in New Jersey, MCR have become highly influential for their blend of rock, pop-punk and emo music along with unflinchingly open lyrics and theatrical live performances. Beginning with 2002’s I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love, MCR have released four studio albums, two live recordings and three compilations. The band unveiled their major label debut, Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge, in 2004 behind their first charting singles, “I'm Not Okay (I Promise),” “Helena” and “The Ghost of You.” In 2006, MCR’s third album The Black Parade reached a career-high No. 2 on the Billboard 200, while lead single “Welcome to the Black Parade” peaked at No. 9 on the Hot 100. After touring 2010’s Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, MCR did not perform together again until 2019, followed by a reunion world tour between 2022 and 2023. The band headlined Las Vegas’ When We Were Young Festival in 2024. In 2025, My Chemical Romance embarked on a tour in celebration of the 20th anniversary of their landmark third studio album, The Black Parade.

  • Lower seats very far away

by Josh on 8/26/22Bridgestone Arena - NashvilleRating: 3 out of 5

Bought tickets in section lower 102. The seat were extremely far away from the main stage, sound was not perfectly crystal clear, sounded mumbled up most of the time. Staff is great at the event.

  • Dream come true

by Keytarcody on 8/26/22Bridgestone Arena - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

This has been a moment my entire life has been leading up to. My chemical Romance was my first favorite band, the day I found then was the day I discovered what modern music could be. Flash forward to this week me and my 13 year old daughter got to experience one of our favorites bands together

  • Best night ever!!

by Vicki on 8/26/22Bridgestone Arena - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Just simplest amazing, me and all of my friends had the most amazing experience of our lives, we want more!!! Must see, over and over and over again!!

  • Great music average stage show.

by Dindae on 8/26/22Bridgestone Arena - NashvilleRating: 4 out of 5

The music was great and the show was high energy. The only disappointment was there wasn’t much of a stage show. This isn’t uncommon but I thought they would be more dramatic for a static back drop. There wasn’t even a video to play in the background.

  • Awesome Show

    by Vanessa94 on 8/26/22Bridgestone Arena - NashvilleRating: 4 out of 5

My Chemical Romance was great all around. The only complaints I would have would be the fact that staff was condescending at times and trying to ask a question about parking at Nissan Stadium the staff members were rude. There weren’t too many people to help find seats on the 200-level. Otherwise, the show was great! The sound could’ve been better but glad I got to finally see MCR.

  • Very good, but improvements

    by B dawg on 8/26/22Bridgestone Arena - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

MCR still has it, even after all these years. However, the sound was off. I know that MCR is very instrument heavy, but I feel like the sound could’ve been better. Gerard felt very washed out for the first half of the concert. I could barely hear him over the instruments. Even after his vocals got evenly distributed, sound was still wonky. Sound projection in the arena needs to improve, because watching my friends videos and other videos online showed that the sound was better if you were to the side of the stage (I’m guessing because of where the overhead speakers are). For reference, I was on the 100 level and at -60 degree angle from the stage.

  • Absolutely Awesome !!

by Sunny on 8/26/22Bridgestone Arena - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Honestly cannot say enough good things about the concert!! MCR and the opening bands put on an AMAZING show and I enjoyed every second of it! Well worth the wait! The event venue was well-maintained and overall I felt pretty safe. If I were to give any negative feedback, it would be that the entrances and lines were not well-marked and there didn't seem to be much communication between those outside the building and the employees actually scanning the tickets. My friend and I were turned away multiple times after passing security and going to have our tickets scanned because we were--apparently--at the wrong entrance?? I really wish that information had been communicated clearly either at the venue or before the show via email. The employees overall were kind and helpful, even if some of them weren't all on the same page. Anyway, using the tickets themselves wasn't difficult and despite the difficulties, I would do this show again in a heartbeat! 10/10, would attend again.

  • Best concert Ive been to

by Sophie on 8/26/22Bridgestone Arena - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

When MCR broke up the only thing i regretted was never seeing them in concert. With their reunion tour I realized I had another chance and I don’t regret it one bit. If you’re considering just do it cause it was the most fun concert I’ve ever been to and it made getting home at 4 am and waking up at 8 am worth it.

  • GOAT

by Jessica on 8/26/22Bridgestone Arena - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

I've seen hundreds of bands live in the past 30 years. This show trumped all of them by orders of magnitude. If you have a date near you on this tour, go.

  • There aren’t words

by Kris Kidwell on 8/26/22Bridgestone Arena - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

I’ll never be able to accurately describe this show. Never. The openers were great, the venue and its staff were fantastic, the atmosphere of the show was perfect. But MCR? Out of this world - I had the privilege of seeing them on the Black Parade tour, so I had high expectations, and they absolutely obliterated them. I’ve never seen a band seem happier, more energetic, or more magnificently themselves than at this show. I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to go see another band again; I’ve been ruined.

  • Amazing

    by Danielle C on 8/26/22Bridgestone Arena - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

One of the best concerts I’ve been too. Bridgestone was quick getting everyone in, plenty of room and facilities available. Maximum wait time for a bathroom was 5 minutes. MCR killed it. Sounded amazing and played everything I could’ve hoped for and more. Would love to see them again!!

  • Overwhelmed

by GlitterBomber on 8/26/22Bridgestone Arena - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

I’ve been a fan since 2004, but I was a young mom and couldn’t go to concerts. Finally, they got back together and I was able to share the experience with my 17 year old daughter and her friends. It was surreal and memorable to say the least!!

  • ……

    by a on 8/26/22Bridgestone Arena - NashvilleRating: 3 out of 5

security was extremely rude. I had gotten up to grab food and I already knew where my seat was bc I had sat down earlier. As I was going towards the stairs one security lady yelled at me to show my ticket then literally pushed me to move as she yelled “GO!!!” with an attitude bc she looked at my ticket…. mind you I have a boot on my broken foot and I almost tripped on another person. at no point did I give these ppl attitude or disrespect, absolutely no need to treat anyone like that.

  • Hmmm

by Nope on 8/26/22Bridgestone Arena - NashvilleRating: 2 out of 5

The band was great. The seats are small the groups need to be in the middle of Building. The other end is not okay. The sound quality is fair not good. Bridgestone is my least favorite venue. The food and drinks are too expensive for what you get

  • Kinda got ripped off, but MCR rocked!

by Dbl Feature on 8/26/22Bridgestone Arena - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Venue was unorganized getting us inside. They said it would be immediate entry for bagless, but doors didn’t even open until 30 minutes after they said they would, and there wasn’t a clear line for bags and bagless people. Also we noticed that tickets were significantly cheaper a day before the show. However, they didn’t allow us to exchange our seats that we spent $300 on for better seats. Seats that were closer and better than ours ended up dropping below $100 the day before the show. The seats were comfortable, drinks were good kinda expensive (even for a venue.) overall, if this venue is notorious for dropping tickets prices the day before a concert, I would just not purchase tickets until the day before. However, it seems kinda unfair and makes me not want to come back.

  • Best night of my life ever

by Olivia on 8/26/22Bridgestone Arena - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

I’ve literally waited my whole life for this concert and MCR did not disappoint!! Gerard and his costumes give me absolute life and oh my god do they know how to put on a show!! It was worth every penny spent !!

  • We had an absolute blast

by My Chem fan(mom) on 8/26/22Bridgestone Arena - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Venue could have been more specific about where lines began and what for. Other than that the bands were awesome. My son had the time of his life seeing a band he knew he'd never see live!

  • Band was great, seats were not great.

by Daniel on 8/26/22Bridgestone Arena - NashvilleRating: 4 out of 5

Some of the most expensive seats in this venue as it was setup were behind the GA standing section - on the same level, meaning GA had the best seats in the house for much less. Band was great, crowd was too, but the arena seating arrangement drags down the overall experience.

  • My First Emo Concert

by ThatOtherMaegan on 8/26/22Bridgestone Arena - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

I was so excited to book these tickets. The people I met were amazing. I upgraded to the Lexus Lounge as well. The bartender was amazing. I couldn’t eat most of the food so just drank mostly lol I was on the floor right behind the pit and had an amazing view of MCR. I may or may not have cried. The Bridgestone Arena was an awesome venue

  • An amazing night

by Nick White on 8/26/22Bridgestone Arena - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

I've waited fifteen years for this concert and it didn't disappoint.
