Another great show with the Crue!! Godsmack was especially awesome!!! I would brave the hell-like heat for them anyday!!!
Godsmack was the second best part of the whole concert. The drum battle was unbelievable. When it finally came to for Motley Crue to take the stage they had an amazing start and kept the energy going through the entire show. Completely Awesome.
Loved all of it except the heat. All the bands were great, planning on going to Crue Fest 3 if there is one!
It was so much fun, could have used a little more Drowning Pool!!!!!!!!!
It was just okay. Godsmack was by far the best. Motley Crue just can't do it anymore. The opening bands just didn't engage the crowd.
Great show. Godsmack was great and stole the show to some extent. Crue was rockin', but would have rather heard more hits than the less poplular songs from Dr. Feelgood. Was a great time considering the 109 degree heat. Great show. Great time.
motley crue had a killer stage show the hole band rocked it .the fine women they had on stage kicked ass.
I saw the Shout at the devil tour 25 years ago and this concert slammed it by far.Crew is one of the best shows ever, Drowning pool Kicked ass and so did GODSMACK.DO NOT MISS THIS SHOW.....Awesomme....Still seeing spots....u rock crue and thanks again..
The concert was great . Moltley crue put on a ghood show. The rest of the bands put on a great show . God Smack sounded great and he is a great preformer. Clark county ampatheater sucked. No battled water? It suggests stadium sets and when you bring them they wont let you bring them in . very dissapointing.
Doesn't get much better than this. Motley Crew is a must see. Godsmack rocked too, especially when Sully got on drums.
It was incrediable even though it was 105 degrees It was well worth it
Crues Fest 2 was the first event that I have seen at the Amphitheater; and I was very impressed with the show and venue. I had been given mixed reviews about both Crue Fest and the Amphitheater and I am pleased to say that they both far passeed my expectations. Although I do have to add that Motley Crue; as fantastic as they are, were a bit predictable and "bubble gummy" for my taste. All of the groups were very good; but I do have to give a special "shout out" to Godsmack. The drum solo by the lead singer was a very nice surprise; as was the drum duo. Tommy Lee added a few very nice personal touches with his "chat" with the crowd between set change & his "rap" goodbye. All & all the show was well worth the money. It was definately a lot of "bang for your buck". I have been to a variety of shows & would honestly say that Crue Fest2 ranked right up there. The best show I've ever seen? Probably not, but anyway, my hat'z off to the guys, I know there not young anymore & they Moved with the best of them! Looking forward to Crue "Fest 3! See ya there!
Drowning Pool was great, except we couldn't hear the bass. Theory of a Dead Man's music was great, but Tyler's vocals were really off & they need to work on their stage presence - I love their cd's tho. Motley Crue was great, but Vince left out a butt load of lyrics. But Godsmack... THEY ROCKED!!!! They were by far the best of the concert!!!!!! They didn't miss a beat, vocals were right on & they just did a kick ass job!!!!!!
All in all the concert was good. Theory of a Deadman and Godsmack were the two bands that really sounded closest to their recorded music when thay performed live. Motley Crue was good as well, but I felt that Godsmack was a bit more in tune and interactive with the crowd
Went for Godsmack. Was overwhelmed with their realness and talent. Was blown away unexpectedly w/ Drowning Pool! The rest of em were pretty lame. But no worries, Sully made up for EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had never seen any of the bands that we saw Tuesday night but I would go back and see them all again, even though it was 110 degrees outside. I have never seen so much sweat, alcohol consumption or genuine enjoyment in a really long time and it was great to be part of it. My husband, family friend and myself went to the concert not knowing what to expect but were hoping for a good show, we were not disappointed and were able to see a fantastic show. I already loved all four of the bands but it was taken to a new level of appreciation after seeing them each perform.
We went to 2 Cruefest concerts last year (1 in Portland and 1 in Hollywood which had a different lineup). This one outsurpassed those 2 hands down. We arrived a little late, so we did not get to see Drowning Pool... but since I've never heard of them, I don't think I missed much. We only got to see the last song performed by Theory of a Deadman (bad girlfried) and I love that song, so the concert started on a great note for me. Godsmack was fine, although I'm not very familiar with their music.... but I enjoyed them. Now for the best part, Motley Crue. I forgot to say we had front row seats, so that made it all the better. They played the entire Dr. Feelgood album front to back! A real treat for true crue fans! Then after a brief set change, we got the rest of the concert, which of course included all the big hits we love to hear. The show closed with Home Sweet Home followed by Girls, Girls, Girls, so it ended on a super high energy song. Then Tommy came out for one last audience rousing and to thank everyone again. Besides the unbearable heat we experienced in the Northwest, everything else was fantastic!! I wish I could get into a time machine and do it all over again.
I really enjoyed this show. There was the heat of 107 that could have been less, but overall it was good. We opted for the Premier Parking, which was a good investment. This was the first time I had been to an outdoor venue, and think maybe that is why I can still hear. I have seen Godsmack twice now (once in support of Metallica in '04), and both times, they have done nothing, but kick ass. I would love to see these guys on a headline tour (maybe with Slayer, another band have not seen). Drowning pool, and TOAD were pretty good as well. I wish DP would have played more, but with 5 bands, what can you expect. Here's to all the 80's metal bands, that can still kick it (Motley Crue/Metallica/Slayer). I could tell that the Crue haven't played every song off Dr. in quite some time (as lyrics were missed, and solo's were off), but all in all good.
Crue is amazing live from opening to end. Godsmack kicked almost as much ass.
I absolutely loved this show. this is my second time going to Crue Fest and I would make this concert priority every year. Can't wait for Crue Fest 3!!!!
