About

Motionless in White are a gothic and horror-themed metalcore band from Scranton, Pennsylvania. After forming in 2005, the group began to break out with the release of their third album, Reincarnate (2014), which charted in the Top 10 on the Billboard 200 and featured artists such as Dani Filth of Cradle of Filth and Tim Skold of Marilyn Manson and KMFDM. Lead vocalist Chris Motionless has noted drawing inspiration from bands like Slipknot, Cradle of Filth and AFI, who helped inspire the sonic soundscape of albums like Graveyard Shift (2017) and Disguise (2019), the latter of which produced the band’s first single to go gold, “Another Life.” Motionless in White have released two EPs and six studio albums, including 2022’s critically acclaimed Scoring the End of the World — embarking on sold-out tours with everyone from Korn to Slipknot.

  • Incredible experience

by Severin on 9/26/23Uptown Theater - Kansas CityRating: 5 out of 5

While I didn’t care for 200lbs crowd surfers falling on my spine, Motionless In White is my number one favorite band and always puts on an incredible show. The stage effects, choreography, lights and sounds were all fantastic. As well as Chris holding out as long as possible, despite being sick was truly appreciated. I plan on seeing them whenever possible.

  • Epic performance by Motionless in White

by Danni on 9/24/23TCU Amphitheater at White River State Park - IndianapolisRating: 4 out of 5

Great seats, amazing venue at the TCU Amphitheatre Indy. The first three bands were real hard core metal...not bad, loved it when Chris Motionless brought them back in a couple of his songs, and Motionless in White had the best show I saw this year (my 3rd in 2023). Amazing setlist, fabulous fashion, Cherry Bombs added theatrical style, overall an incredible experience.

  • The show was amazing!!

by Tyler h on 9/24/23TCU Amphitheater at White River State Park - IndianapolisRating: 5 out of 5

Mosh pit in the back stayed going the whole show and the security guards were right there making sure no one got too hurt. The venue was intimate even with the lawn tickets. MIW, after the burial, knocked loose, and alpha wolf are absolutely amazing. A great experience all the way around. Motionless played some of their older hits and had an incredible stage setup. Lots of moving elements and pyrotechnics. Was the best show I’ve ever been to in my opinion.

  • Unbelievable

MIW exceeded all expectations. The show is amazing musically and theatrically. A MUST NOT MISS.

  • Phenomenal

I don't care what venue they play, The guys in Motionless give their all every show and they love and appreciate their fans. TCU security and workers were amazing. Truly the best venue I've been to. Zero complaints.

  • Motionless in white was awesome security not so much

by Megan on 9/24/23TCU Amphitheater at White River State Park - IndianapolisRating: 5 out of 5

The music was good the venue was good but the security was rude as hell and purposely blocking photos and completely oblivious of medical needs and the lack of communication between security is terrible like why is it one of the members had to run while two of them just stood and stared at a passed out guy getting cpr. The supervisor number 6211 was on a freaking power trip that night

  • Huge Motionless In White Fan

by Emily on 9/24/23TCU Amphitheater at White River State Park - IndianapolisRating: 5 out of 5

It was very good venue. Easy in and out, merch and bathroom lines were short and quick

  • Nice Venue

by TCU on 9/24/23TCU Amphitheater at White River State Park - IndianapolisRating: 4 out of 5

This facility is smaller but much cleaner and far more organized than other venues in the area. The food and beverage service seemed to be more affordable.

  • It was a great show 🤘

by Zack on 9/24/23UPMC Events Center - Moon TownshipRating: 5 out of 5

It was really good although my only complaint was you couldn’t hear the first two bands very well but other than that knocked loose and motionless sounded pretty good the stage show was awesome also great show 🤘❤️😈

  • They should have headlined instead

by Kat on 9/24/23Rating: 3 out of 5

Motionless in white should have headlined, not Beartooth. Like 5 songs played and that was it.

  • AMAZING!

    by A. L. on 9/23/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Saw them in Evansville with my 13 year old, my only regret was that i didn't get floor tickets because I didn't know how she'd handle that. Now i know she'd be fine, and we can't wait to see them again!! Hands down the best concert I've ever been to!

  • Emotional In Black

by Honey Bear on 9/22/23GLC Live at 20 Monroe - Grand RapidsRating: 5 out of 5

Oh man! It was awesome! We had a great night, AlphaWolf kicked things off with amazing energy, followed by AfterTheBurial that continued that energy, Knocked Loose were seriously chuggy, then Motionless In White came on, blew me away, there sound and production levels were off the charts, so much passion from those guys, I love em, can't wait to see them again

  • Great concert, okay venue

by Sara on 9/22/23GLC Live at 20 Monroe - Grand RapidsRating: 5 out of 5

The concert was amazing, each band gave their all and made for an enjoyable experience. My main problem is with the venue itself. There was no signage outside to differentiate between the VIP line and the regular access, so we waited in the VIP line for a little bit before being told we had to go to the other line. The merch line inside the venue usually sucks, as there just isn't the room to accommodate the amount of people wanting to buy things. No one was inside regulating the merch line so people ended up creating two ends of the line that converged halfway, increasing the wait time. Like I said, the concert itself was amazing. There was an amazing atmosphere brought not only by the crowd but the bands themselves.
