The stage/choreography/costumes/music were exquisite. The actors were phenomenal. I saw the production 3 times and left wanting to see it just one more time! Bravo to all the great creative minds, talented musicians, dancers, singers, actors, I was completely captivated the entire show and still thinking about it today. Thank you Moulin Rouge!
I love musicals. And this one didn't disappoint. Some have criticized the substitution of current music for the original but I thought it was brilliant. And performed perfectly.
The singing and dancing was outstanding. The way the music was woven into the story was beyond anything I expected. Awesome job!

Second time I saw this! We had 2nd row front and center! These actors are top notch! They cried real tears! Put their heart and soul into their roles. Loved the music, set design, costumes and everything! My new favorite play! Even better the second time! And the suite service was awesome!
One of the best musicals I have ever seen. It had everything, fantastic story, incredible actors, incredible songs and amazing voices, perfect costuming and scenery and it pulled you in emotionally. I loved everything about this show and would see it again and again! Bravo!
I have been to most musicals and this one was good, but I felt like personally I like other musicals better, this was entertaining but not at the level of so many other performances.
I was overwhelmed with the staging and effects from the time I sat down to enjoy the show…best I’ve seen in 25 years’
It was a beautiful production but it focused on how clever the use of music was and forgot about the love story. It could have been 5 stars but theater is more that spectacle. Let’s go back to the basics…tell a great story.
The stage was beautiful we love the red the characters were relatible and and believable. I really enjoyed the show.
Excellent production, Broadway quality waited 45 minutes at will call entered theater 5 min. before start will call needs to be better organized, people still in line when I left. was the 2 pm matinee on 5/11
This show was the best show that I have ever seen. As an avid theater goer, I was excited to see that Moulin Rouge was coming to Chicago. The cast/crew and band were phenomenal. This show was so good that I bought a ticket to see the show again during intermission prior to its departure from Chicago. I forced my non-theater loving boyfriend to go to the show and he danced in his seat the whole time. If I could see this show for a third time I would. You will not find a more talented cast of individuals on the stage. For a night of unadulterated fun, see this show.
Seen Moulin Rouge Broadway show in Chicago. I have nothing but good things to say about the show! The music was amazing and loved every minute of it! Superb performance! One of the best Broadway shows that I have ever seen.
From walking into the theatre to the beautiful set to the fabulous cast and set to the outstanding orchestra, the show was great! We had a great time!
If you saw the Nicole Kidman movie years ago then you'll appreciate this update show all that much more. The Acting, Choreography, including set design was constantly amazing us! But, the real star was the music! We used the word for the play as a whole>SENSATIONAL! It was great how closely the play followed the movie. We hope it will be held over so we can see it again! Don't miss this!!

Great intertwining of modern music into this musical set a long time ago. Amazing cast who’s harmonies were always perfect. The sets were beautiful and some of the best we have ever seen! Didn’t know what to expect after seeing the movie so many years ago but Moulin Rouge is one of the best musicals we have ever seen!
