  • godsmack kicks it

by pumper on 7/22/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 4 out of 5

loved what i saw of drowning pool (got to see "let the bodies hit the floor"!) as i showed up late from working long hours. theory of a dead man was great too. godsmack totally kicked it, very professional and drew the crowd in to the show. i will drive however long to see them again. motley crues show started out top notch with the dr. feelgood stage and show, but they lost me with the cheesy early 70s type graphics on the screeens and the volume was so high things were reverberating and a lot of the music was lost in it. i did enjoy my faves like "kickstart my heart" , but not sure i'd go see them again. too many rock ballads, but that's my personal taste, i hate rock ballads no matter who does them.

  • GODSMACK ROCKS!!!!

Godsmack stole the show! I saw Motley Crue's Dr. Feelgood tour at the Richfield Collesium 20 years ago. I'm a long time Crue fan...but Godsmack stole the show. Tell the Crue to fire whomever did the video for them. That video for Kickstart My Heart and Dr. Feelgood was the best they could come up with??? Vince did look good...not all fat like he did when Saints of Los Angles was released. I was just disapointed with them. I thought Godsamck kicked ass! I wish they'd have played longer. The crowd was into them. Sully sounded awsome!

  • Amazing!

Crue Fest 2 was really enjoyable. It was a long night before Motley Crue took stage but it was all worth it! The opening was unforgettable and they rocked the house!!

  • CrueFest 2 @ Blossom

by Beebs09 on 7/22/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 5 out of 5

This show rocked! Crue was amazing, as expected. Mick gave me chills on the guitar. Tommy & Nikki were major hot as always. Vince had his voice & presence, nothing changes there. Godsmack, mmmm Sully on the drums with Shannon.....my neck is still stiff from bangin around! Charm City Devils were ok, haven't heard much of them before yesterday. Drowning Pool kicked ass. Theory was good, not too crazy about them live. First time I've seen em live though, could've been the sound but I didn't think they sounded good in person. Definitely can't wait to see them again next year, if they do it again.

  • Cruefest 2009 rocked blossom

by shamrock1225 on 7/22/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 4 out of 5

despite the rain the lineup of bands was great. i took three young teenage boys and they had a blast. the crowd actually was a nice mix. not too crude. the sets were cool and Godsmack and the Crue rocked.

  • Motley Crue never disappoints!

by GeoII on 7/22/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 5 out of 5

If you want to see a true rock and roll live show, you can't go wrong with Motley Crue. A lot of people complained about doing Dr. Feelgood in its entirety. I prefer to look at it as getting to see songs performed live that we haven't see in 20 years. The musicianship was excellent and Vince Neil sounded better than he has in the last two previous tours.

  • GODSMACK stole the show

by 1977ad on 7/22/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 4 out of 5

CCD was great, Drowning Pool was great, Theory was awesome, Godsmack tore the house down, The Crue however just managed to drown all there music with a rediculous amount of distortion, but overall the show was awesome

  • Motley Crue is still fantastic

by yrik on 7/22/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 4 out of 5

I wasn't impressed with all the bands but Godsmack and the Crue were worth the price of addmission.

  • Crue Fest 2

by Cruefan2 on 7/22/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 5 out of 5

I loved the entire show, although I do not like Drowning Pool, they could of picked another band for their slot. Motley Crues performence was awesome, they are doing the entire Dr. Feelgood album from start to finish and it awesome and fun to see and hear them do that album, the guys seem to have fun doing the album as well as the other songs they do. The stage set up for Feelgood is amazing.

  • motley crue and godsmack rocked the stage

I went to see Cruefest 2 7-21-09 and must say i see why Motley Crue is one of the best damn bands around. they still have what it takes to rock the crowd. I also will say Godsmack not supporting any new music put on one hell of a show also. Sully is one of the best frontmen of all time.

  • Awesome

by ohiomomma on 7/22/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 5 out of 5

I thought the entire festival was awesome and a blast. All the bands put on a great show. The rain sucked but the concert was kickass. Godsmack is my favorite band so of course they were awesome but everyone else was good too.

  • Crue Fest 2

by cocheese on 7/22/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 4 out of 5

Crue Fest 2 wa a great show. It was well worth the money. Opening bands were great especially Theory of a Deadman and Godsmack. The new band Charm City Devils is Definately worth getting there at the opening of the show! I dont think this was quite as good of show as last years, that's why the 4 stars...but still would not miss it.

  • cruefest 2 Rocks!

by skidz on 7/22/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 5 out of 5

Crue fest 2 was a great show! All the bands gave it to us! I Recommend this show!

  • Godsmack rocked the house.

by mzlin on 7/22/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 4 out of 5

Good show. Drowning Pool was good. I don't think Theory of a Deadman is cut out for a big stage. They are a small club band. Not a memorable performance at all! Godsmack was on top of tneir game. They put on a great show. Motley Crue was very disappointing. The sound was definitely not good. I think Vince Neil voice is gone. It seemed like the band is stuck in the eighties.

Was not impressed with " the crue" at all this year- did not like the setlist and they sounded really off. The rest of the show was AWESOME! Drowning Pool sounded good, Theory was great, and Godsmack rocked the house! All the opening bands made the show worth it.

  • cruefest

by luckydon on 7/22/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 3 out of 5

Crue as always sounded muddy & outta tune. Vince Neil was better than usual, though.Godsmacks set was way to short.

  • Crue stepped it up!!!

by OldSchoolCrue on 7/22/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 5 out of 5

I saw Cruefest and the Saints tour and last night that was not the same band up there. They totally looked into it and having fun. Vince sang through the whole show and involved the crowd only the usual a singer would. After Godsmack amazed the crowd with an awesome performance I wondered how disappointing Crue would be. They sure did not disappoint. They played Dr. Feelgood cover to cover and the sound was great. That was the Crue of old.

  • Godsmack was UNBELIEVABLE!!!

by Harp on 7/22/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 5 out of 5

I went to Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls last night 7/21/09 and Godsmack with all of their band members over the age of 40 puts on one of the best shows I have seen to date. Motley Crue was average compared to them with Vince Neil nor singing all the words to his songs but overall for their band members who some are 50 and Vince Neil and Tommy Lee almost being 50 they still do put on one hell of a show after all them years. But if you are a diehard Godsmack fan like me and get a chance to go see Crue Fest 2 by all means get tickets because their show is awesome. I cannot wait for 2010 when they return to my area cause you can bet I will be at the show!!! Sully...Robby....Tony and Shannon please keep coming back to Ohio we love you guys!!!!

  • The Crue always delivers!

by Stoli34 on 7/22/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 5 out of 5

When Motley Crue takes the stage, they always deliver! It was so awesome to hear all the songs from Dr. Feelgood live. Then they threw in other favorites like Wild Side, Home Sweet Home, Primal Scream and Girls, Girls, Girls. I've been a fan for many, many, many years and I always have a great time at their concerts. They know how to take control of the stage and the crowd and put on an unbelievable show time after time. I do have to say that this is definitely one of their more tasteful shows that I've seen. I always look past things like the boobie cam and all the devil stuff because I really enjoy their music and stage presence. I was very happy that it was pretty much all about the music and rock'n out!! A big T-H-A-N-K-S to The Crue for putting on another awesome show!! Hope to see you at Crue Fest 3. Oh yeah.........I was so glad to see Godsmack again, that was a long 2 years!!

  • Godsmack rocks

by saucey2 on 7/22/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 4 out of 5

The rain gave out just before main bands. Did not get there early enough myself but heard that drowning pool was good. I was looking forward most to hear Godsmack and was not disappointed. sound was pretty awesome even in the lawn. Motley crue was ok, too many plain new songs for my taste. WOODOO!
