About

My Chemical Romance are a rock band composed of lead vocalist Gerard Way, bassist Mikey Way and guitarists Ray Toro and Frank Iero. Formed in 2001 in New Jersey, MCR have become highly influential for their blend of rock, pop-punk and emo music along with unflinchingly open lyrics and theatrical live performances. Beginning with 2002’s I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love, MCR have released four studio albums, two live recordings and three compilations. The band unveiled their major label debut, Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge, in 2004 behind their first charting singles, “I'm Not Okay (I Promise),” “Helena” and “The Ghost of You.” In 2006, MCR’s third album The Black Parade reached a career-high No. 2 on the Billboard 200, while lead single “Welcome to the Black Parade” peaked at No. 9 on the Hot 100. After touring 2010’s Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, MCR did not perform together again until 2019, followed by a reunion world tour between 2022 and 2023. The band headlined Las Vegas’ When We Were Young Festival in 2024. In 2025, My Chemical Romance embarked on a tour in celebration of the 20th anniversary of their landmark third studio album, The Black Parade.

  • Nothing But the Best

by B. Mon on 7/30/25Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

I knew I was going to love seeing MCR in concert and though I was initially disappointed in them rehashing the Black Parade again, this show was anything but. The visuals were amazing and the stage/ set design was absolutely incredible. The lore was fun and the overall show was amazing. The band looked and sounded the happiest they've ever been, everyone was on top of their game. I found that this execution of the album, a full on theater spectacle, made it so much more hard hitting and absolutely a blast to see. And the crowd was amazing too, elevating the songs with the passion of the fans. And on top of that, we had an incredible encore out of character, with the band smiling and having a great time playing some classics and talking with the crowd. So far, this has been my absolute favorite concert I've ever been to and I don't see it being topped anytime soon. "Long Live"the Black Parade!

  • seriously one of the best concerts i’ve ever been to

My Chemical Romance was a perfect blend of theatrical and rock opera. I attended for my sisters birthday and was amazingly surprised at how much thought and effort they put in to their performances. With this band you can really tell they love every one of their fans

I'm old. I came late to the MCR family and I'm so glad I did. It was a fantastic concert. The band was outstanding. The theatrics were spot on and the crowd was infectious. It was truly a concert for the books!

  • Black parade -Dodger stadium

    by Maubie218 on 7/30/25Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

MCR is a great band. My daughter and I had a great time. The cast and crew at Dodger stadium were amazing. They were courteous and professional from start to finish. Dodger stadium is a great place to see a ball game or a concert. The ball park was clean and the sound was amazing. Thank you.

  • This was genuinely the most amazing concert ever

    by Star(gerardwayplsadoptme) on 7/30/25Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

My Chemical Romance is unmatched when it comes to compelling theatrical performances. You can't find this level of performance just anywhere. Not only was it a phenomenal concert musically, but it also HOURS long. They played nothing short of an impressive setlist. The energy of the band, as well as the crowd, was like nothing I have ever experienced. I walked out of that stadium a new person. I recommend this to everyone who likes MCR, alt rock, emo music, etc. Changed my life. Made me cry.

  • Sargon's Review

    by Sargon1969 on 7/30/25Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

My Chemical Romance at Dodger Stadium was a Historic and Memorable concert. Emo is "NOT"dead that was very obvious. MCR did not hold back and put on one of the best theatrical performances I have ever seen. To those who made it to the show, it was a blessing to see such a Historical concert for all of us Angelino's. We thank you so very much.

  • Amazing! Phenomenal!! But…

by Ami on 7/30/25Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 4 out of 5

The performance! Wow. I have been going to concerts ever since I was 14 and it’s safe to say that this was best concert I’ve ever been to. It was so interactive, so theatrical in the first part. Amazing second half as well. HOWEVER, it was so difficult leaving the stadium afterwards. Everyone was packed like sardines while trying to get where they needed to go. Not to mention the traffic exiting. The shuttles were no where to be seen after the 2-3 rounds of them going. I can imagine how long it must’ve taken them to arrive to get everyone back to grand union station. I couldn’t wait that long and ended up using the city electric bikes to be away from traffic to then find an uber or lyft. I recommend you have some sort of game plan on exiting so you’re not waiting HOURS to leave like I almost ended up doing if you used the shuttle to get to the stadium.

  • Awesome

by Vick on 7/30/25Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

I'm european. This show was incredible! So much better than in Austria!

  • If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

by Des on 7/30/25Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

Amazing show!!! Probably one of my favorite concerts! Would definitely go again if I got the chance!

  • Parking was way too far.

by Rufiooo on 7/30/25Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 3 out of 5

I bought my tickets months ahead and bought parking tickets also. Didn't get my parking pass till less then 24 hours of the show. The parking pass I paid 60 plus dollars for was by China town. A 28 min walk to a up hill stadium. People who I saw parking there didn't know how to figure out parking butbthey bought theirs a few days before the show and paid less. Way less. We figured it out together because I called ... seat geeks who I know I didn't buy the parking from them . They Had me now get another app. Different company .Then they had me download an other app to get into my parking pass information And I have to call them about 6 or 7 times cause the instructions for this tiny parking structure were terrible. They couldn't really help either. So I'd say the show was OK. But the stress I had to get there probably ruined the show for me to be honest.

  • Fantastic Show

  • My Chemical Romance Live — A Night I’ll Never Forget

by John on 7/30/25Rating: 5 out of 5

After all these years… I finally saw My Chemical Romance live. The wait? Worth every second. Their performance was unreal — raw, emotional, and electrifying. From the very first note, you could feel it: this wasn’t just a concert. It was a release, a shared exhale from thousands of people who grew up carrying pain, heartbreak, and hope in their hearts — and finally got to scream it all out together. Hearing “Helena,” “Famous Last Words,” and “I’m Not Okay” with a crowd that felt every lyric the way I did... it was healing. We weren’t just singing — we were surviving. Mourning, celebrating, remembering. United by the music that got us through the darkest nights. MCR doesn’t just perform — they resurrect something inside you. And last night, that something screamed back. "So long and goodnight"never hit harder.
