Music was great and dancing, but I hate the liberal politics being pushed when I am there to be entertained, from 2 different people the play was changed from when they saw it in Memphis adding freedom Riders and made the song war seem like civil rights song rather than Vietnam protest Dirty dancing play also had the same liberal agenda and freedom riders. I don’t think I will be attending another play again,

We learned quite a bit of the life of Berry Gordy. The singers were very talented and the sets were beautiful. I highly recommend this event.
This so was so good and took you through the history of not only Motown but what was happening in the world during that great music era. Such a moving scene when they heard of Dr. King's assassination and the music that followed had such power. The cast was great and the dancing and singing took you through memory lane. The actress who played Diana Ross was spot on and had the true essence of Diana, her voice was great and since I seen Diana Ross live two years ago felt she captured her so well. The young man who played the young Michael Jackson had a great voice and has to be having the time of his life with this show. The actor who played Barry Gordy had an amazing voice and so did so many others in this show. I would go see this show again and again. Wanted to get up and dance with the Motown beat. Thank you Barry Gordy for giving the world the gift of great music!!!!
Truly loved the show! The music took me back to my childhood. Highly recommend it Only complaint was the seating had no leg room and was in pain until intermission when I was able to get up and move to a different seat.
Wonderful show that kept my attention, told a story plus the great music performed by extremely talented people.
The road show of Motown was amazing! The ensemble is so fine-tuned and works so well together! The musical tracked the rise of music-in-our-lives from the 1920's to present day. It was memorable and the time went by too quickly. Iconic performers were so well acted, that it was believable they were the originals. I wish I could see this several more times. The lighting and set changes were flawless and moved from one time-frame/set to the next very smoothly.
A taste of classic Motown history, politics of the times, and amazing musical numbers. Performers / Singers were believable and fun to watch / hear. Story kept up with the changes in-and-out of band members, like Eddie Kendricks in-and-out of the Temps as time progressed in the story. Fun! Highly recommended.
This was definitely the best musical I've ever seen! The singing was just incredible. I'm not a huge fan of musicals in general but this was such fun and included all the music I grew up listening to. I smiled all the way through it.
A really entertaining show with all the great Motown hits. The entire cast was very good but the actor who played Gordy Barry in this production was incredible. Unfortunately, the theatre where we saw it had a false fire alarm go off 10 minutes into the show and the entire audience had to be evacuated for 15-20 minutes. Very disruptive. I've heard this has happened here quite a few times - they really need to get that fixed.
Good story and great performances and talent by all involved. Really worth the price of the ticket for this one!
This production was top notch. Very professional. So much talent. Great singing and dancing. Loved all the songs. Had a smile on my face the whole time

The entire cast was excellent. The music was sensational. It held my attention from the moment the show started until it unfortunately ended. The show truly captured an iconic time in music and history. No one of the boomer generation should miss this show!
The cast of MOTOWN Musical is phenomenal! By far thee best musical I have seen thus far. I loved every minute of it.
I didn't know what to expect from Motown, the Musical, but it was really good and enjoyable. The cast was fantastic (acting and singing) and the show had just the right amount of music mixed in (generally not whole songs, but enough to bring back memories). The theater was easy to get in to (and out of), was comfortable and had a really good sound system. The set was amazing with high quality moving screens that made for quick transitions and good special effects. Bravo to the performers who *became* the stars from the past they represented right in front of our eyes!
This was the best show I have seen in many years. The actors act and sound like the real thing. The child that plays Michael Jackson was exceptional (Chase Phillips) and so was the rest of the cast! It is a must see show. Don't let this one go by!
