Mötley Crüe in Concert

After more than three decades of headbanging, heavy metal bad boys Mötley Crüe announced that 2015’s The Final Tour would be their last ever, giving fans one final opportunity to see Tommy Lee and company in the flesh before the curtain falls for good. The band has always been a revered live act for their showmanship and over-the-top performances, but their 2013 shows were their biggest and fieriest yet, featuring pyrotechnics beyond fans’ wildest dreams – including the late Nikki Sixx’s legendary flamethrower bass. With 72 North American dates in 2014 and international dates to follow, the Crüe are doing it big in true form, burning bright to the very last guitar solo.

Formed in LA in 1981 by guitarist Nikki Six and drummer Tommy Lee, Mötley Crüe was quickly rounded out with the addition of lead guitarist Mick Mars and singer Vince Neil. The band became notorious in the early ‘80s for their glam image and hard partying lifestyle, but it was 1983 sophomore album Shout at the Devil that made them international superstars. 1985’s Theatre of Pain and 1987’s Girls, Girls, Girls would prove even more successful, spawning ‘80s hard rock staples like “Smokin’ in the Boys Room” and “Home Sweet Home.” With 100 million albums sold worldwide, Mötley Crüe endures as one of the greatest heavy metal bands of all time, making their 2014 farewell tour a bittersweet last hurrah for their legions of fans.

Fans Who Bought Tickets Say

“Motley Crue still rules the rock scene after 30+ years of recording and performing. They played songs from virtually all albums and song selection was sure to please any Motley fan.”

“Motley ALWAYS delivers an amazing show. Seeing the Crue doing what they do best in Sin City couldn't have been any better. The pyro was over-the-top amazing.”

“This Motley Crue concert was the best Crue concert ever. The fire and pyros were awesome. They really outdid themselves. They sounded great too.”

Mötley Crüe on Tour

The world's most iconic and celebrated rock legends hit the road in the summer of 2020 for a coheadlining tour so massive that it could only be held in America's biggest stadiums. While "The Dirt" caused a meteoric 350% increase in streams of Mötley Crüe's music across all platforms and the younger 18-44 demographic now represents 64% of the band's fanbase most of the new fans have never seen any of the band's legendary live shows that Crüeheads have relished for close to four decades. Mötley Crüe is also celebrating the 30th Anniversary of their #1 charting, 7x Platinum album, "Dr. Feelgood" in 2019. Great show

by rcs88 on 7/22/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga Falls

This was a great show but not the best. I was looking forward to drowning pool but they played before theory of a deadman which surprised me. godsmack was terrific. Motley Crue was good but did not play girls girls girls or live wire. They did play the entire Dr. Feelgod album which they had not played in 20 years. Saw the Crue once before and i thought that one was better.

    Motley Crue

by Scoochie21 on 7/22/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga Falls

The Motley Crue show was awesome! They played the entire album of Dr. Feelgood and then they went into other hit songs. It was a good mixup instead of playing the same old stuff. Great stage show with your usual pyro. Godsmack was very energetic.

    Godsmack ruled the stage

by scott361 on 7/22/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga Falls

I am a huge Motley Crue fan for a very, very long time. I was a bit disapointed with there line up of songs. I understand they were playing the whole Dr. Feelgood cd but the other songs they played were the usual songs and alot of ballad songs. After seeing godsmack which energized the crowd I felt the energy level came to a screeching hault when Motley stepped onto the stage. I am hoping that next year they play alot of old crue songs and they don't play the normal wildside, girls, girls, grils, homesweet home, primal scream stuff

Motley Crue has a great stage show.

by 6360 on 7/22/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga Falls

Wasn't very familiar with all the other bands but went to see Motley Crue which I thought did a great job. Other bands seemed to be very like by others in the audience.

    worth the $$$

by tersekie on 7/22/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga Falls

Alright, let me first say I'm not a Crue fan. I caught this show for one reason...because Godsmack was on the bill. We arrived late, just in time to see Godsmack take the stage and I was not disappointed. They rocked the house and played a real nice set although it wasn't nearly long enough for me. They sounded great and kicked ass. They played many of their hits as you would expect and there was even time for a surprise or two. I wont give to much away but I will say this; you get to see Sully on the drum kit and ya get to hear their new single coming out in January. As for the Crue. They were way too loud. One of the girls I went with is a huge Crue fan and she agreed, they were to loud...but she really enjoyed the show. They too played most of their hits and a few tunes I wasn't familiar with.

    Cru-Fest was great

by Cuyahoga on 7/22/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga Falls

I didn't like the fact that Motley Cru didn't project theirselves on the side screens - we were at an outdoor ampitheatre and had lawn seating and was so far away that we couldn't see the band members very well - if they would of projected on the large side screens we could of seen them better - the concert it's self sounded awesome - Godsmack ruled - would recommend this concert but you'd better get close seating if you want to actually see the band members.

    All Ages at Cruefest II

by Buxx1 on 7/22/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga Falls

I really dug the generations of people that showed up to this year's Cruefest. The youngsters dominated at first with the mature crowd growing in numbers as the day/night went on. Crue sounded surprisingly good. I was worried about Vince's voice before the show as the last time I saw them he let the crowd do most of the singing, but it was pretty strong this time. Great stage props, pyro and "dancers"! Godsmack is always on. There is never a lull when they perform. Theory sounded good, too, and did a fantastic job of warming up the crowd. I didn't get to see much of Drowning Pool.

    Motley Crue was amazing

by LASIXX on 7/22/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga Falls

I have been waiting 20 years to see Crue and it was worht it. They were my favorite band when I was a teenager in the 80's. The fact that they played Dr. Feelgood from start to fnish was unforgettable. They were rocking last night at Blossom and definitely haven't lost it after all these years. I would go again next year if Crue Fest comes back and would recomend it to anyone who is a Crue fan.

    Motley Crue needs to retire

by McMRN on 7/22/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga Falls

The opening bands blew away Motley Crue in musical performance!!! Godsmack was INCREDIBLE live and my son and I can't wait until they do their own concert!!! Drowning Pool, Theory of a Deadman and the Charm City Devils ROCKED!!! I saw Motley Crue when I was a teenager, they were very popular then....I was so hyped to see them again...last night was a bit of a disappointment !!! It was very clear at some points in the show that Neil wasn't singing at all...I felt I was watching an aerobic workout routine. They were about glam and glitz in the 80's, I would have liked to see them more into their music than their elaborate stage design. Overall in this economy, the ticket price $75 was a value to see 5 bands. Needless to say, 4 Stars because Crue was disappointing.

Crue Fest 2 living up to Fest 1?

by MikeDilworth on 7/22/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga Falls

Crue Fest 1 set a pretty high standard for subsequent Crue Fest's, and last night's show did not quite reach the level of CF1, except for the volume level. Although I am not real familiar with the first three bands, they were decent. I was there mainly to see Godsmack, and they did not disappoint (see "Favorite moment" below). As for The Crue, I know that they wanted to celebrate Dr. Feelgood being a #1 album, but I don't believe that it was a great idea to play the entire album straight through. This lead to songs like Looks That Kill, Live Wire, and a few other staples of Crue live shows not being heard. This was a good Crue performance, but not the best Crue performance I have seen.

Was like going back to the 80's arena rock shows

by lost1 on 7/22/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga Falls

Great line up where all the bands fit together well with similar styles of music. Crue's show was as close to the old arena shows that I used to love going to see that I have seen in a very long time. They played the entire Dr. Feelgood album with the old costumes and stage set and it was a lot of fun to see. Theory of a Deadman was great and sounded great, Godsmack was also very good. Charm City Devils...eh...I've heard worse things. Only 2 complaints...Crue did not play Smokin' in the Boys Room and the venue (Blossom) after announcing that you could bring in bottled water changed this policy at the gate so that they could sell it inside for $5. Thanks Blossom for claiming that the band changed their mind on that policy.

Crue Fest 2 - Blossom Music Center, Cle OH

by Dreamcatcherjen on 7/22/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga Falls

Overall, the bands were great! I feel you really get your money's worth with so many top performers and love that Crue pulls together this type of A list talent for the fans. if I had to recommend anything, I think Crue should have stuck with the venue from Crue1. Yes, change it up as they did with music, different set, etc., however, the graphics of 2 versus 1 were a little cheesy and changing sets left a huge lull in the show. Crue, we are your fans dudes and we love you for you and your music.. Leave the set as is, but if you need to change it, keep it simple so the crowd doesn't stand around. But honestly, I think getting to your grass roots with SOLA was awesome and I wish this show could have touched more on the CD. Crue, love you guys and totally rock as always!!!!

    crazy!

by stahlman on 7/22/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga Falls

ive never before been to a concert where every band sounded great. drowning pool came out and the crowd went nuts! then theory of a deadman just had the crowd going... Godsmack sounded amazing, they easily stole the show! but you just cant compare them to motley crues stage antics... it was all around awesome!
