About

My Chemical Romance are a rock band composed of lead vocalist Gerard Way, bassist Mikey Way and guitarists Ray Toro and Frank Iero. Formed in 2001 in New Jersey, MCR have become highly influential for their blend of rock, pop-punk and emo music along with unflinchingly open lyrics and theatrical live performances. Beginning with 2002’s I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love, MCR have released four studio albums, two live recordings and three compilations. The band unveiled their major label debut, Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge, in 2004 behind their first charting singles, “I'm Not Okay (I Promise),” “Helena” and “The Ghost of You.” In 2006, MCR’s third album The Black Parade reached a career-high No. 2 on the Billboard 200, while lead single “Welcome to the Black Parade” peaked at No. 9 on the Hot 100. After touring 2010’s Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, MCR did not perform together again until 2019, followed by a reunion world tour between 2022 and 2023. The band headlined Las Vegas’ When We Were Young Festival in 2024. In 2025, My Chemical Romance embarked on a tour in celebration of the 20th anniversary of their landmark third studio album, The Black Parade.

  • Performance was AMAZING, venue was less so.

by sgt on 9/16/25Raymond James Stadium - TampaRating: 4 out of 5

MCR’s performance was one of the best to date! The issue was the ticket price for our seats. I definitely paid a significant amount for the tickets, but the seats should have been priced for an “Obstructed View” as I couldn’t see the entirety of the band, nor the screens behind them.

  • A dream come true!

by Gareth on 9/16/25Raymond James Stadium - TampaRating: 5 out of 5

I've been following MCR for 20+ years and last got to see them in 2007 so the chance to see them AND Evanescence was a dream come true. And they did not disappoint. What a concert!

  • BEST NIGHT EVER!

by Vyky on 9/16/25Raymond James Stadium - TampaRating: 5 out of 5

Aside from the Florida heat and the merch issues the show was amazing and I would do it all over again in heart beat.

  • Best. Concert. Ever

by Em on 9/16/25Raymond James Stadium - TampaRating: 5 out of 5

The energy was crazy, the band put on such a great show, worth all of the money. I’d definitely go see them again.

  • The show was phenomenal. The merch line was a hot mess

by Mariah on 9/16/25Raymond James Stadium - TampaRating: 3 out of 5

Mcr and evanescence were amazing. However I missed the majority of evanescence and nearly half a set of mcr waiting for merch, the line all all night was insane. From an hour before the show to the end of the night the merch line was 500 feet long. Idk if they need to add more people cashing out or more merch booths, but it kind of stunted the experience. I got merch without size or product discrepancies, so I know that wasn’t the issue.

  • A night to remember

by KuriBun on 9/16/25Raymond James Stadium - TampaRating: 5 out of 5

The concert was amazing. My Chemical Romance and Evanescence put on a dope show! It almost felt like 2 shows in 1. Evanescence's set had old and new song and it was just great! MCR's theatrics, the vocals, and the grandiose scale of everything. The B was just perfect!! I loved it. LONG LIVE THE BLACK PARADE!

  • Amazing

Every time i see this iconic band i love them more. The theatrics, stage setup, and their pure passion and talent is unmatched. Thank you My Chem for the endless joy you bring to our lives.

  • Best night ever!

by Skylar on 9/16/25Raymond James Stadium - TampaRating: 5 out of 5

MCR played an amazing set and it was a dream come true! The merch line was bit chaotic, but the band was in top form and it was just an unbelievable experience.

  • Incredible and Iconic

by Em on 9/16/25Raymond James Stadium - TampaRating: 5 out of 5

This show was incredible. You could tell there was so much thought and dedication to the show! As a long time fan it really took me back. The initial set was a story and the second set felt weirdly intimate in a stadium full of people. It's incredible to hear a stadium of emos singing at the top of their lungs. 10/10 Highly recommend. I found out later there was a ton of lore that pulls all the shows together so I'll have to look into that next haha

  • Best show of my life!

by Zack on 9/16/25Raymond James Stadium - TampaRating: 5 out of 5

My Chemical Romance was incredible. Their performance was unlike anything I’ve seen before. The theatrics, the whole storyline and everything just made the experience so special. Honestly, best day of my life. As soon as it was over I was wishing I could relive it.

  • great stage performance - gate access could be better

by Jay C on 9/16/25Raymond James Stadium - TampaRating: 5 out of 5

Outstanding venue for the concert -Gate Access could have been better with better access to the entrances

  • My poor feet ~ lol

by Shar on 9/16/25Raymond James Stadium - TampaRating: 4 out of 5

The concert was fantastic. The sound was great. The only thing was the audience stood the entire time so either you stood or sat down and looked at the backs of everyone. My feet hurt by the end of the night but I survived. Thanks MCR for a great show!!

  • Love this band!

by Jennifer on 9/16/25Raymond James Stadium - TampaRating: 5 out of 5

The creativity and stage show that went into the first part of MCR’s concert was amazing! Loved the theme and the use of the screens in the stadium to put you into the country of Draag. The invented language code-Keposhka-for some of the rules and posters, and the singing of the Draag national anthem to begin the show was so well done! Then after the Black Parade part of the concert, the band came out to a stage in the center of the crowd and played as themselves, even “introducing” themselves. They played many great songs from their other albums in a more “intimate” and raw show similar to their concerts back before the Black Parade. I wish I wasn’t at their last show for the North American leg of the tour. I wanted to immediately see this show again. I would have travelled to another city to have had a chance to experience it again.

  • A once in a lifetime experience

by Jay on 9/16/25Raymond James Stadium - TampaRating: 5 out of 5

I feel like I’ve ascended. It was absolutely the best. MCR still is amazing after all these years. I cried during the concert. We also had evanescence as the opening act which made it even more special. My emo heart is fulfilled

  • Absolutely amazing

by Cailynn on 9/16/25Raymond James Stadium - TampaRating: 5 out of 5

I’ve been a fan of MCR since high school and thought I’d never see them, but finally getting to exceeded every single expectation I had. It was so amazing, unforgettable, and perfect. I love this band so much; I’m so glad I stayed alive to get to hear my favorite songs in person 🖤

  • I made it.

by Reagan on 9/16/25Raymond James Stadium - TampaRating: 5 out of 5

When I was 13 years old I made a bucket list. The very first thing I wrote was "see My Chemical Romance perform The Black Parade in its entirety". They were broken up at the time, but I was living on nothing but hope. This Saturday at 22 years old, I finally got to check off that box. It couldn't have been more worth the wait. It was genuinely the best night of my life and they could not have put on a better performance. Thank you to the band that not only saved my life at 13, but changed it as well at 22. This concert felt like a celebration that I have made it this far, and was the push I needed to keep going. The amount of passion and emotion the band puts into each show is inspiring in ways I can't even put into words. Thank you MCR for being my main source of comfort through absolutely everything. I love you just as much at 22 as I did at 13.

  • Brilliant

by it's tricky on 9/16/25Raymond James Stadium - TampaRating: 5 out of 5

The most excellent concert I've attended. Fantastic work MCR!!

  • Show and venue were awesome.

by Katie on 9/16/25Raymond James Stadium - TampaRating: 5 out of 5

The show was amazing and the venue was clean. Directions on where to go were unclear however and ticket master sucks but that’s nothing new but unfortunately when you can’t buy tickets anywhere else there isn’t really much you can do.

  • MCR show

by Amyle on 9/16/25Raymond James Stadium - TampaRating: 5 out of 5

Great concert !! Smooth getting into Raymond James and getting to our seats line For merch was extremely long , leaving the stadium was difficult due to sold out event traffic was horrible. Love MCR was fantastic concert despite inconveniences.

  • Best concert ever!!!!

by Beanie on 9/16/25Raymond James Stadium - TampaRating: 5 out of 5

The concert was amazing — pure energy, emotion, and nostalgia. My Chemical Romance delivered a powerful, unforgettable performance.
