About

My Chemical Romance are a rock band composed of lead vocalist Gerard Way, bassist Mikey Way and guitarists Ray Toro and Frank Iero. Formed in 2001 in New Jersey, MCR have become highly influential for their blend of rock, pop-punk and emo music along with unflinchingly open lyrics and theatrical live performances. Beginning with 2002’s I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love, MCR have released four studio albums, two live recordings and three compilations. The band unveiled their major label debut, Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge, in 2004 behind their first charting singles, “I'm Not Okay (I Promise),” “Helena” and “The Ghost of You.” In 2006, MCR’s third album The Black Parade reached a career-high No. 2 on the Billboard 200, while lead single “Welcome to the Black Parade” peaked at No. 9 on the Hot 100. After touring 2010’s Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, MCR did not perform together again until 2019, followed by a reunion world tour between 2022 and 2023. The band headlined Las Vegas’ When We Were Young Festival in 2024. In 2025, My Chemical Romance embarked on a tour in celebration of the 20th anniversary of their landmark third studio album, The Black Parade.

  • Just an amazing show

by Vyktor on 9/17/25Raymond James Stadium - TampaRating: 5 out of 5

I've been a huge fan of my chem for over a decade. I swear every halloween I've dressed from a music video and listen to them 364 days a year. It was just amazing to see them again since this is my second show I've gotten to be there for. I really had a great time and even thought the ticket process was stressful with hundreds of thousands of fans waiting to grab one I still had a decent enough time using tis app. But all in all 10/10 show!!!!!

  • Amazing, stupendous, stunning, life-changing

by carriecarriecarrie on 9/17/25Raymond James Stadium - TampaRating: 5 out of 5

I’m still processing how unbelievable this show was. It wasn’t a concert; it was an experience. Long live the Black Parade. 🖤

  • Great except for the kids

by Helena on 9/17/25Raymond James Stadium - TampaRating: 3 out of 5

I absolutely love MCR, always have. I also love concerts, I’ve been to *many*, I’ve throttled around many mosh pits, I’ve been to really loud and rowdy concerts, I’ve gone to florida fest and attended shows for the entire day, I’ve heard MANY a screaming. However, I have never, ever, in my entire life, heard the screaming that I heard from the preteens behind us at the concert. It was so bad that the older siblings with them plugged their ears because it was so loud. It was piercing. It wasn’t with the show, either, so their screaming often interrupted entire songs. It was so bad people in my row LEFT because of the behavior of the kids. And it was hard, we didn’t want to say anything because we didn’t want to be “those” adults, however, looking back and seeing a concert goer have to walk away and CRY because of how loud it was, I wish I had said something. If the people from the show responsible for this behavior reads this: shame on you. For context, these jerks were in row M, section 306.

  • Awful Experience

by Danni on 9/17/25Raymond James Stadium - TampaRating: 2 out of 5

The venue was terrible about purses (even though several women had smaller bags than what was allowed, they were still told to stand in line to then rent a locker or walk back to the car). The fact that this is a concert and we are in stadium seating was total garbage. I missed the first singer, Evanescence, because parking was a total atrocity and finally when My Chem came out the audio was so poor that you could barely hear Gerard singing. Don't even get me started on how overpriced the drinks are $20 for a Nutrl that costs under $4 at the gas station, same size. I will never go back to Raymond James for any concert ever again.

  • Absolutely Incredible

    by LauraBex120 on 9/17/25Raymond James Stadium - TampaRating: 5 out of 5

This show was my first time seeing My Chemical Romance, and I've been a fan for over half my life. They were amazing! Everything that I ever thought they would be live. So glad I was able to finally fulfil a dream :)

  • It would have been 5 stars! The performers were AMAZING.

by Katie on 9/17/25Raymond James Stadium - TampaRating: 3 out of 5

My issue is the floor seats. With how much this tickets cost, the seats are so small that my thighs/buttocks/arms were rubbing against complete strangers. I couldn't stand because there was no leg room in front of me. The fold out chairs they provide you would accommodate a highschooler at most. My other issue is everyone standing up at once obstructs your view that would other wise be PERFECT to view the stage. So I'm not sure if the stage needs to be higher or what, but it was definitely not ok. Evanescence and My Chemical Romance were absolutely amazing. I enjoyed their performance SO much! It was everything my teenage self would have dreamt of :)

  • the best thing my eyes have witnessed

by ValGalPal on 9/17/25Raymond James Stadium - TampaRating: 5 out of 5

The title says it all! So incredibly honored to have seen this show - MCR and Evanescence put on some damn good PERFORMANCES. The post show blues are so real. I will definitely be seeing them again if the chance ever comes up again 😉

  • My Chemical Romance was amazing

by Chocolatebats on 9/17/25Raymond James Stadium - TampaRating: 5 out of 5

They put on such an amazing show! I hope I can see them again someday. I’ve been waiting my whole life to see them practically. I’ve been a fan for 20 years and it was a dream come true to hear them play live. Next time I’ll try to get closer seats! This show sold out so fast it was hard to get good seats but that’s to be expected with a band like them❤️

  • Super great

by Adrien on 9/17/25Raymond James Stadium - TampaRating: 5 out of 5

i loved the way they did this show, one of the greatest concerts i’ve been to and that’s saying something

  • Favorite band, favorite performance

by Cass on 9/16/25Raymond James Stadium - TampaRating: 5 out of 5

Absolutely amazing 🤩 Gerard was as always the best showman and sold the entire performance. Frank, Mikey and Ray killed it. No pun intended.

  • Event was amazing/ buying tickets… not so much

by Kim on 9/16/25Raymond James Stadium - TampaRating: 5 out of 5

We saw Evanescence and My Chemical Romance at the Raymond James Stadium, Tampa, Fl. It was easy to get in if you were not waiting for Merch. Buying tickets was a nightmare. To Ticketmaster: if I have tickets in my cart they should not get sold out from under me four times before I have a chance to buy them. Do better.

  • What an experience!!!

by GP on 9/16/25Rating: 5 out of 5

From performing for a Grand Immortal Dictator, to a man on fire, to an election/execution, to a protest, to a stage on fire, to stabbings, to kidnappings, to a murderous, suicide bomber clown, the show was a rollercoaster! An absolute amazing and incredible experience that I will never forget! And 25 songs of a 2 hour playlist?! Unheard of! The most epic thing I have ever witnessed and this will be one for the history books! BEST BAND EVER!!!!!

  • 1000/10

by Jehan on 9/16/25Raymond James Stadium - TampaRating: 5 out of 5

WORTH EVERY PENNY!!! Hope we’ll see them again!!!!

  • MCR Final in Tampa

by Lario on 9/16/25Raymond James Stadium - TampaRating: 5 out of 5

It was amazing! The whole concert felt like a performance, the visuals, the pyrotechnics, and the band itself were amazing. I would definitely go to another one of there concerts again! I loved it!

  • INCREDIBLE! Best concert I've ever seen.

    by Bobbysgirl777 on 9/16/25Raymond James Stadium - TampaRating: 5 out of 5

The concert itself was absolutely perfect. The theatrics, the aesthetics, the song choices. Gerard sounded phenomenal - better than ever. Truly a transcendent experience. I would go again a thousand times. However, the venue itself left a lot to be desired. Especially staff during early merch. And the closing of all the roads post-concert.

  • Amazing
