Motown the Musical (Touring) Tickets

The show started a little slow, but soon became iconic! So many of the characters had tremendous acting and singing skills - especially the women that played Diana Ross and the boy that played Michael Jackson!

The show was so entertaining and fun! However; I would have loved to have seen a bit more of The Temptations and The Jackson5; especially Michael. There was too much Diana Ross; she ‘hogged’ the whole show!!!

I thought is was a really GREAT Show. I'm sorry that it will never be back to Detroit. I would see it again. I learned very much about Berry Gordy. It almost could have been THE BERRY GORDY STORY. It was not only about the music, but what else was happening in the world and America.

Great music, great energy. Very enjoyable. We’d go see this again.

Loved experiencing the storyline of Barry Gordy and Motown's glory days. Makes me long for the class that used to populate our airwaves instead of the stuff they're pushing us on now.

Was expecting music and dancing. What I got was a true story outline of Motown history. The vocals, dancing and sets were A MA ZING!!!!

The Motown Musical was the best show I've attended thus far. The music of Motown is timeless and spans numerous generations. There were people there from various races, and ages and we all had one thing in common, the music of Motown and we had a ball. The actors are gifted and engaging and some of the best singers ever! The story line was beautifully written and portrayed. The costumes were nothing short of AMAZING! I took my sister and we both agree that this was the BEST DAY EVER!!! Loved it!!!!

Excellent evening with my wife. Great music, good story and excellent production. Brought back many good memories and a few tears. Highly recommended !!!!!!!!!

This was my third time seeing the Motown Review, the first time was in New York, and twice in Detroit. I enjoyed it every time. Each time I took a different family member and they enjoyed it as well. If you love Motown music it is a must see show.

We went to see Motown the Musical in New York when the play opened on Broadway. Saw it again in California. And again in Detroit. The play we witnessed in Detroit, was by far the best production, the most lively and entertaining. The play has truly evolved from a play about Berry and Diane to an inclusive play about all (if not presented, then mentioned) it's Artist and participants that put Motown/Hitsville U.S.A on the world map. Yes it was Berry's dream but it was the talent that made Motown a cut above all the rest. And to this day, it still is. The play will not disappoint you from beginning to end.

The music was great and sparked so many memories. The way history was woven into the play was masterful, at several points I teared up. The only complaint was the theater was too hot. I began sweating and had to remove my sport coat. The air did kick in later.

This was by far one of the BEST shows I've ever seen. From the first moment, your heart is filled with the wonderful music of the 50s 60s 70s. The story of Barry and his triumphs is amazing, heartfelt and the characters were terrific. HIGHLY RECOMMEND - you won't be sorry.
