Mt. Joy on Tour

A five-piece indie-rock band from Los Angeles, Mt. Joy is known to give an impressive show and fans are highly anticipating their tour, which will span the United States. The 2022 tour will bring the same immersive show that fans know and love. The band is known for their incredible live sound, as well as their mesmerizing use of lights and visual effects. The tour is in support of their third studio album, 2022's Orange Blood.

Mt. Joy Live in Concert

Mt. Joy is an indie rock band based in Los Angeles by way of Philadelphia. The band features Matt Quinn on vocals and guitar, Sam Cooper on guitar, Sotiris Eliopoulos on drums, Jackie Miclau on keyboards, and Michael Byrnes on bass. The band was formed in 2016, releasing their first single, "Astrovan," recorded in Los Angeles by Quinn, Cooper and Byrnes.

The two original band members, Quinn and Cooper, met in highschool in Philadelphia. After parting ways for some time, the two reunited in 2016 in Los Angeles and began working on music right away. The pair recorded their first single, "Astrovan," with the help of future bandmate Byrnes, who they met on Craigslist, and Byrnes' roommate, producer Caleb Nelson. In 2017, Mt. Joy signed with Dualtone Records. Later that year, they released their self-titled debut album. One of the songs from the album, "Silver Lining," peaked at No.1 on the Billboard Triple A charts.

Mt. Joy's third album, Orange Blood, was released in 2022 featuring the singles "Lemon Tree" (which made the Top 10 on AAA radio and was hailed as a "next-level song" by NPR); "Evergreen"' the title track from the album; and "Bathroom Light." The accompanying music video for "Evergreen" also features a cameo from Creed Bratton from "The Office."

"We put so much love into this album," said Quinn in an interview with uDiscover Music. "My dream for this record is that it gives people a chance to be present and connect with something outside of the daily doom scroll." Catch Mt. Joy when they come to a city near you.

    Excellent, unique and convenient venue

by Britt on 10/8/23The Andrew J Brady Music Center - Cincinnati

My. Joy was my first concert at the Andrew J. Brady concert venue and it did not disappoint. The unique seating options there, combined with easy access to parking, downtown restaurants and bars made this a fun night out. The acoustics in the venue are great and I appreciate the variety that this venue provides in comparison with other concert venues in the city. Will be back in a few weeks for The Head and the Heart concert and I can't wait!

by Les on 10/1/23MGM Music Hall at Fenway - Boston

Please consume some veg before this show (shroom), because the visuals are absolutely unreal and begging for that. Band was phenomenal was always, loved the set list, they played Witness which they rarely play, and loved the double set!

    Everything I could have wanted

by Matt on 9/28/23Massey Hall - Toronto

Unbelievable show from this talented band. I wasn’t sure what to expect since I could not find information about an opening act anywhere, but was pleasantly surprised when they said they would be playing two full sets! Unreal. Massey Hall was also the perfect venue for this band. Large enough, but felt intimate at the same time.

    An Out of Body Experience

by Emmy Cook on 9/28/23Massey Hall - Toronto

Mt. Joy was the hands down the best concert I have ever been to. Them in Massey hall was a life changing experience. Their energy, the crowd, the music and visuals were all mind blowing. Even better than when I saw them open for the lumineers. I cannot describe how amazing they are at performing, you just have to go see them. I cannot wait until they are back again.

    Cool Venue

by Layla on 9/19/23Harrisburg University at Riverfront Park - Harrisburg

The venue was really nice (right by the water!) The music was amazing (as always). However, i think it could’ve been handled slightly better in terms of food and services like that. they were jumbled to the sides, and the lines were frequently crossing over the path where people would have to walk to get to the venue.

Amazing but USC students are very rude in the pit

by Colby on 9/17/23Township Auditorium - Columbia

Absolutely amazing! I loved every second of it and I wish I had gotten VIP tickets because I would have loved to be on the barricade the whole time. The people in the pit were very rude but it was only because of the area. Absolutely love all of the beautiful band members and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
