My Chemical Romance are a rock band composed of lead vocalist Gerard Way, bassist Mikey Way and guitarists Ray Toro and Frank Iero. Formed in 2001 in New Jersey, MCR have become highly influential for their blend of rock, pop-punk and emo music along with unflinchingly open lyrics and theatrical live performances. Beginning with 2002’s I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love, MCR have released four studio albums, two live recordings and three compilations. The band unveiled their major label debut, Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge, in 2004 behind their first charting singles, “I'm Not Okay (I Promise),” “Helena” and “The Ghost of You.” In 2006, MCR’s third album The Black Parade reached a career-high No. 2 on the Billboard 200, while lead single “Welcome to the Black Parade” peaked at No. 9 on the Hot 100. After touring 2010’s Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, MCR did not perform together again until 2019, followed by a reunion world tour between 2022 and 2023. The band headlined Las Vegas’ When We Were Young Festival in 2024. In 2025, My Chemical Romance embarked on a tour in celebration of the 20th anniversary of their landmark third studio album, The Black Parade.

Fantastic show had a lot of fun there was theatrics pyrotechnics it was loud do bring earplugs but otherwise great show
My Chemical Romance was nothing short of extraordinary. Their theatrical performance was incredible and their musical genius knows no limits. Metlife was easy to navigate and an all over 10/10 experience!
Amazing show! A MCR Musical Theater Production the First Half and Just Rocking the Second! On Another Note my daughter who accompanied me has a broken ankle. The Staff at metfife were amazing in accommodating us! Thanks For the Amazing Memories MCR! This was a dream come true for my Daughter who is a Huge Fan!
For a throwback to my "high school days"and the fact that they toured for the first time in years " officially"was a review in itself. I was confused but was with someone who knew the band in + out and explained the set to me. Very cool set up. \ The band did not sound any different than the records. Thousands sang every word. People were great and atmosphere was amazing. Would pay the same price to see these guys again. Please bring 'em back to the tri-state!
It was the best experience I have ever seen in my life, from the organisation to the good sound in the stadium, the band exceeded my expectations. It was a very intimate moment for the fans. A complete show.
What's the worst that I can say? Nothing. I have zero criticism. I love this band with all my heart, and the show they delivered blew my mind.
Fantastic. Stunning. Life changing. I think more concerts should shoot people live on stage and end with the band blowing up
I am a forever fan around from the get. MCR 🖤🖤🖤 blew the roof off MetLife literally 😉 under the beautiful full moon, for their homecoming, and even got a visit from the Mayor and key to the city. They closed w/ a tribute to Bon Jovi❣️ Who I saw them open for back in the day in Newark. The sold out stadium went nuts. They played w/ Thursday and Death Cab For Cutie. I haven't seen them in many years since the Electric Factory and boy did I miss seeing them live. I love the theatrics, G should be on Broadway! I just adore Gerard Way. I have seen them perform all over but when they're in NJ, it's always epic. If you can see them before the "Long Live The Black Parade"tour ends and they go back in hibernation, I highly recommend it. $1200. for 2 tickets was steep, but they put on a hell of a show and gave the fans our $$$ worth. They did the BP in it's entirety, some old, new, in between, all the fav's and even a cover. I am headed to Philly next. I hope it's not the last time I will see them live. Amazing concert, outstanding show, epic band...worth every penny! Long Live the Black Parade and MCR 🖤
This is one of the best experiences I've ever had in my life. Seeing MCR for the first time Live was such an electrifying experience for me as a fan of them when I was younger and they have helped me through rough times growing up. I will never forget that night and crossing it off my bucket list that I finally got to see them play Live. "Long Live"The Black Parade!
MCR put on such a sick show, wish we had closer seats!
Fantastic show GREAT setlist AMAZING energy the crowd was standing the whole time. Getting to see the WHOLE Black Parade album FRONT to BACK LIVE is something ever EMO/Punk rocker need to experience and the extra 10 song set with other hits and deep cuts from the other albums makes this a cannot miss experience 10/10 would ABSOLUTLEY see MCR again
This concert was amazing!! Everything I wanted and more. After waiting in the queue for over an hour, it was a Quick Look to find and buy the tickets.
This show was a dream come true. To see both DCFC and MCR in the pit was absolutely incredible! I hope to see them both again at MetLife.
A MCR concert is like a fever dream now. Seeing them play at Metlife Stadium and get the key to the city from the mayor was so great. The whole show was so good and I want to relive it over and over again. I hope they can tour again because I will never stop seeing them and being a life long fan.
I had a great time getting in and out of the venue. I wish the train details for travelers were more clear but the staff was very informative and patient. MCR and the openers were unworldly and I love seeing them in their home town venue.
Was a great concert. MCR was awesome!! High energy and amazing. Met life was good too the concession lines moved fast associates were so nice security was amazing. Was just a great time!
It was perfect, wonderful, cant wait to see them again, but gonna be hard. Jersey got mcr and them singing bon jovi, it can't get any better than that
Entire lineup was fantastic. Production value is well worth ticket price.
I am filled with sadness knowing that I’ll probably get to experience this show again. Thursday? Excellent. Death Cab? Phenomenal. MCR? Perfection. The entire show, start to finish, was the most exceptional live music experience that ever has existed and I am so lucky that I got to be there for it. Do yourself a favor, buy tickets if you can.
This was more than a rock concert, it was like My Chemical Romance turned The Black Parade into their own version of The Wall by Pink Floyd. There were actors, theatrical moments, an emperor, a dystopian future, lots of spaghetti, an opera singer, a demented clown, & a public execution... There is also a nuclear element going on & an amazing end to the show. I got chills multiple times, this was a 5 star production, & I work in the industry... I have seen a ton of concerts, this was hands down something special!
