  • Motley Crue is the greatest hair metal band!

by firebirdbaby on 7/22/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 5 out of 5

I first saw Motley Crue for the Girls Girls Girls tour. I have been to many concerts since but they have always been my fav band to see in concert. Last year I took my then 16 year old daughter to Cue fest 1. She loved it! So of course we went to this years Fest! Just amazing! We can't wait for Crue Fest 3!

  • CRUEFEST 2 - WOW!

by Flash419 on 7/22/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 5 out of 5

CRUEFEST 2 ROCKED! Charm City Devils started the night rocking, and Drowning Pool followed and did not disappoint. Theory of a Deadman was next, then Godsmack hit the stage.. WOW! Absolutely awesome set... 100% full on hard rock band. The dualing drums solo in the middle of their set was amazing. Then came the CRUE... doing the 20 year aniversary of Dr. Feelgood. I was there for the Dr. Feelgood tour and the boys can rock it out as well as they did back then. Played the Album start to finish, then switched the set, and started into the classics.. Shout, Primal Scream, Home.... Awesome show. My only complaint was there was no encore... with all their hits it would have been easy to find a few more songs to play. Hopefully once the kinks are ironed out for the set changes between acts they'll have more time to add a few more songs. Again... GREAT SHOW!

  • Great show with a few EXCEPTIONS

by XnOT on 7/22/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 4 out of 5

After last years Crue Fest with a killer line up I thought how could they out do them selfs. Well they did. With the addition of Godsmack !!! Realy, Godsmack a head liner them selfs. I thought WOW I cant miss this for the world. I felt I best be in the best seats in the house for this, so i hooked up with the VIP pack wich included a few extra perks and a seat up close and personal for $240..... I knew this was the way to go. Concidering I have grown up being a big Crue fan, and the fact that Godsmack is THE HARDEST ROCKING BAND IN THE WORLD how could i go wrong. Well i must say Crue was a good show, would of loved to hear Smokin In The Boys Room or songs like Helter Skelter, but to hear the full Dr. Feelgood, one of my favs, was great. Godsmack.... well what can i say, they stole the show !! No disrespect to the Crue, but Godsmack is still a head line band alone !!! I do have a draw back exception to the whole experiance, the pit seating. Not only was the pit seating not available at time I purchased my tickets, they went for $95 plus fees (around $110 total), but I payed a good price to have BEST OF HOUSE seats. No they dont get the poster or other perks, but they did get the best seats in house. They packed them in so tight if there pants fell down they couldnt pull them up...lol .... All in all it was a great show....

  • Crue Fest 2, The best night of my life!

by Dbrogs on 7/22/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 5 out of 5

It started out unbelivable from Charm City Devils. then heavy metal drowning pool, theory opened with a Crutch! Godsmack's drum off was sweet, then waiting for motley to take stage was worth the wait!. Kicking off with top to bottom Dr. Feelgood. ending with Girls.! The second was all good bands the best was Rev theory. they got alot of potental!

  • still worth seeing

by fuzzyj on 7/22/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 4 out of 5

with a 2nd stage added and a much weaker main stage line up than last year i really wasnt sure what to expect.the 2nd stage bands were hit and miss with rev theory being the standout as they were excellent.the early bands on the main stage seemed more like snoozefest than cruefest.charm city devils had very bad sound,i couldnt tell if they were good or not.there wasnt much change for drowning pool,a couple of songs got the smaller early crowd going.theory of a deadman were too light for this bill but the 12 year old girls seemed to like them, consider them a good time to hit the 2nd stage with bands playing at the same time as main stage.godsmack were excellent, very enjoyable with most of the crowd now in attendance.motley crue as usual blew the roof off, great stage show, female backup singers.with them doing dr feelgood from start to finish it was nice to hear songs they have never done live before.on this night though no encore and no looks that kill ,a song i would have loved to hear.i went for the crue and they delivered plus i found in rev theory a band that i would see again.overall a good time.

  • Cruefest 2 Northeast Ohio Show

by Mobslinger on 7/22/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 5 out of 5

Wow! Thats all I can say! I was unsure what this would be like, but every band put on a killer performance and Motley Crue's performance of Dr. Feelgood, the entire album was incredible! I have seen them four times in the past year and this was, by far, the best performance!

  • Motley ROCKED!

by cruegirl32 on 7/22/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 5 out of 5

Motley Crue put on a fantastic show...>LOVED the stage set, thought the band looked like they were having a great time, just a fun night all around!!!

  • The Crue Boo!

by AmazonAmy on 7/22/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 1 out of 5

The Crue seemed like they were going thru the motions, not much spark. The graphics on the large screen(s) were LAME! Either put the band up there so us minions in section 34 can see them, or put on what they had at the other shows. Just because it's not appropriate for kids, doesn't mean the adults should have nothing, & I mean nothing, to see. Godsmack was good, but condensed. It seems when you put too many bands on the schedule, it becomes " a medley of their hits," instead of them getting into the songs. Didn't know we'd have to stand in the rain to see the openers on the Monster parking lot stage. So much for getting pavilion seats. Blossom Music Center just continues to be a disappointment. $8.00 for a bottle of beer, $11.00 for a hotdog combo, I mean seriously! All these places need to cut back on the expensive food & drink BS! People will get drunk whether you charge an arm & a leg for alcohol or not. Once again, the responsible people in society have to live by rules made because of the irresponsible ones.

  • Wow! They were WOW!

by Jessicoomama on 7/22/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 5 out of 5

I must say Motley puts on such a great show and they opening was awesome!! The biggest surprise was Godsmack though. Wow! I didn't realize how amazing they really are! Awesome show!! The whole thing!!

  • CrueFest Was Awesome

by CrazyBeautiful23 on 7/22/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 4 out of 5

Had A Great Time at the Show. Godsmack in my opinion Stole the Show with their Drum Solo. Apart from the Crappy Weather, and Ridiculous Prices for food and Alcohol it was Fun.

  • Great ShoW!

by cjermont on 7/22/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 5 out of 5

The show is a must see for the year! I love Godsmack and they can really put on a show! I might have to see this one again!

  • godsmack was awesome

by saxon on 7/22/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 4 out of 5

godsmack was great they went on and kicked butt. When motley crue came on i had doubts on if they would beat godsmack well i was right they could not follow godsmack. But they were still great they played the whole feelgood album which is one of my favorites there was still no dissapointment exept for the lack of an encore. It also took a lot of time to set up for some parts of crue.

  • Crue still kicks!

by OHgirl on 7/22/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 4 out of 5

Whichever TV entertainment reviewer said that Tommy, Vince and the boys didn't have it anymore better go check into getting hearing aids! I saw them 20+ years ago and can tell you they are still rockin like the old days. The only neutral thing I have to say is that I REALLY would have liked to have heard more classic Crue from the different albums of the 80's and 90's. Their decision to play Dr. Feelgood from start to finish didn't leave much time for other mega hits; they should have left out some of the lesser listened to songs. I got to hear 2 out of 3 of my non Dr. favorites at the end though! Stage show, lighting and effects were awesome. Keep jammin Crue!

  • Crue Fest 2 is a MUST!!

by REVT on 7/22/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 5 out of 5

Crue. Fest. 2. Crue Fest 2. What an AMAZING experience! Several of the bands in the lineup, including Motley Crue, I had seen prior to this show. This was my first Crue Fest experience, as I regrettably missed the first. However, it will NOT be the last. As long as Crue Fest continues, I'll continue showing up. Every band on main stage had enormous amounts of talent and energy, and a deep respect for the band putting them on stage. Besides Crue themselves, Godsmack is the best show you will see in the lineup. Sully Erna is amazingly talented and the atmosphere of the show is unbelievable. Drowning Pool and Theory of a Deadman aren't bad either! As far as the Monster Energy stage, the only band that seemed even remotely memorable was Rev Theory. This band is easily one of my favorites around and they put on a great live show. As for the headliners, the show starts and ends with a band.. literally. The first time I saw Motley Crue was at Rock on the Range 2009, and they were mind blowing. I hadn't known much about the band before that, other than their popular hits, but after seeing them in concert once I knew I had to see them again. Crue Fest 2 was everything and more than I could have expected. Seeing them perform the entire Dr. Feelgood album on top of their other hits is an awesome thing. Definitely a must see!

  • Awesome show!

by Ash412 on 7/22/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 4 out of 5

Drowning Pool, Theory of a Deadman & Godsmack opened before Crue - Godsmack was the best out of all of them - they were amazing! I'm a big Theory of a Deadman fan, but they weren't too great live, but still enjoyed them...Crue was AWESOME. The sets were really cool and songs were great. They put on a great show! We had an awesome time!

  • Godsmack was great!!!

by ThePigger on 7/22/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 4 out of 5

Godsmack stole the show! Don't get me wrong Crue was good but Godsmack always sounds so great live. Drum solo was great as well! Definitely a must see show!

  • Great show

by rcs88 on 7/22/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 4 out of 5

This was a great show but not the best. I was looking forward to drowning pool but they played before theory of a deadman which surprised me. godsmack was terrific. Motley Crue was good but did not play girls girls girls or live wire. They did play the entire Dr. Feelgod album which they had not played in 20 years. Saw the Crue once before and i thought that one was better.
