My adult son took me to this for Mother's Day. He and I have seen a lot of musical theater over the years, including on Broadway. This show wowed us both. It had among the best musical arrangement, choreography, singing, and dancing we have ever seen. Both of us give it two hearty thumbs up. And, for my part, it was a GREAT way to spend Mother's Day!
This was a high-energy, entertaining show. Loved it.... had us dancing in our seats!
Can’t miss this show! What a talented group of performers! The show is exciting clever and heartbreaking. Even exhausted from a busy weekend not one yawn was had 😂
One of my favorite movies made into a fabulous Broadway show. The singing, costumes and unexpected humor were masterfully done. I highly recommend seeing it before its gone.
From the lighting to the amazing songwriting, choreography and costumes, this show was absolutely spectacular!! Each actor was superb!!! Five stars!!!!
The performance was amazing! I was familiar with the film and was pleasantly surprised by the changes made for the Broadway performance. Other audience members do seem to have forgotten basic etiquette (silence phones, no texting, conversations, singing along out loud) but even with those distractions, the show amazed.
First of all I saw the production with Conor Ryan, I can not say enough about this guy, he was amazing and his voice was outstanding. I know nothing about him but he could lead this production on Broadway. He is a star. With that said we had the understudy for Satine and there was zero chemistry between them. Im not sure it was all her fault as the Play story does not give them time to come together. And that was the problem with the show, the story is very flat. Not sure why but you did not care what happens. The music is great . Both opening numbers for act 1 and 2 were amazing. But the flow was terrible. Fun time, but a lack caring. I could have just listened to Conor all night and been happy.
Ended up getting a flat tire on the way, then ran into Polish Constitution Day Parade traffic and road closures, so we missed the show. Highly disappointing. Had I known about the parade in the area, I would have left home way earlier. I wish there was some kind of notification about area happenings that could impact travel to events. I did purchase event insurance and filed a claim, but don’t know if it’s going to be covered yet.
A high energy performance with current generational songs and comic relief laughter that carries you through the entire show!
The colors and costumes were magnificent! Conor Roth as Christian was superb, from his presence to his incredible singing. The show was a delight for the eyes and ears!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Moulin Rouge. The songs and performances were fantastic!
I am so glad I splurged and saw this show. It exceeded my expectations. Fabulous performances and the set wow! The emotions I n the second act where so strong. I’m glad they ended on a audience participation high note. I could of definitely came back for the next show. As per location be sure to buy the parking pass is you drive. It would of saved me $. I wasn’t sure when the parking was so I hesitated. Learned my lesson buy the pass offered! Also cell phone reception is patchy near the theater. I’d print my ticket as a back up.
First time in a long time that I’ve said I wanted to “see it again!” Great music! Colors! Voices! Dancing! It’s the whole package!!
Kinda bummed I spent a couple hundred dollars to do this. When I’m focused on everyone but the main characters because they blend in to the crowd and half of the music I loved from the movie was replaced with overplayed mainstream music, I couldn’t stand to stay. I left an hour and a half into the play because it was just disappointing and getting my nails done was more appealing than staying to have the rest of the show ruined. I’ll stick to other broadway plays and art. So sad because I LOVE Moulin Rouge.
This was a great show - had you dancing in your seat from curtain up to curtain down. The costuming and staging were amazing. Highly recommend.
Didn’t want the performance to end. Loved, loved, loved it. Great costumes, beautiful scenery, best music….so very good. I didn’t know anything about this ahead of time and can’t believe I almost missed it. So good, did I already say that?
Definitely not what I expected, but that’s what kept us intrigued! Great voices, everyone sounded great.
Ever. I went twice because of how amazing all of it was. Best ambience. Best music. Most talented cast. Was transformative. Feel like I was in Paris. Recommend highly.1
This was such a disappointment..Christian and Satine looked so different than the original and the songs were changed to more updated pop songs…it was reinvented and did not need to be…Ziegler even made out on stage with a man…very LGBTQ friendly if that’s for you…
