My Chemical Romance are a rock band composed of lead vocalist Gerard Way, bassist Mikey Way and guitarists Ray Toro and Frank Iero. Formed in 2001 in New Jersey, MCR have become highly influential for their blend of rock, pop-punk and emo music along with unflinchingly open lyrics and theatrical live performances. Beginning with 2002’s I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love, MCR have released four studio albums, two live recordings and three compilations. The band unveiled their major label debut, Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge, in 2004 behind their first charting singles, “I'm Not Okay (I Promise),” “Helena” and “The Ghost of You.” In 2006, MCR’s third album The Black Parade reached a career-high No. 2 on the Billboard 200, while lead single “Welcome to the Black Parade” peaked at No. 9 on the Hot 100. After touring 2010’s Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, MCR did not perform together again until 2019, followed by a reunion world tour between 2022 and 2023. The band headlined Las Vegas’ When We Were Young Festival in 2024. In 2025, My Chemical Romance embarked on a tour in celebration of the 20th anniversary of their landmark third studio album, The Black Parade.

Perfect experience. Concert was amazing. 5/5 Ticket buying 1/5
This was one of the coolest concerts ive ever attended. It was like being at a concert but also a fully realized theatrical play. So. Freaking. Good.
Absolutely amazing show. Incredible talent combined with top notch production.
Honestly the best show I’ve ever have ever been to and probably will ever go to. It was seriously like watching a movie with a complete plot. I noticed towards the climax of the performance, while the band is still playing like crazy on stage, the crowd was so immersed people were just staring in awe. Only disappointment is that no concert will ever live up to the show that MCR put on.
I wasn’t aware of the theme of the show prior to arriving at Citizens Bank Park this past Friday. The first hint of something big were the images on the shirts at the merch booths - Soviet style uniforms and similar styled text font. The “Rules” and images broadcast on the screens prior to the show, really set vibe for what living under a dictatorship can entail. My 18 year old said “Dad, this is kinda scaring me.” I replied, “You should be scared, but also, just more aware of what’s happening in the country right now.” We looked up the Koposhka font translation key on our phones and decoded the messages. The 1930s-1940s imagery and design, the additional characters/costumes on the stage and the band’s perfect performance tied it all together. From the workers “clocking in” to being kidnapped off the stage by the government, All the while, the Phillies scoreboard showed a haunting first person perspective image, looking out through a barred prison window. Gerard flawlessly fronted the band and the production. I’ve never heard them sound better. Also, I’ve been going to concerts for over 40 years and never saw someone enjoying themselves on stage as much as Ray Toro. His smile was genuine and didn’t leave his face the entire time. The cello intermission was a fitting end to the Black Parade production everyone just witnessed. The follow up B stage performance was great with them pulling out hits and b-sides, but did have some sound issues that seemed to get better throughout the set. Overall, it was an amazingly powerful performance and I would love to see it again. Even if this tour is extended or returns to the PA/NJ area,, MCR MUST RELEASE this show commercially on Blu-Ray.
Flew from Ireland to Philly for this show and it did not dissapoint!!It was amazing from start to finish.Gerards vocals were on point. His screams were fantastic. The entire production was perfection and it was the best night of my entire life. The effort the band put into this show is top notch.I love these guys so much, this concert was life changing.
This band has a way of keeping me on my feet, screaming at the top of my lungs, and making me cry. I've loved this band since my youth, and will never stop. I never have a better concert experience than when I'm at an MCR show.
This was the most incredible show I've ever attended, they played almost 2.5 hours. If you like My Chemical Romance, you are going to love this tour.
I’ve wanted to see MCR for years, and this show was everything and more. I love them, and the message they give. I couldn’t recommend them more. It was SO hot out, and seeing them on stage, giving it their all, even with pyrotechnics 😭, icons
BEST.CONCERT.EVER. MCR FOREVER <3 <3 everything about it was life changing in the best way ever
What a show they sound even more amazing live I hope I get the chance to see them again one day
Awesome and theatrical production. It was unlike any other concert I've been to. Wishing I could go back and see them again.
Parking was fine the show was great but leaving was a nightmare and not organized enough. The venue needs a better way to manage traffic after the show. We were 5 miles away from the hotel and it took us an hour to get home and we had to break traffic laws to even make that happen.
Gerard Way is a legend to say the least. The opening act was Alice Cooper and what a show!!! Then, MCR took stage around 8:45 PM, and from start to finish it was incredible. To hear all your favorite songs from almost 20 years ago and still remembering all the words is quite the rush!
This show was absolutely amazing, couldn't have been any better. I really hope MCR will do more shows in the future. If they do, I will be there.
The show was absolutely incredible. From the set to the storytelling to the amazing performance by the band, I loved every minute. I sobbed out of sadness (Cancer). I cried during The Black Parade, just noticing all these people coming together out of love for this band and their music. I laughed at the things Gerard said on B stage. I got excited by the set list that included all the songs I was really hoping to hear on B stage (Headfirst for Halos, The Kids From Yesterday, Helena, I’m Not Ok and DESTROYA). It was a fantastic night that I won't soon forget (despite the extremely expensive tickets). I hope that there are more tours, hopefully featuring more songs from Bullets, Three Cheers and Danger Days.
The concert and immersive experience was incredible!
MCR themselves were awesome, the music was great and they sounded just like the album recording. I was impressed with their performance and they truly cared about the fans no doubt. The only reason for three stars is because I paid a good amount for my tickets just for the main stage to be completely blocked the entire show. The sound tower blocked the whole stage from my seats and it really took away from it. I was disappointed to not be able to watch the band from my own view and instead stare at the screens the whole Black Parade concert. If I wanted to stare at a screen I should have watched it online. I really wish there was more planning and consideration in the blind spots. I ended up moving and standing for the rest of the concert elsewhere because of how bad the seats were.
I walked away from this concert blown away. This is by far the best concert I've been to. It wasn't just the music-the band is natural and performing and story and they did not disappoint. The concert was next level and appreciate all the though that goes into. The decision on what to play on the main stage vs middle stage, song choice, costume choice, open-air venue choice....the band are true artists if you want to see an amazing performance, not just great music.
Although the venue was hot and a bit uncomfortable the actual music and experience was amazing . I had a great time despite the heat and loved every minute of the concert.
