  • Coldplay unforgettably awesome and humble in Atl!!

    by Mandy15 on 9/26/11PIEDMONT PARK - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

SO glad Music Midtown is back and I hope it returns in the future. Coldplay, as usual, put on one HELL of a show!!! Chris Martin was so humble and gracious to the Atlanta fans. I would highly recommend seeing Coldplay anytime.

  • The Black Keys made it worth every penny

Need more stages, more of a lineup, more organization at portajohns, and more portajohns.

The title says it all! Not to mention good food and drink.

  • Coldplay has met beyond my expectation!!

    by Coco220 on 9/26/11PIEDMONT PARK - AtlantaRating: 4 out of 5

The experience was beyond FUN! Loved the energy, fashionable people, food trucks, and etc. We were there from 1-12. Couldn't have asked for more!

  • Coldplay made the show

by stelunastar on 9/26/11PIEDMONT PARK - AtlantaRating: 4 out of 5

I can't claim to be a "fan" of The Postelles, Manchester Orchestra or The Black Keys, although I had heard them all at various other music festivals including Bonnaroo. I enjoy them. I can, however, claim to be a fan of Coldplay, traveling as far as Scotland to see them perform. They never disappoint! It was worth the 2 hour drive, shortened concert time, hundreds of annoying high school kids who apparently have never been away from their parents and felt the need to go wild, just to see Coldplay live again.

  • Awsome

by CinnamonGrl on 9/26/11PIEDMONT PARK - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

The whole thing was great. Great organization and crowd control, great vendors and plenty of them. The bands were awesome and I loved the two stages!! Coldplay rules!

  • Unforgettable indeed!

Very crowded and showed the love for Coldplay all over the world!

  • What a great line up and venue!

by Renfroe on 9/26/11PIEDMONT PARK - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

Really enjoyed local acts The Constellations and Manchester Orchestra! I loved how it was a smaller venue and could just simply walk back and forth between stages or go up the hill and watch in shade. Way to go Peter Conlin, thanks for bringing the Music Midtown tradition back to Atlanta!!!!!!

  • Coldplay puts on a epic show AS USUAL!

by Broody on 9/26/11PIEDMONT PARK - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

All bands were very into the Atlanta crowd. I just wish Atlantans would appreciate events like this more, they were'nt giving early band such as The Joy formidable, and Constellations enough credit! Those bands were hella awesome on Saturday! The Black Keys put on a soulful yet lively performance and I would ABSOLUTLEY see them again. Coldplay is one of my favorite bands and their shows always leave me breathless. Chris Martin is adorable and has so much appeal and energy as an artist. They are truly one talented mega-band.

  • Midtown Madness was insane!

by nasalcrooner on 9/26/11PIEDMONT PARK - AtlantaRating: 4 out of 5

The entire event was very well managed, especially the ease of availability of food and drinks. The switch from main stage to 2nd stage was very special.. never a dull moment for 5 hours on trot for me. Totally worth the $. Thank you!

  • BEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE

    by ilovecoldplay23 on 9/26/11PIEDMONT PARK - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

the black keys. coldplay. live. what could be better?!

  • by Anonymous on 9/26/11PIEDMONT PARK - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

Coldplay alone made the experience fantastic, but almost all the other bands I heard were great. The Black Keys were a little disappointing to me, but otherwise I enjoyed everything. You can hear the bands from anywhere in the park, so you don't need to squish yourself up to the front if you want to hear. Food and drinks were a little expensive, but that's just what you get at festivals like this.

  • Awesome day and event!

by artytheparty on 9/26/11PIEDMONT PARK - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

More music midtowns are needed!!!!! I loved the whole day and festival

  • Good Times!

by Anonymous on 9/26/11PIEDMONT PARK - AtlantaRating: 4 out of 5

Cold play stole the show! I also really enjoyed The Black Keys and Young the Giant. The venue (Piedmont Park) was awesome aside from the fact that they didn't have nearly enough restrooms and drinks were crazy expensive (but that's to be expected). Overall, had an amazing time with friends and some stellar bands.

The festival was solid, I would recommend adding more bands next year, maybe even another day.
