About

My Chemical Romance are a rock band composed of lead vocalist Gerard Way, bassist Mikey Way and guitarists Ray Toro and Frank Iero. Formed in 2001 in New Jersey, MCR have become highly influential for their blend of rock, pop-punk and emo music along with unflinchingly open lyrics and theatrical live performances. Beginning with 2002’s I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love, MCR have released four studio albums, two live recordings and three compilations. The band unveiled their major label debut, Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge, in 2004 behind their first charting singles, “I'm Not Okay (I Promise),” “Helena” and “The Ghost of You.” In 2006, MCR’s third album The Black Parade reached a career-high No. 2 on the Billboard 200, while lead single “Welcome to the Black Parade” peaked at No. 9 on the Hot 100. After touring 2010’s Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, MCR did not perform together again until 2019, followed by a reunion world tour between 2022 and 2023. The band headlined Las Vegas’ When We Were Young Festival in 2024. In 2025, My Chemical Romance embarked on a tour in celebration of the 20th anniversary of their landmark third studio album, The Black Parade.

  • Band was top tier merch was a disaster

by Jay on 7/29/25Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 3 out of 5

Best performance ever! However, the merch lines were the most unorganized and chaotic lines I've ever stood in! Not even SoFi stadium merch lines are that insane! That stadium is much larger and holds more people with less of a hassle and chaos for merch.

  • Biblical experience. Changed my life.

by MCR Lover on 7/29/25Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

It was absolutely amazing the theatrics were actually insane the band really went all out and really ensured everyone had a good time I was crying from joy the entire concert if I had the chance to go back and see it again I would.

  • Great! But…

by Me on 7/29/25Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 4 out of 5

I only have a few critiques. It would’ve been better if all merch booths were outside the stadium. Also, it was disappointing to see parking tickets were no longer being sold on the day of the concert Sunday night. Doesn’t help for spontaneous attendance. Otherwise the experience was great!

  • MCR

    by J.Wat on 7/29/25Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

First time seeing MCR and they were amazing live! I would totally see them again.

  • Excellent Return

by Kat on 7/29/25Oracle Park - San FranciscoRating: 5 out of 5

Saw these MCR for the first time at Oracle Park. They were amazing, complete with all the bells and whistles you’d expect from the Long Live the Black Parade tour. Would highly recommend anyone who is on the fence about going to take the plunge and buy tickets. You won’t be disappointed. I’d love to see them again if they come to the Bay Area after this tour is over.

  • Disappointing

    by IP3 on 7/29/25Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 2 out of 5

The seats I purchased were at a horrible angle to see the band on the main stage. I think Ticketmaster can improve the overall experience for fans if they were honest about the actual view from the seats. We didn’t even sit in our seats because of the angle and found a spot to stand for the whole show so we could actually see the band perform cause we couldn’t even see the video screens of the show from our seats.

  • A Religious Experience

by AshMarlo on 7/29/25Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

This concert was so fantastic. The venue was hard to get in and out of and the merch lines were absolutely ridiculous. Some people waited upwards of 3 hours for merch. But when it comes to the show itself, it was a wonderful experience. I can’t express enough how much of a dream it was to see them and in this way was the cherry on top. It wasn’t just a concert, it was a theatrical show, a moment in my life I’ll never forget. I am so glad to have been able to attend.

  • Best concert I’ve ever been to

by amccarty on 7/29/25Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

This was such a phenomenal show it’s impossible to put into words how much I loved it and would see it over and over again and love every second. My Chem truly never disappoints.

  • Excellent show, dodger stadium could’ve been better

by So on 7/29/25Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 4 out of 5

We had a net right in front of our section the entire time. I don’t think lowering it for two days would be that big of a deal specially for a stadium with as much money as Dodger stadium. Staff was beyond unhelpful when trying to find my seat. One of them flat out ignored me to my face when I politely tried to ask where my section was. The show itself? A masterpiece.

  • Phenomenal Show!

    by Esti0480 on 7/29/25Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

I live in Arizona and went to LA for the concert to take my daughter. I’m a fan but she’s a super fan. The trip was worth it! My daughter cried the whole time and said it was “A dream come true!”

  • MCR-Epic!!! Trying to leave Dodger Stadium-Atrocious!!!

by Kristin on 7/29/25Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 4 out of 5

We attended MCR-My Chemical Romance at Dodger Stadium on 7/26/25. The band was unbelievable and epic. We had a great time at the show. Trying to leave the stadium after the show was absolutely atrocious from the time we stood up out of our seats. Only one place to exit for the cattle throng of people trying to leave. Worse than any tragic on any LA freeway and we were just trying to walk out. Then trying to access any rideshare to leave the stadium was impossible. I couldn’t even connect to the app while in the designated spot we were told to go for rideshare. I’m sure that was related to 45,000 other people trying to do the same thing at the same time. Maybe a WiFi of cell phone booster of some sorts in that area would be helpful so everyone can get to their ride and get out. So very unorganized for a place that should be on top of it.

  • I loved it!!! I will forever love their music

by Fedra on 7/29/25Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

Sharing memories of my adolescence with my daughter was an unforgettable night....

  • 10/10 concert- horrible merch lines

by Party on 7/29/25Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 4 out of 5

Seeing my chem has been a dream concert for me and it was so good! They put on the best performance ever.. only issue was the merch lines at Dodgers Stadium. Stood in it since when we got there at 6 and got to our seats right when they started to play the first song at about 8:35.. Dodgers Stadium needs to figure out the merch lines because I know that a ton of people also missed the performance due to it. Thankfully the employee who helped me get merch was nice and fast with grabbing my things I wanted since I didn’t ask for a lot of stuff. Hopefully I can see My Chem on tour again and if not then I’m just glad I got to see them once

  • Life Changing - Positive Impact

by Andromeda on 7/29/25Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

Such a smooth and life changing experience. The band will forever hold a special place in my heart. Shoutout to the entire staff that night for a pleasant experience as well. They made it all worth it !!

  • Thank You

by Honey !! on 7/29/25Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

This show was amazing! After a missed opportunity years ago, I finally got to see them! The show was amazing. Their openers, The Wallows, sounded great and they made me a fan. The actual MCR show was more than I could’ve ever imagined. The thought, the theatrics, all of it was amazing. I got to hear all the songs off “The Black Parade” album and a few more extra songs; I was in heaven leaving their show and I still am.

  • Awesome Concert. Terrible Merch Lines.

by MK on 7/29/25Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 4 out of 5

Absolutely thrilling experience seeing MCR live. Great band, great show, super exciting to hear a song off of Paper Kingdoms live. No complaints about the show whatsoever. However, the merch lines were abysmal. We waited in the line outside Dodger Stadium for a bit before being persuaded to go join the """shorter"""lines inside by a stadium worker going up and down telling people that if they went inside they'd be in and seated with merch from the stands inside before any of the people outside in the "monstrous"line even got their merch. We were quite a bit back from the front, but the line was moving at a good pace and our total wait would've been maybe an hour and fifteen minutes after already being there for just about half an hour. We went inside, and despite there being a few different merch stands scattered around and the lines looking on par with the one outside in length, we stood in line inside for 3 and a half hours and completely missed the opener and barely made it to our seats in time for MCR to start. Dodger Stadium did not handle merch well at all. I do like that MCR did have enough merch that, despite the wait, they still had everything in all the sizes. However thats just the band and their planning team being amazing.

  • Awesome but…

by Potato on 7/29/25Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 4 out of 5

The band was great and amazing performance, but the venue wasn’t the best, it was hard to view from certain seats even though they had a preview camera shot of the seats. And every single line for merch was a minimum 1 hour wait regardless of seating level.

  • MCR Venue and Merch

by Nino on 7/29/25Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

The show/bands were amazing!! Dream come true seeing MCR. Entry into the venue was not efficient. Wristband pickup was smooth, took only about 1 minute. The merch lines were completely inefficient for being a cashless event. Long lines, long waits, I had to jump out of the line after I had waited over 1.5 hours because I missed Wallows and MCR was about to come on. My friend had to walk away from the show while MCR was playing to buy merch with almost no wait.

  • AWESOME SHOW!!!

    by K.C. on 7/29/25Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

I've been a fan for 20 years and this is my 2nd time seeing them live. My first experience was ok but this one was AMAZING!! they played for 2 hours and gave a great performance. Gerard can still sing and scream and the rest of the band sounded awesome. I highly recommend it. The only downside would be the long and slow merch lines but other than that is a 10/10.

  • amazing

by michelle on 7/29/25Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

they are amazing performers and whenever we get the chance to see them we do! always switching up the setlist and keeping you on your toes
