Welcome to the Moulin Rouge!
Baz Luhrmann's revolutionary film comes to life onstage, remixed in a new musical mash-up extravaganza. A theatrical celebration of truth, beauty, freedom and — above all — love, Moulin Rouge! is more than a musical; it is a state of mind.
How wonderful life is...at the Moulin Rouge.
Please note that due to the nature of live theater, we are unable to guarantee the presence of any particular cast members at a specific show. Thank you.
Amazing music, costumes, dancing, set, singing, etc.... Definitely one of my favorite Broadway shows!
We had really good seats very close to the stage and the show was fabulous!
Terrible hodge podge of nothing. Saw Ain’t too Proud and To Kill a Mockingbird days before. This one is terrible.
Paid 400 dollars per person to sit at a cabaret table that was ridiculously small. The theater also awarded some lottery tickets to people also in the cabaret area for a mere 40 dollars. That would not have been so bad if they actually had availability in the pit. Instead they were squeezed in making the seating even tighter. The seating situation ruined an otherwise great show. Incredible performers and non stop action. Just don’t waste your money sitting at a cabaret table.
Perfect seating for pre-show snd main show. 2nd time seeing - 1st w hubby - we truly L-O-V-E-D! The updated music score (frm the movie). Plus the incredible LIVE THEATRICAL MUSIC TALENT- Whhaaaat?! A great romantic and human moment, a perfect message! FREEDOM-BEAUTY-TRUTH & LOVE ❤️
For anyone going expecting for it to be 100% as the movie, it is not. It’s close enough (it’s my fav movie) and you won’t mind the adjustments to the storyline. Music: it has a lot of new known songs (gets everyone excited) but the originals are not necessarily kept as is. My main issue was with the tango scene (Roxanne). Strong, great voices. Amazing sets, costumes and lighting design. Lots of glitter, color and excitement. I’ve seen it twice already and would see it again.
This was the most beautiful piece of art I have ever seen. From the minute you walk into the theatre, to the time you leave, you will be entertained. This is a very special musical that does not come around very often. This show will have a similar run to Wicked and entertain audiences for decades. If you only see one show this year, make sure you see this one!!
Spectacular show! Highly recommend!! One of my favorite shows I’ve seen
This was great show. The entire cast (especially Karen Olivo and Aaron Tveit) were tremendous singers. We opted for the Mezzanine level (Row B) and they were really excellent seats that allowed us to take in the spectacular set and take great selfies too (although I would have preferred Row A). The music was great, the performers were all excellent dancers. My only disappointment was that the show didn't have a live orchestra. This was probably because of how eclectic the music was (everything from Nat King Cole to the latest Lady Gaga). One of the best Broadway shows I've seen in years.
Talk about "Must See" theater. This show was fantastic from start to finish. Very different from the film. Saging, lighting, music, The Cast!!!!!. Just a truly great time at the theatre and worth every penny!!!
Wasn’t sure what to expect but I knew it would be great. Well, it was more than great it was absolutely amazing. Music, dancing, cast ...... on and on! First play I’d return to
Better than expected. Very tasteful & comedic With great music!
My wife and I have attended over 45 Broadway/Off Broadway shows in the past few years.... we've only walked out of two. This was the second one. We left at intermission. It was truly THAT bad. With so many incredible shows on Broadway, avoid this one at all costs.
I’ve been looking forward to this show since it was announced to be opening previews in Boston, and finally being able to see it live was nothing more than incredible! I loved the show so so much, it was amazing and I’m so happy !
Beautiful Play with incredible actors. We didn’t want the play to end. If it wasn’t so expensive we would love to see again. ♥️
Wonderful experience great memories made. The show is very funny witty love the music Incorporated for the new generation Moulin Rouge fans. It was really nice at the theater kept reminding me about my show like a countdown so it got me extra excited to go.
Moulin Rouge was a feast for the senses, from the costumes, sets, music, dancing and storyline. I rarely see a play twice, but I would see this one again in a heartbeat!
I am a huge fan if the movie and when it became apparent that the play was going to differ I was worried that I would be disappointed. They completely won me over! The music, the actors, the sets, and the choreography were all top notch. I would not be more impressed. It was a fantastic show.
We had orchestra seating left row J, near the steps that led up to the stage. There were dancers right next to us. The seats were great just a few spots we missed things going because certain stage props were in the way or dancers but still worth every penny sitting there. I was impressed with the entire show from the moment we walked in until it ended.
Really good show. Cast and creative team did a really good job. Would recommend for other people to see
