About

Motionless in White are a gothic and horror-themed metalcore band from Scranton, Pennsylvania. After forming in 2005, the group began to break out with the release of their third album, Reincarnate (2014), which charted in the Top 10 on the Billboard 200 and featured artists such as Dani Filth of Cradle of Filth and Tim Skold of Marilyn Manson and KMFDM. Lead vocalist Chris Motionless has noted drawing inspiration from bands like Slipknot, Cradle of Filth and AFI, who helped inspire the sonic soundscape of albums like Graveyard Shift (2017) and Disguise (2019), the latter of which produced the band’s first single to go gold, “Another Life.” Motionless in White have released two EPs and six studio albums, including 2022’s critically acclaimed Scoring the End of the World — embarking on sold-out tours with everyone from Korn to Slipknot.

  • Motionless was a scream!

by CJizzles on 10/21/17STAGE AE - PittsburghRating: 5 out of 5

I've never had a bad experience at AE, and this show was no exception. I loved every second, from the opener to Motionless. Those dudes totally rocked the house.

  • Motionless in white is a must see live!!

    by Heckie23 on 10/20/17STAGE AE - PittsburghRating: 4 out of 5

As a frequent metal concert goer, I’ve seen many bands from all over. This was my second time seeing motionless in white live, as I saw them on warped tour in 2016. Even for a second time the boys didn’t disappoint they brought 110% with each song, and really showed a genuine gratitude for everyone in attendance. I’d also like to mention the energy during Miss May I’s set, It was something i believe everyone should get to experience once in their life, everyone just came together and moved as one, circle pits, walls of death there wasn’t a single person not moving, and enjoying themselves. That on top of motionless’s performance it was an unforgettable night! William control was a new face that I’ve greatly become interested in! And the amity affliction was one who came out swinging, and full of emotion both had spectacular sets as well!

  • MIW always brings an amazing show.

One of my favorite bands to see live. MIW is always a high energy show to not be forgotten.

  • MIW is f@*#*;g AMAZING.

Third time seeing them this year!!! First time as the headliner. They were made to be a headliner! From the stage setup, the on point vocals, the theatrics on stage and everything in between it was by far the BEST show I've been to. Going to go see them again as soon as I can. PS THE MEET and GREET was an experience I will never forget. Some of the most personable guys you could meet.

  • About over it, fix your mess miw

Been a diehard since they first hit the scene. When they were with fearless they were getting better and better quality music videos, tours, headlining etc. Now they jumped and went to roadrunner and are losing literally. There album keeps getting pushed back. I remember the last tour "we will see you next summer with our new album and tour" here we are almost the NEXT summer and have no new album and the first three songs so far off the new one are awful. Come on you guys are IMPLODING. You Korned yourself. If you don't know what korned yourself means look into how they changed labels and the label hosed them and ruined their career and held them hostage. This label you are with now is hosing you and making you a joke. The area code song, whatever it is called, unlistenable, I got through the first part of the video and laughed. No quality, low budget, fearless would have never. Eternally yours? Equally garbage. And the worst "loud" , ummm shouldn't it BE loud? The video, equally horrible. Your lights onstage are horrible. I am not referring to the above venue light I am referring to your onstage white lights behind you that are low. NOBODY can see you guys it makes attending the show pointless and unbearable. Why pay to see a show if you can't SEE it. When will you stop with this? Don't you have people who watch the show for you and tell you nobody can see you unless in the front row? Stop with the useless blinding lights or I will not spend another dime. Last night so many people outside venue saying same. Chris you are losing us. Ditch this album and start over. Three out of three bad songs, I don't wager there will be one song we like

Every band was pretty great but The Devil Wears Prada gave me a new respect for their music. Man did they bring the house down... Their album sound is deceiving to what they can really do. Pleasantly surprised here!!!

Met the band, very laid back group of gentlemen, and put on an incredible show as always! Only downfall was the venue parking. But the men themselves, I hope they come back to Atlanta again!! Love their music as well as them!

    by Orchids2015 on 11/8/15Masquerade - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

I took my teenage daughter. We bought sound check, meet and greet tickets. Obviously not my type of music....BUT-it was the best concert ever!!!! The performers gave 200%! We were front row standing so my daughter got the experience of her life which makes this mom beyond happy!!! I even looked to see where the rest of the tour was going to next to see if it was close enough for us to follow them ...
