  • CrueFest2~~Excellent line up

by StarryEyes70 on 7/29/09The Amphitheater at Clark County - RidgefieldRating: 4 out of 5

Drowning Pool and Godsmack were amazing! Godsmack had lots of pyrotechnics and sounded great! IF you like the Dr Feelgood album, Crue was good. I was a little disappointed that they played that album top to bottom and 3 other songs; Shout at the Devil, Saints of Los Angeles and Live Wire. I wish they would have played less of the Dr. Feelgood and more new songs as the Saints album is fantastic. Tommy Lee and Nikki Sixx came out and talked to the audience during the show which was killer, Nikki took pictures of the crowd and Tommy handed out Yagermeister to the front row. Vince sounded great and Mick Mars did an amazing solo.

  • Crue Fest

by Ames81 on 7/29/09The Amphitheater at Clark County - RidgefieldRating: 4 out of 5

Godsmack was absolutely incredible as was Drowning Pool. We left in the middle of Motley Crue though. They were definitley not having a good night. Vince Neil was off. Too bad. This one should have been the Godsmack Fest

  • Motley still rocks - Crue 2 AMAZING!

by MichelleRocks on 7/29/09The Amphitheater at Clark County - RidgefieldRating: 5 out of 5

Had a blast for the second year in a row!! The new amphitheater was fantastic and all the bands did a great job - even in the bazillion degree temperature! :) Motley had an even better light show than last year and I will be there again for next year's show!!!

  • All bands were phenominal Crue was as always amazi

I would recommend Everyone see 'Motley they rock .. 28 times and they still blow me away. Very impressed. With Godsmack too

  • Motley Crue still has it

by Jaybird79 on 7/29/09The Amphitheater at Clark County - RidgefieldRating: 3 out of 5

Even with 100 degree temperatures all the bands gave it what they could, I was really impressed with Godsmack, they were a true hard core band with no thrills and alot of energy. The parking was lousy, the beverages and food are way out of line and the crowd control have way to many little foot traffic rules. Who ever runs this place should attend a show to see what it feels like.

  • Cruefest 2

by skinnynow on 7/29/09The Amphitheater at Clark County - RidgefieldRating: 3 out of 5

Godsmack ruled this venue! It was too hot (105) for the show but overall was fun. Thought the sound was a bit garbled.

  • ALL BANDS WERE UNFORGETTABLE!

by benzbabe12003 on 7/27/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 5 out of 5

OMG! This concert was kick ass! I bought a six pack of tickets and was so blown away by the time Drowning Pool was over, that I went and upgraded my lawn seats to seats right behind the mosh pits. Drowning pool was great, Theory of a Deadman was unbelievable (Tyler is as hot in person as he is in the music videos), Godsmack was unbelievably awesome, and Mötley Crüe was amazing! I would have to say that the 2 best sets were Godsmack, because of the rocking pyrotechnics and Mötley Crüe because of their crazy opening. I absolutely loved how Godsmack made their pyrotechnics match so perfectly to the beats of their songs, especially when they played Voodoo, and Sully looked just as yummy in person as he does in the bands videos. I loved the energy that Mötley Crüe gave off through the entire set, with Vince jumping around and Tommy Lee going nuts on the drums! The only negative thing about the entire concert was when Mötley Crüe came on during their first song, Dr. Feelgood, you couldn't see down the little tunnel of lights that Tommy Lee and his HUGE drums were in unless you were dead in the middle of the amphitheater. But what is cool about all these bands is that they sounded just like they sound on their albums...none of them sounded like their voices had been altered to make the album sound better...and there was no lip syncing with any of them! This was truly a grade A concert. I hope they have Crüefest 3 next summer! I will definitely be there!

  • Rev Theory to be on next year's main stage?

by HilljackRockerMom on 7/27/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 5 out of 5

Thoroughly enjoyed this concert! I definately recommend checking out the second stage (by far, my favorite part of the day). Rev Theory put on an amazing show with a lot of energy. The other bands on second stage were pretty good, too. My only qualm is that the main stage didn't give us enough time to get back over there before they started playing- we missed the first song of each band! Main stage bands were good, too (of course). I recommend getting a seat, though. There wasn't a lot of energy on the lawn, and we were definately too far away to see anything. Blossom was a great venue: very clean and very nice. I'm amazed that the grass on the lawn is still alive; they take good care of the place.

  • Crue Crue Crue

  • Cruefest unbelievable!!

by Rogers on 7/26/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 5 out of 5

Went to Crue Fest 2 with a group of coworkers and it was all we could talk about the rest of the week. It was raining but that didn't stop the fans from having one hell of a time. All of the bands sounded excellent, especially Godsmack. They really put on a great show! It has been the most memorable concert for me this year. The lighting and pyrotechnics were out of this world. It couldn't have been any better than it was.

  • motley crue

by kyfootball79 on 7/26/09The Arena at Southeastern KY Agricultural and Expo Complex - CorbinRating: 4 out of 5

They made be older but that hasnt slowed them down one bit. It was as good as it gets, they still rock!

  • Motley Crue great then 80's great now 2009!

by smuzan on 7/26/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 5 out of 5

I was glad to share this experience with my 14 year old son. Motley Crue came on late :-( they made up for the time with playing longer. I wish they would have played more older songs i.e. smoking in the boys room, there were a lot of my age there to see them and I feel they would have enjoyed that as well. Over all Nikki Sixx, you look great, will you ever lose that baby face!

  • motley was awesome !

by jongle on 7/26/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 5 out of 5

it was a great time. even the rain didn't stop the fun. the other bands rocked but motley ruled. got to touch tommys drum stick for a minute,lol.. great time , great show.

  • Crue Fest 2 was memorable

by RRRRR on 7/26/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 4 out of 5

Moving from one stage to another was cumbersome. It would have been nice if screens could have been set up (at least in the pavillion area) to view the stage #2 acts. It would have also been nice if viewing screens were positioned outside the pavillion for the lawn crowd (like other outdoor venues). There was too much time between Godsmack and Motley Crue's performances. The band variety was a pleasant surprise....good concert.

  • Godsmack was awesome

by christydawn on 7/25/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 4 out of 5

Great Show! I've seen Motley Crue 4 times and I have to say that they have tamed down some, which I wasn't fond of. They still ROCK and put on a good show but I just felt that maybe they are wearing out! BUT....Godsmack & Theory of a Deadman were great!!! I would go again and recommend that people do!

  • motley crue was amazing

by savannah1 on 7/24/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 5 out of 5

motley crue played the entire dr feelgood album complete with original stage setting. Then the re set the stage and played some of their favorites. They played for one hour 45 minutes.Vince Neils voice sounded great!!Godsmack was also incredible,as were theory of a deadman.I cant wait to see the show again.

  • Godsmack was awesome!

by boffadees on 7/24/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 5 out of 5

Godsmack and Crue rocked! Godsmack mixed it up with songs from all their albums and the dueling drum session was absolutely amazing. I can't wait for them to go on tour next year. The opening of the Crue with Dr. Feelgood was awesome. They really went all out. Mick Mars on guitar was absolutely the best. Tommy and Nikki rocked their hearts out, they still got it. Vince showed his age but he still kicks it. I would definitely go see it again.
