About
Motionless in White are a gothic and horror-themed metalcore band from Scranton, Pennsylvania. After forming in 2005, the group began to break out with the release of their third album, Reincarnate (2014), which charted in the Top 10 on the Billboard 200 and featured artists such as Dani Filth of Cradle of Filth and Tim Skold of Marilyn Manson and KMFDM. Lead vocalist Chris Motionless has noted drawing inspiration from bands like Slipknot, Cradle of Filth and AFI, who helped inspire the sonic soundscape of albums like Graveyard Shift (2017) and Disguise (2019), the latter of which produced the band’s first single to go gold, “Another Life.” Motionless in White have released two EPs and six studio albums, including 2022’s critically acclaimed Scoring the End of the World — embarking on sold-out tours with everyone from Korn to Slipknot.

Security would not let people leave or enter the floor area. The show seems like it was way oversold and in the event of an emergency it would have been difficult for people to make it out of the venue.

Really enjoyed the opening acts, Alpha Wolf, After the Burial and Knocked Loose. Chris Motionless was his normal dynamic self. They are always an incredible live act. When they come back to Myrtle Beach, I will definitely be there!

I was pushed down and trampled and the people I was pulling up on to get up complained and security removed me because ‘their word against mine’. Never again will I return to a show.
