About

My Chemical Romance are a rock band composed of lead vocalist Gerard Way, bassist Mikey Way and guitarists Ray Toro and Frank Iero. Formed in 2001 in New Jersey, MCR have become highly influential for their blend of rock, pop-punk and emo music along with unflinchingly open lyrics and theatrical live performances. Beginning with 2002’s I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love, MCR have released four studio albums, two live recordings and three compilations. The band unveiled their major label debut, Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge, in 2004 behind their first charting singles, “I'm Not Okay (I Promise),” “Helena” and “The Ghost of You.” In 2006, MCR’s third album The Black Parade reached a career-high No. 2 on the Billboard 200, while lead single “Welcome to the Black Parade” peaked at No. 9 on the Hot 100. After touring 2010’s Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, MCR did not perform together again until 2019, followed by a reunion world tour between 2022 and 2023. The band headlined Las Vegas’ When We Were Young Festival in 2024. In 2025, My Chemical Romance embarked on a tour in celebration of the 20th anniversary of their landmark third studio album, The Black Parade.

  • Show of a lifetime

by AuntieSandy on 7/30/25Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

Listen, I’m a Gen X and I brought my son and his girlfriend to The Black Parade show for his birthday present. My Chem is one of my favorite bands and this was my first time seeing them live. When I tell you this was an ultimate production, I am not exaggerating. We pretty much got three concerts in one, plus a play, and an interactive experience. When all the black parade drama was done, the band then came out and did a whole other concert for us with a whole set list of faves. Most of the MCRmy was all done up in cosplay as band members or album covers, music video tributes. It was amazing. The stage presence was unbelievable and being able to see this at Dodger stadium was such a magical experience. If I never see another show again I would be okay with this being my last. No joke. I’m beyond impressed.

  • LA MCR opinion

by Second seeing MCR on this tour on 7/30/25Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

Seeing My Chemical Romance at Dodger Stadium was unforgettable. The energy was electric, and the band put on a phenomenal show that exceeded expectations. It was our second time seeing them, and it absolutely made my 16-year-old daughter’s life—she’s still buzzing from the experience. While the concert itself was incredible, the venue left a bit to be desired. There were surprisingly few food options available and not enough trash or recycling bins, which made it harder to keep things clean and comfortable. Still, MCR delivered everything we hoped for and more. A night to remember!

  • Great show, terrible parking

by GM on 7/30/25Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

I absolutely LOVED MCR!!! The parking situation was terrible to say the least. Getting out took forever, where it was basically a free for all with no lanes and no direction at the stadium

  • Dodger stadium kinda sucks

by Lou on 7/30/25Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 2 out of 5

Paid for field seats but the netting was obscuring the view. Ruined it

  • AMAZINGGG

by Lindseylooo on 7/30/25Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

MCR has been and always be amazing. First concert in four years and it was the best. I was on my feet the whole time dancing until my toes became numb. 10/10, please come back to LA 😅🖤

  • EVERYTHING I COULD’VE EVER WISHED FOR AND MORE

by shybutnotquiet on 7/30/25Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

I went to both nights of their legendary Dodger stadium shows and heard every single song I love live including my favorite Summertime 😭💗 I was devastated when I had ti miss their shows at the forum and this was everything I could’ve wanted and more truly so unforgettable and incredible

  • Great show, terrible organization

by Ainsley on 7/30/25Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 4 out of 5

Overall, the show was absolutely amazing. MCR put on an amazing show and I enjoyed it. The issue honestly was the venue itself. First off, trying to figure out where to go to park. I prepaid for Lot K and I asked a few people if I was entering from the right entrance (as the stadium has several) and I was told yes it was fine. Turns out it wasn't and I had to maneuver around the entire stadium since I had entered from the opposite side. There was no clear signs on how to get to certain lots. Getting into the venue itself was actually pretty quick and easy so I appreciated that. Trying to figure out though where to check in for the field area was not marked at all so I had difficulty finding it but eventually did. The worst part though was trying to exit once the concert was over. There was absolutely no direction or help from anyone wrong. It took me almost 90 minutes just to get out of the venue (50 of those was simply trying to just get out of the lot I parked in). Overall, great show but theu really need to figure out more efficient ways of marking where to go and getting people out of the venue.

  • Fantastic Show

by sluggotor on 7/30/25Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

More than a concert - this was an interactive show. Absolutely awesome and in my top 3 for sure.

  • A remarkable first experience

by Bex on 7/30/25Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

Having never been to an MCR concert before, I had two main concerns—that we were going to be too far away to see anything, and that even if I could see things, I wouldn't understand it anyways. Not so! There were plenty of jumbotrons catering to the people in the back, and the "story"of the concert was fun, unexpected, and engaging without depending on reference. They played the entire album in order, then had an encore with some other favorites and covers! Fantastic experience.

  • Amazing!

by DHR on 7/30/25Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

Great concert pulling right back into the Black Parade and touching on hits. My absolute only drawback were the foul ball nets still up at the stadium

  • Best show ever!!!

by Erin D on 7/30/25Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

Food at the stadium sucked and was over priced but the show was stellar!!!!

  • LONG LIVE THE BLACK PARADE

by Mike on 7/30/25Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

That was my favorite concert by far!!! The band was so good live. Can't wait to see them again

  • Awesome summer night concert!

by Nat on 7/30/25Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

This was my son’s second concert, following SlipKnot and he was super excited! I think the only complaint I had, as I’m sure many others, but it’s nothing that can be changed, is the price for food. But the seats were good, the Jumbotrons helped us enjoy the concert because the band looked like ants from our view. The crowd was just a bunch of great people, enjoying some great music and talented artists. Staff was friendly and helpful and available, which I really appreciated because we might’ve been mixed up with our seats, lol. Thank you!

  • MCR IS THE BEST FR

by allie on 7/30/25Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

such an amazing concert i love mcr!?! dodgers stadium sucks tho fr don’t go. but mcr they were awesome per usual such a long concert it was insane in the best way

  • Best show of my life!

by DennyG on 7/30/25Rating: 5 out of 5

I have been an MCR fan since their very first album. So yup, it's been quite some years, I had the chance to see them only four times, but this show exceeded any expectations I had. Despite how big of a fan I am, they really put on an amazing show, full of theatrics, energy, emotions, and more! If there are people out there that think MCR is "too political,"they clearly don't know the band very well, which doesn't change the fact that they truly gave an unforgettable experience. I never had them so close until that day; I was watching the whole show from Stage B, and I pretty much lost it after they showed up to play their second setlist. Can't wait for the next time I get so see them again! 🫶🏻

  • Great concert, bad organization

by Gaby on 7/30/25Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 4 out of 5

The show itself was amazing, best two nights. The stadium staff was lacking in communication about where people had to go inside the stadium and during parking.

  • Healed my inner teenager

by Ghost on 7/30/25Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

This was one of the best concerts I’ve been to and I’m so glad I was able to experience it because I never thought I’d be able to see them live so I’m so glad I was able to see them live. It was so much fun and I got to hear my favorite songs live.

  • Great concert, awful merch lines

by Lumi on 7/29/25Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 4 out of 5

You'd think in the year 2025 we could do better than three hour lines for merch. The concert was great but the venue was again unprepared for the expected number of people to show up and want to do things like buy food and go to the bathroom during the several hours long event.

  • Amazing

by Carlos s on 7/29/25Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

Childhoods dream come true watching them put on a amazing performance

  • MCR 4 LYFE
