Motionless in White are a gothic and horror-themed metalcore band from Scranton, Pennsylvania. After forming in 2005, the group began to break out with the release of their third album, Reincarnate (2014), which charted in the Top 10 on the Billboard 200 and featured artists such as Dani Filth of Cradle of Filth and Tim Skold of Marilyn Manson and KMFDM. Lead vocalist Chris Motionless has noted drawing inspiration from bands like Slipknot, Cradle of Filth and AFI, who helped inspire the sonic soundscape of albums like Graveyard Shift (2017) and Disguise (2019), the latter of which produced the band’s first single to go gold, “Another Life.” Motionless in White have released two EPs and six studio albums, including 2022’s critically acclaimed Scoring the End of the World — embarking on sold-out tours with everyone from Korn to Slipknot.

MIW put on an amazing show and definitely made up for the original reschedule. I definitely cannot wait to see them again!
First, let's get this out of the way: Getting into the venue was a misadventure. Standing in the rain, the crowd being roughly funneled through a Disney-ride-nightmare waiting line. That's not on the band: they don't control the weather or operate the venue. Motionless in White: Fabulous! A great mix of songs from across their discography. All the favorites. Even "Dead as F."Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. Chris Motionless was great at acknowledging everyone for toughing out the weather and making it all happen. (Given his ability to keep it real, maintain grace towards everyone there - and not there -- as well as state/meet expectations, can we put him on the Presidential ballot? I'd vote for Chris.) The music was expertly played and the whole band performed superbly. Justin Morrow - always a crowd pleaser with his whimsical darkness and steady bass lines. Vinny Mauro looked like nothing could ever distract him from adeptly grinding out his on-point drumming. Not even the rain that gently fell at points during the show. This was my fourth time seeing MiW play live, and they are always fabulous. MiW is a class act - impressive and high quality. As Professor Snape would say: "Always." I absolutely plan to see them the next time they play - even if that means battling the elements and engaging in a side quest to navigate the entrance to the venue. I recommend Motionless in White! If you are a metalcore/gothic metal/industrial metal fan, they are a must see. Five stars easily. Looking forward to the next time I get to scream "Werewolf"live.
The band was AMAZING. Performance was everything and Kim Dracula killed it, I loved the show. It’s just the venue was extremely unorganized due to the weather being bad. It felt rushed because of the curfew in the area so Chris Motionless even said himself they have to keep going and can’t stop. So do better White Oak Music Hall, we as fans waited months for this concert only for it to constantly be changed the last minute time wise as well as not being able to see the other two artist performing.
I've been to three Motionless in White concerts so far and I love everyone one of them.
Went to see In This Moment, not knowing that after the long drive the venue canceled them. Also the venue couldn't decide what time they wanted to open the gates, keep getting pushed back and the whole place was a mess, mud and puddles everywhere. White Oak Music Hall sucks
The show was supposed to start at 4 but kept getting pushed back. Doors didn’t end up opening until 5:30. Both Mikes Dead and In This Moment both canceled their sets. We had to wait until 7:15ish for Kim Dracula to start his set which went pretty smooth. Then Motionless In White was on but it’s took them until 8:50 to start their set which took them almost an hour to set up with technical difficulties. After all that waiting, they ended up having to cut their set short due to curfew. So 3/4 of the “show” was waiting. I was really looking forward to this show because Motionless In White is one of my favorite bands, but it did not go smoothly at all.
The venue has a curfew so concerts had to start early. Doors were suppose to open at 4 But we had weather delays. And venue had to be done by 9:59 So only 2 of the 4 bands played. And they played a short set. Which is not great but understandable. However the line to get into the place was a hot mess. 1 line into 8 lines into 2 lines into 4 lines back into 2lines. Like what hell just snake though why such a cluster. Parking around the venue was a mess of unregulated parking. People are just like park in my driveway for $30. The whole experience just left a bad taste in my mouth I do not recommend going to that venue. But I do recommend seeing motionless in white and kim Dracula
This is the second time seeing them and they always have a great show. This is also the second time in this moment has cancelled the day of the concert.
This Show Was Amazing! Best Day of my life! Just to see them in person was mind blowing. I drove 7 1/2 hours just to be there!
First, only 2 of the 4 bands got to play. Motionless in White did a good job in spite of the issues all night. Second, the main band we went to see didn’t even have the audacity to inform their fans that they wouldn’t even show up! We had to wait in metal barricades in the rain for hours just to finally get into the venue to wait another few hours just to find out In this Moment never even made it to the venue. Horrible venue, not the band’s fault.
Of course I love the band. I just wish and hope for future concerts the band will choose a different venue. The parking and event line for the doors were not good at all. There are much more nicer venues in Houston with better parking.
Concert was great considering dookie weather and other bands canceling last minute. Overall, cool, fun experience.
They put on such an incredible show and since this was my first concert I’ll literally never forget it. I have got to see them again because this was life changing I love this band so so so much
Performed with In This Moment in Asheville, NC and it was amazing. Definitely worth the 4.5 hour drive we had to see them. Will 100% be seeing them again just as soon as they are within 5 hours of us again!! 🤘🏻
Literally THE BEST EXPERIENCE I've ever had I was in the pit and OMGG he was amazing the show was just splendid it was just a dream some true ❤️ still get chills thinking and talking about how awesome the show was. ID see them again without hesitation for sure ❤️❤️
I saw motionless in white on their Trinity Of Terror tour with We Came As Romans, Ice Nine Kills and Black Veil Brides a they straight up was amazing. Motionless In White is way much better live and they played all my favorite song just name some voice and masterpiece I can’t remember them all but it was just awesome. Definitely one of my most memorable concerts ever!!!! Can’t wait to see them live again!!!!
I saw MIW in July 2023 with in this moment. MIW put on a really good show. It was my first time seeing them so I was excited to see them live. They did not disappoint. I hope they come back to reno again cause I'd love to see them again.
I do concerts and music 🎶 festivals as a hobbie and job. MIW's shows are the best I seen this year. From sounds - production, it's more then a concert ! It's a musical play and masterpiece. 🤘🏼⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
One of my favorite bands I've seen live, seen them 3 or 4 times and it's a hell of a show everytime
This was my first time seeing MIW and let me tell you....they certainly did not disappoint. They were just as incredible live as they are on record. They played a variety of old songs alongside new ones. The line up they had before them was incredible too. Ive seen knocked loose about 4 times now and they are always a great time. Was my first time seeing After the burial and Alphawolf but they too were awesome. I would DEFINITELY see MIW again, they were alot of fun!
