About

Motionless in White are a gothic and horror-themed metalcore band from Scranton, Pennsylvania. After forming in 2005, the group began to break out with the release of their third album, Reincarnate (2014), which charted in the Top 10 on the Billboard 200 and featured artists such as Dani Filth of Cradle of Filth and Tim Skold of Marilyn Manson and KMFDM. Lead vocalist Chris Motionless has noted drawing inspiration from bands like Slipknot, Cradle of Filth and AFI, who helped inspire the sonic soundscape of albums like Graveyard Shift (2017) and Disguise (2019), the latter of which produced the band’s first single to go gold, “Another Life.” Motionless in White have released two EPs and six studio albums, including 2022’s critically acclaimed Scoring the End of the World — embarking on sold-out tours with everyone from Korn to Slipknot.

  • Amazing Show; Weird venue

by Kimmie on 10/3/23The Torch at LA Coliseum - Los AngelesRating: 3 out of 5

Motionless In White were absolutely incredible as always, and the stage production that went with this tour was absolutely amazing. By far one of the best live shows I’ve ever seen. However, the separate VIP to GA separation was weird and kind of annoying. As well, the venue made the bands close down their merch booths right after the concert ended? It made it impossible for tons of fans to actually buy any merch to support their favorite bands playing. It was extremely upsetting in all honesty. And in my over a decade or concert going I’ve never seen another venue do that before in my life.

Always awesome to see Motionless in White! An amazing band, I think that’s really all I need to say. Until the next one!

  • Truly a undeniable experience

by Rosemary Horror on 10/2/23The Torch at LA Coliseum - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

I’m so eternally grateful to have finally seen knocked Loose and Motionless in white in person. Surprisingly, no one really interacted with me since they’re was some a lot of influencers and I kept to my own world. Didn’t ruin anything. Can’t wait to see them again.

by AMAZING on 10/2/23The Torch at LA Coliseum - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

MIW has my spooky heart forever and ever. They’re such a great bad whom I didn’t get into until later in life but wow I was missing out . They put on such a great show and you can tell Chris motionless truly has a heart of hold and how much he appreciates his fans. I love him and the guys so so much. The venue was amazing too! The other bands we freaking amazing. First time hearing After The Burial and they are easily now a favorite. And KNOCKED LOOSE ARE YOU KIDDING?! It was truly one for the books!

  • Super dope!

The whole show was sick. You could really tell how much time and effort they put into this tour and I honestly can’t wait for the next one (: ! Merch was also like more affordable then I anticipated so I got to cop more then I planned! 💖

  • Incredible

by Steph on 10/2/23The Torch at LA Coliseum - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

This was my 3rd time seeing Motionless in White and by far my favorite. MIW is amazing live and my favorite band, so this was a night I will never forget. The Torch at the Coliseum is a great venue. VIP is 100% worth it. We arrived at 6:15 and were still able to get barricade. Friendly staff, clean restrooms, and reasonable drink prices. Overall, I would absolutely come here again.

  • A blast

The torch and full moon made the show an experience to remember. All the bands were incredible!

  • Blegh!

by Star on 10/2/23The Torch at LA Coliseum - Los AngelesRating: 4 out of 5

Honestly, the VIP area being so big was overkill but overall the show was great. I had a lot of fun and will definitely be seeing MIW again in their next tour.

Seen them twice at LA, for the trinity of terror tour and touring the end of the world and they were incredible.

  • Best Damn Show Ever

by Rain on 9/27/23Uptown Theater - Kansas CityRating: 5 out of 5

Alpha Wolf, After the Burial, Knocked Loose, and Motionless were all INCREDIBLE. The Uptown is a fantastic venue and the energy was immaculate. Motionless in White put on an incredible show despite Chris being sick. I had such an amazing time. The post-concert depression is hitting so hard.

  • Amazing

    by Heroofdarkness1 on 9/27/23Uptown Theater - Kansas CityRating: 5 out of 5

Even though they had to cut their set short they were amazing live

  • Was great but...

by Crow on 9/26/23Uptown Theater - Kansas CityRating: 3 out of 5

Was my first ever concert, and I overall had a grand time. Only bummy thing was that Chris was sick and canceled the concert early. I totally get being sick, but it would've been nice to postpone or cancel the concert altogether.

  • Lovely and Iconic

by Bren on 9/26/23Uptown Theater - Kansas CityRating: 5 out of 5

I attended the show in KC, the sound was incredible, the entire bill was very strong. I’ve attempted to see MIW twice before and the third time was the charm—it was well worth the wait. They played a few old ones, brought out vocalists from the other bands and had a little fun. Production was wonderful and I was overall extremely happy. Go see them!!

  • 5star show

by Taka on 9/26/23Uptown Theater - Kansas CityRating: 5 out of 5

Everything seemed well organized. The show was amazing. Only complaint is that the smoking section was small and croweded.

  • Amazing

by KH on 9/26/23Uptown Theater - Kansas CityRating: 5 out of 5

Amazing show but could have done without the dancers on stage.
