About

My Chemical Romance are a rock band composed of lead vocalist Gerard Way, bassist Mikey Way and guitarists Ray Toro and Frank Iero. Formed in 2001 in New Jersey, MCR have become highly influential for their blend of rock, pop-punk and emo music along with unflinchingly open lyrics and theatrical live performances. Beginning with 2002’s I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love, MCR have released four studio albums, two live recordings and three compilations. The band unveiled their major label debut, Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge, in 2004 behind their first charting singles, “I'm Not Okay (I Promise),” “Helena” and “The Ghost of You.” In 2006, MCR’s third album The Black Parade reached a career-high No. 2 on the Billboard 200, while lead single “Welcome to the Black Parade” peaked at No. 9 on the Hot 100. After touring 2010’s Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, MCR did not perform together again until 2019, followed by a reunion world tour between 2022 and 2023. The band headlined Las Vegas’ When We Were Young Festival in 2024. In 2025, My Chemical Romance embarked on a tour in celebration of the 20th anniversary of their landmark third studio album, The Black Parade.

  • One of the best concerts ever!

by HP on 9/16/25Raymond James Stadium - TampaRating: 5 out of 5

Had an amazing time at this concert. They brought all the nostalgia, a full broadway level performance and a rock concert in one. One of the best I’ve ever seen.

  • Amazing!!!!

by Neefer on 9/16/25Raymond James Stadium - TampaRating: 5 out of 5

It was great from start to end. I am so happy I got to experience it!!!!

  • Amazing

by Dawn on 9/16/25Raymond James Stadium - TampaRating: 5 out of 5

They were amazing - felt the energy from both stages - will NEVER forget!!!!

  • MCR! Venue:(

by Zoe on 9/16/25Raymond James Stadium - TampaRating: 3 out of 5

Love MCR but did not like this venue. Very confusing to find your seats and the sound system sucked. I couldn't understand most of what Gerard was saying.

  • Performance good, venue bad

by Ryder on 9/16/25Raymond James Stadium - TampaRating: 3 out of 5

The performances were absolutely incredible. However the venue's organization was horrible. Most of the roads surrounding are blocked off, and prevent access to their own parking lots. The floor was only accessible from a single gate to enter and had no access to stadium facilities. Would see the bands again but never at this stadium. Worst I've ever been to

  • MCR

by Paegan on 9/16/25Raymond James Stadium - TampaRating: 5 out of 5

The concert was amazing. The band put on a great thematic show. The merch lines sucked.

  • Always an Amazing Show

by lookingforbri on 9/16/25Raymond James Stadium - TampaRating: 5 out of 5

This is my second time seeing them. The last time was two years ago. They always put on an amazing performance! Gerard’s vocals still sound amazing! The rest of the band plays so well. There’s a whole storyline with the stage performance. They played the entirety of The Black Parade from beginning to end in order. Then they played some of their other singles. It’s always an out of this world experience seeing them. I definitely recommend going!

  • So sad it’s the last one

by Dani on 9/16/25Raymond James Stadium - TampaRating: 5 out of 5

Probably the best experience I’ve ever had. I am biased because My Chemical Romance is my favorite band so I was already on top of the moon. I do wish evanescence played more of their older songs though.

  • Talk About Putting On a Show!

by Em on 9/14/25Rating: 5 out of 5

Never been to a show quite like MCR. It was more than a concert, it was an artistic commentary filled with action, fire, and diabolical shredding from our beloved Ray Toro. What an absolute legendary band. Do NOT skip out on My Chemical Romance.

  • I wish I could personally thank them

by Kassandra Anderson on 9/14/25Rating: 5 out of 5

JUST WOW!! I seen My Chemical Romance last night at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, and it was truly the best concert I’ve ever experienced—and I’ve been to many, from Metallica to Janet Jackson. Nothing compares to what MCR delivered. They are, without a doubt, the greatest band of all time. From start to finish, the show exceeded every expectation I had. The energy was electric, the connection between the band and the fans was undeniable, and you could feel the love radiating through the entire stadium. Everyone was in sync—band and crowd alike—creating a moment that felt bigger than just a concert. I’m beyond thankful for this experience, one that I will never forget. MCR gave us not just music, but a memory of a lifetime. If I could, I’d thank them from the bottom of my heart for making so many people’s lives brighter with their performance. Thank you, My Chemical Romance—you gave us a show of a lifetime. 🖤

  • Almost great but sound quality was a bit off

by Alex on 9/13/25Fenway Park - BostonRating: 4 out of 5

Show was good, artists were excellent. However, bass was too quiet and there were other balance issues that kept it from being 5 stars.

  • Perfection

by Maribeth on 9/10/25Fenway Park - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

I can’t find grand enough words to describe what we experienced. Amazing! Perfect! Best night ever!!!!

  • Great show and venue. Ticketmaster itself? Nah

by Carly on 9/10/25Fenway Park - BostonRating: 4 out of 5

The show itself was AMAZING! Venue was also amazing, but Ticketmaster never said anything about downloading the ballpark app. No clue that I needed it, but thank god i had it already downloaded.

  • This Must Be What Concerts in the 70s Felt Like

by gna on 9/10/25Soldier Field - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

I’ve been to a number of concerts in many states, but this MCR concert might have been the best performance I’ve ever seen. Ever. Hands down. The set list was immaculate and the stage performance for the first half of the show was beyond comprehension. I was simply blown away. I’m glad I got to experience this MCR tour in my lifetime.

  • So amazing !

by GC on 9/10/25Fenway Park - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

Been to many different concerts but never before seen MCR and this show ranks as one of the best. Incredible performance. Even during the show I felt so lucky to be there. Really grateful for the experience. These guys rock so very hard! Their music really speaks to me these days.

  • Dreams do come true!

by Sublimemel on 9/10/25Fenway Park - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

I’ve seen MCR a few times in the last few years. Fenway made this one magical. I can’t wait to see them again! 🖤♥️

  • Beyond my wildest expectations

by Kat on 9/10/25Fenway Park - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

The show was amazing! It was like 2 concerts in 1. First was the black parade played in its entirety and then a brief intermission where the band came back out onto a smaller stage and played an array of songs off multiple albums. The play-like vibe of TBP was amazing and well orchestrated, the band ripped, and the energy of the crowd was palpable. 10/10

  • Outstanding show, great music

by Johnnygull on 9/10/25Fenway Park - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

MCR killed it. The Black Parade portion was terrifically well staged. Quite a spectacle. After that show, they performed older work that was also great. Band and audience were bonded and the communal experience was fun. One of the best events I've seen, with the exception of the opening act, which was really weak. My son and I wondered if they were a spoof of a punk band, a la Spinal Tap. Spitting, drooling and blowing your nose on stage is so late 70s. Put the energy into lyrics that mean something. Surprised MCR would have that act open for them.

  • Best Ever

by DC on 9/10/25Fenway Park - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

I hate to say that MCR was better than an Eminem concert....but yes I have said it. Being at Fenway on a full moon night with a great performance - outstanding!!

  • MCR

by Mel on 9/9/25Rating: 5 out of 5

I saw them live for the first time in 2022 at the Kia forum and that was amazing! I got to see them this past July at Dodgers stadium for the long live the black parade tour and it was amazing. They put on a good show and had amazing visuals
