This show was off the wall. The only disappointment was that it was at Fiddlers Green, not the greatest venue for a show like this.Their noise ordinance and time curfew blows! Anyway-- Godsmack -totally SICK!! anyone who has not seen there duo of drummers missed a great op. The Crue, top of there game. Though I wish Vince's vocals were a little crisper:(remember were at Fiddlers) He still sounded great! The set of music was totally choice and a rather theatrical stage show. I don't think I have given anything away, but if you miss this show you'll need to grow a third leg to kick your own ass.

  • Motley Crue and Godsmack Rocked

    by TeamMom02 on 8/5/09Fiddler's Green Amphitheatre - EnglewoodRating: 5 out of 5

I have seen Godsmack before and am impressed with their show. They really engage the crowd. Motley Crue is still one of my number 1 bands that I love. Their stage sets were amazing and then hearing the entire Dr. Feelgood album was really cool. They played all their biggest hits from each album and I thoroughly enjoyed myself!

  • Godsmack kicked Crue's butt!

by csulew on 8/5/09Fiddler's Green Amphitheatre - EnglewoodRating: 4 out of 5

Great show! I wish that Crue would have played more of their hits from over time instead of just one album. Godsmack, however...stole the show!!!

  • Motley Crue Rocks!!!

by CrueFan on 8/5/09Fiddler's Green Amphitheatre - EnglewoodRating: 5 out of 5

This concert was everything you would hope it would be!! The staging was amazing, much better than Crue Fest #1. Godsmack was also very entertaining, good staging there as well. If you like rock n roll you will LOVE this show!

sound wasn't great and not quite loud enough but godsmack was awesome!!!

  • Godsmack stole the show...

    by Lisa33 on 8/5/09Fiddler's Green Amphitheatre - EnglewoodRating: 3 out of 5

I was so disappointed in Motley Crew and so were other die hard fans I talked to. I've never seen so many people leave a show early. Godsmack was AMAZING. Great sound, great show! Good thing or I would have been pissed I even spent $$ on a lawn ticket. I wouldn't recommend this show unless you really want to see one of the opening acts.

  • I went deaf :-P

    by NKOTBlove86 on 8/5/09Fiddler's Green Amphitheatre - EnglewoodRating: 4 out of 5

Everyone performed great. Godsmack put on a hell of a performance, as well as (obviously) Motley Crue. I will be awaiting Crue Fest 3!!!!!

theory of a dead man and godsmack where great! we missed drowning pool, couldnt believe their set was so early and short. motley crue had great stage presence as always, the music was good the singing was weak.

  • Motley Crue-Better then ever! New Meets Old

    by Oldskool69 on 8/5/09Fiddler's Green Amphitheatre - EnglewoodRating: 5 out of 5

The concert was incredible. Hearing the music I grew up with along side of the best new rockers. The added Monster stage was awesome allowing us to hear the up coming bands. Rev Theory and Cavo are going to be big! Only issue was that the Monster stage and the main stage needed to be in better communication. We would be hearing the last of the Monster stage set to find out that the main stage had already started. This happened with Theory and Godsmack. Overall it was a great experience that I was able to share with my wife and daughter. Thank goodness I had the talk with her about weed before we went... :)

  • Crue Fest 2 rocked!

by Broncodad on 8/5/09Fiddler's Green Amphitheatre - EnglewoodRating: 4 out of 5

Crue Fest 2 rocked Fiddler's last night! Motley Crue gets a B+, only because Vince had lost his voice earlier, and wasn't at the top of his game. Godsmack blew the non-existant roof of the place! Sully and co. really know how to get a crowd fired up. Loved the snippet of "Aqualung" they played during the drum battle! Theory of a Deadman sounds better live than they do on the radio. Drowning Pool put on their typical rocking set, and everyone on the second stage put on a good show too. 10 bands for the price of 1, get tix while you can!

  • I say Motley you say Crue!!

by Denvercruefan on 8/5/09Fiddler's Green Amphitheatre - EnglewoodRating: 4 out of 5

Crue fest Two Rocked! They played the entire DR. Feelgood CD from start to finish. Although I would have liked them to have played more newer stuff the show rocked. Motley always puts on a good show and this was no exception. Godsmack was great. They beat my expectations. I have never seen them live and they put on a great show. They played a lot of their hits and some new and older stuff so it was well rounded. Theory of a Deadman and Drowning Pool were good. Bboth have some hits so at least those not familiar with them at least recognized a couple of jams. Deadman's I hate my life and then Bad Girlfriend were kickass. My only complaint is the venue. I HATE Fiddlers Green Amphitheatre, Denver Colo. ALL shows must end by 10:30. This absolutely sucks. While it was loud it was not rock concert loud. I have been too many concerts and when you can talk to the person next to you… well you get my point. Next beer is 9 bucks for 12oz bottle and 9.50 for a 16oz draft. You can't bring your own food in so you’re stuck with their food. And let me tell ya pepto will not cure you! ALL and All Crue Fest 2 rocked. Hopefully there will be a Crue fest 3. But as a lifelong Motley fan you just don't know if the boys can stick together for more than a few years at a time. So if you have not seen the Crue or haven't seen them in a while you are missing a great show.

  • Great show

    by blackknight351 on 8/5/09Fiddler's Green Amphitheatre - EnglewoodRating: 4 out of 5

Motley Crue is back & better than ever!!!! Vince was struggling a bit from a soar throat & said he had lost his voice a few days prior. But he rocked on in style. Crue did the entire Dr. Feelgood album & then went on the Wild Side!!!! I had never seen Godsmack before, but they are really awesome in concert. Theory of a Deadman was alright but didn't have the intensity that Drowning pool, Godsmack & The Crue had. Over all it was a great concert!!!!

  • Godsmack ruled, Motley Crue eh....

by Candygurl on 8/5/09Fiddler's Green Amphitheatre - EnglewoodRating: 3 out of 5

Godsmack was awesome, totally got everyone pumped. What an awesome voice. Motley Crue sang a lot of slow songs (I felt anyway)......wanted more action!!!

  • Should have been on the weekend!

    by cruz020 on 8/5/09Fiddler's Green Amphitheatre - EnglewoodRating: 3 out of 5

Overall, Crue Fest was good. The only problem i have is that it felt like the bands were rushed. They didnt play for very long. If it was on a weekend they might have been able t o spread out each bands set.

  • Godsmack & Crue rocked!

by SherJer on 8/5/09Fiddler's Green Amphitheatre - EnglewoodRating: 5 out of 5

Godsmack & Crue rocked Fiddler's Green last night - Wow! what a show! The sound and lights were great and the music was amazing! It was a fabulous Colorado summer night I'll always remember. Thanks to KBPI and everyone who made it happen - BPI Rocks the Rockies!!!!

  • Crue Fest is worth it

by GmrGrlLizC on 8/5/09Fiddler's Green Amphitheatre - EnglewoodRating: 4 out of 5

Having come into the concert towards the end of Drowning Pool, I was a bit disheartened but the rest of the show made up for it. Theory was a band I had not heard before but they put on a great show with some fantastic music. Godsmack was freaking amazing live and I would recommend to anyone to get a chance to see them in concert. Crue put on a great show covering all of the Dr Feelgood album and their other favorite hits. This might have been better if Vince's voice wasn't still recovering, but it was all good for me.

  • Crue was AWESOME!!!

    by peterson80103 on 8/5/09Fiddler's Green Amphitheatre - EnglewoodRating: 5 out of 5

Motley Crue is still kicking ass!!!! I love them!!

  • Godsmack stole the show

by skills on 8/5/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 3 out of 5

motley crue was a big dissapointment. song choices were lame. i expected more from the crue. maybe retirment is in order.

  • Whoo hoo ! Motley Crue

by mrsmigilligutty on 8/4/09The Amphitheater at Clark County - RidgefieldRating: 4 out of 5

Every band put on one heck of a show except Theory of a Deadman. I had higher hopes for them. I like their songs on the radio, but in real life...YOU GUYS SUCK! Everyone else was fantastic. I went to see my most favorite band the week before and Godsmack and Motley Crue blew even that show out of the water. My cousin and I were literally standing on the edges of our seats dancing and singing along to the music. We ended up almost in front. Close enough to feel the heat from the flames! And then motley crue came on. This crazy labratory set up with dancing girls and who would have thought that Motley Crue would bring the house down with their ENTIRE Dr. Feelgood album!!! Not to mention they did shout at the devil and girls girls girls and a bunch more. It was 105 degrees but we didn't care covered in sweat dripping down our clothes we were rocking out!

  • Hot, hot, hot

by Cruehead on 8/4/09The Amphitheater at Clark County - RidgefieldRating: 4 out of 5

We missed the first two bands because of the heat. Theory of a Dead Man sucked - we didn't even stay in the amphitheater for them. The misters were more of a draw for us than they were. Godsmack blew us away - they were awesome!!!! Motley were great, but didn't play as long as we had hoped. The tunnel in the beginning of their set was kind of weird - we were on the side and had a hard time seeing them. Tommy was great with his conversations with the crowd. And Mick still shreds!!!!! Vince needs to sing more. Overall, had a fun time!
