  • Crue was great. Vince Neil has great voice!

by doboy1 on 7/24/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 4 out of 5

Crue Fest 2 was very entertaining. All bands sounded good but Motley Crue totally rocked it! Vince Neil sounds just as good as he did 20 years ago. Blossom is a great venue to see a concert. My only complaint is the drink prices. $10 for a beer? Ridiculous!

  • Crue Fest 2 was great!

Had a really good time despite the rain during the beginning! Would go again!

  • Godsmack was awsome!!!!!!!

by Cripit on 7/24/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 4 out of 5

Godsmack rocked!!! But I feel as if The Crew was just there to sing their songs and get out of there. They did not put on a very good show. Last year was way better.

  • Crue Fest!

by CrueFest on 7/23/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 3 out of 5

Theory of a Deadman was great. GodSmack was awesome! Motley Crue....what happened! Last years show from Motley Crue was amazing! Energy....great production...a little R rate but that is fine by me I did not have my kids with me. Parents leave your kids at home! Concerts are for teenagers and adults...not 10 year old kids. I am was so shocked at the lack of production and energy for this years performance by Motley Crue. I am not sure if they were sick or what but it was not good at all.. Sorry guys love ya but it was a bad show. We left early and I have never done that for a Motley Crue Concert.

  • Motley Crue was great!

by BellaNikki on 7/23/09The Arena at Southeastern KY Agricultural and Expo Complex - CorbinRating: 5 out of 5

This was my second time seeing the Crue this year. I saw them in Nashville in February, both shows were great, but the show in Corbin was a little better. The stage was kind of plain, but they rocked it! They did all my favorites, and I got a Nikki Sixx pick. Other than having to stand out in the rain in the line to get in, and getting soaked, I had a great time. Would see them over and over again.

  • godsmack was amazing

  • CrueFest 2009

by tgadosik on 7/23/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 3 out of 5

OK - I was really disappointed that Vince Neil couldn't remember half the word to the earlier music. I was VERY disappointed that they ended so abruptly - no encore, just goodnight! I went last year and they were much better! On a better note - Godsmack ROCKED! I will definately see them next year. I will go back to CrueFest just for the experience and hope for a better show next time.

Theory of a Deadman just does not belong - everything else was amazing!

  • Motley Cure could have been better

by JewelsAkron on 7/23/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 3 out of 5

Godsmack Rocked! Motley Cure could have been way better. I heard so many people who were leaving the concert say the same thing.

  • Motley is Amazing

by Crueheadchick on 7/23/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 5 out of 5

I liked most of the bands at Cruefest, but in truth I was only there for the Crue! Motley Crue always knows how to put on a good show, and I wouldnt miss it for the world! They dont miss one detail. Even the stage crew were wearing Dr. scrubs and Dr. coats. Bottom line it was amazing. I sang along with every single song fists in the air and wanted more when it was over. I cant wait till my next Cruefest experience!!!

The show was great. Best combination of bands. Just an overall good show. They all put alot into their sets. The only thing that sucked was the rain but at least I was in the pavilion.

  • I was blown away at Cruefest

by wendyluvssixx on 7/23/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 5 out of 5

OMG........went to the show in Cleveland and gotta say that Cruefest was the BEST concert that I have ever seen and I have been to ALOT of concerts in my 45 years!! I have seen the Crue numerous times and this time was totally off the charts!! Everyone was totally at the top of their game and it will be a night that I will NEVER forget!! Basically got the tickets to see the Crue (and Godsmack) but all the bands were great!! I gotta go again so I am gonna try to get tickets to the Pittsburg show too!!!

  • Toned down Crue

by cbjfan97 on 7/23/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 3 out of 5

Where was the excess and mayham? Godsmack sounded awesome and the drum battle was fantastic. Motley Crue was a big disappointment, they sounded good but I believe they are taming down their act and they skipped out on an encore. Disappointing.

  • Godsmack made the show!

by DrBob1Feelgood on 7/23/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 4 out of 5

If you like a variety of bands, this is the show. Drowning pool with their new lead singer sounded like the old and they ended with their hit "Bodies" that started the rocking. Theory kept things going with their many hits but of course they are a little softer. In between these sets, the second stage was had Cavo and some band w/o a backdrop. It was a nice way to bide time between bands on the main stage. But the highlight was Godsmack! They are back! Excellent energy and they had dueling drum sets. If made the show. Crue was a little disappointing. They started strong w/ a great staging of Dr Feelgood but the show went down from there. Vince sounded like a chipmunk on Helium. But Mick was his always performance. Overall, a show that should not be missed if a fan of any of these bands and a joy to see others.

  • Crue Fest Rocked!!!

by archerchic on 7/23/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 5 out of 5

While Motley Crue can't seem to perform too great anymore the rest of the bands were Fantastic! Godsmack, Drowning Pool, Theory of a Deadman had the place rocking!!! Crue did perform WAY BETTER than last year..

  • LONG WAIT

by tewtwo on 7/23/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 3 out of 5

This is not against the bands, but the sound quality was very poor. Either the bass was to high, drowning out the vocals, or the microphone was squealing. It didnt seem like the sound tech had any hearing what so ever. The wait time between Godsmack and Motley was almost an hour, this was completely unacceptable.

  • The Crue still rule.

by 40Rock on 7/22/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 5 out of 5

I really enjoyed the show. This is my second Cruefest and everyone did an outstanding job. I was really impressed with Drowning Pool. They really know how to rock the crowd. Even better than them were Godsmack. I've seen them before and they still know how to entertain. They played loud and hard just like you would expect them too. When it was time for Motley Crue to come out the crowd went wild. The music sounded awesome. They all did an amazing job.

  • Crue fest 2

by ChokedUp on 7/22/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 3 out of 5

Opening acts of Theory of a Deadman and Godsmack were awesome choices...music choices great and music and vocals terrific. Battle of the drums in Godsmack totally amazing and recommended to be seen in person when they themselves tour in 2010. Motley Crue too loud and could not understand ANY of the lyrics and a total letdown after Godsmack performance. I am not a smoker or drinker but love awesome metal when performed well and Crue was not performing well at all. Totally suffocated with all the second hand cigarette smoke and got plenty of munchies with all the joints lit up in the pavillion seating. Sad to pay that much for 8 seats and non smoking policy in pavillion not enforced and drunk people falling all over you everywhere. I would recommend Theory of a Deadman and Godsmack to anyone but not the other two bands involved.
