Motionless in White are a gothic and horror-themed metalcore band from Scranton, Pennsylvania. After forming in 2005, the group began to break out with the release of their third album, Reincarnate (2014), which charted in the Top 10 on the Billboard 200 and featured artists such as Dani Filth of Cradle of Filth and Tim Skold of Marilyn Manson and KMFDM. Lead vocalist Chris Motionless has noted drawing inspiration from bands like Slipknot, Cradle of Filth and AFI, who helped inspire the sonic soundscape of albums like Graveyard Shift (2017) and Disguise (2019), the latter of which produced the band’s first single to go gold, “Another Life.” Motionless in White have released two EPs and six studio albums, including 2022’s critically acclaimed Scoring the End of the World — embarking on sold-out tours with everyone from Korn to Slipknot.

Second time seeing them at the Revolution Concert House in Boise and they are stunning. They put on such a great show and Chris is such a great person and is so cool with the crowd. You should always see them if given the opportunity.
I loved that it!! They did beautifully, I would see them again.
Concert was absolutely AMAZING!! THEY PLAYED SO WELL, absolutely KILLED IT! I HOPE THEY COME BACK SOONN!!!
My husband really wanted to see this show, and I like them but didn’t have high expectations on seeing a metal show. As soon as they took the stage I was blown away. Such incredible production value with the graphics and pyrotechnics. They sounded great and their energy was amazing!
This is the second time we have seen Motionless in White at the Moda center. We will come to see them anytime they come to town. Amazing performance, they know how to engage the crowd. Chris and the entire band, team ect, are geniuses! See yall next time!
By far one of the best shows I’ve seen live. Amazing pyrotechnics, fantastic stage performance. I couldn’t have been any happier after attending another MIW show.
I get the whole attitude of: "Don't give the warm up bands and opportunity to show you up"... But that the fact that the 3 bands that are on the bill have such a low brow, no frills, 'slug it out' set...only leads you to the feeling of elation that the money spent on the tickets was worth the price you paid. Motionless' set is unbelievable. Many levels higher up on the scale of entertainment. Whether or not this is the design, the tour would be that much more outstanding if the opening bands had ANY kind of stage presence. That being said, the Motionless stage show/set is worth the price of admin alone. Great show.
MIW put on the best show ever and everytime I've watched them live they sound like they're playing in a studio it sounds so perfect!
I bought the tickets for the opening bands, alpha wolf, after the burial, and knocked loose are heavy hitters! These bands are what really sold the show. I had no interest in seeing motionless in white, my group of 5 left after knocked loose. Not sure why MIW headlined, or were even on the line up.
The pyrotechnics were the best of the show, the overhead fog could've been a little bit quieter.
MIW put on one heck of a show. Security made sure those at the rail were hydrated. Crowd was energetic and had a great time.
Motionless In White are my favorite band and always will be. Their live performance is incredible and I absolutely will go see them again!
All bands killed it, Alpha wolf came on and instantly set the mood for a fantastic show, all bands worked the crowd well and MiW was incredible with a pure and natural sound Their whole performance was well done and made the show even more enjoyable
3 opening bands that were of genre and are up and coming if not staples of said genre. Headliner was a great show, fire, dancers, video, smoke, more fire! Totally worth the price of admission. The band had a great stage presence and seemed to ensue that all members were seen and happy to be there, not just on auto pilot.
Show was good incredible! Loved the set up w the flames and the dancers!
Chris motionless ALWAYS puts on the best shows. This was my second motionless show at wamu and it was the most epic show of 2023 for me. The openers were amazing and the energy was amazing.
I’ve seen MIW before and this time much like the others they were phenomenal. From production to performance just fantastic.
I only knew three of their songs. According to Setlist.fm, they were going to play two of them. I was still determined to go. And I had a blast! Left there with new favs of mine!!! I can’t wait for them to be back! I will certainly be there!!!
Motionless white has never disappointed me in the two time I have seen them. They had an amazing performance from the set list to the visuals.
