About

Comprised of Ryan Guldemond (vocals, guitar), Molly Guldemond (vocals, keys), Jasmin Parkin (vocals, keys), Ali Siadat (drums) and Mike Young (bass), Mother Mother are best known for their deep connection with their fans, and for bringing stadium-sized energy to their live show, no matter the stage.  Singing about themes of alienation and enormous longing for self and societal acceptance, the band's mission is to be a home for souls that feel they don't fit in anywhere else.

Mother Mother were recently catapulted into a new stratosphere of universal success following the release of their critically acclaimed studio album INSIDE.  Their explosive follow-up to "Hayloft," "Hayloft II" connected with fans around the world and is now certified Gold in the US and approaching Platinum in their home country of Canada. A string of #1 radio hits in Canada, 6 billion global streams, and multiple Billboard chart appearances cement their newfound global success.

The quintet spent most of the last year touring the world playing to sold-out audiences in theaters to stadiums, with multiple sold-out headline tours in Europe, UK, Canada, Australia and the U.S. as well as past and upcoming festival plays at Reading + Leeds, Lollapalooza in Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Berlin, Corona Capital in Mexico, Pukkelpop Belgium, Frequency Festival in Austria, Lowlands in The Netherlands and more.

I had actually bought the tickets for destroy boys and had no idea who mother mother were till I recognised some songs from “TikTok” I was worried but HOLYYY they were entertaining and engaging. I went with my bf who didn’t t know them AT ALL and loves them now added a bunch of their songs to his playlists so a win is a win .

Lots of fun, lively bands and great atmosphere! Would have liked to see mother mother on stage for at least 4 more songs.

  • Mother Mother was great but need a different opening act

by MD on 6/18/24Rogers Arena - VancouverRating: 4 out of 5

Loved Mother Mother live but wish their set was longer. Really hated the opening act though. Almost enough to cancel my plans to go to another show. Cavetown is just simply not a good pairing for a concert and their set was as long as the main band and felt like it wouldn’t stop.

  • Best experience I've had in my life

by Alex on 6/14/24Petco Park - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5

I had been wanting to see them in concert for 8 years, fell in love with them in my freshman year of high school and have been obsessed since. Getting to see them live was life changing.

  • Absolutely amazing

by Meara on 6/13/24Petco Park - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5

Mother mother is amazing to hear live! They're so kind, the only "bad"part of my experience was due to the people but that's not mother mother's fault, I genuinely loved hearing them live, they play so well, they all have an amazing voice I was so happy to hear my favorite songs live!

  • Great band!

    by Sheens2007 on 6/12/24Petco Park - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5

Took our two teenage kids to their first concert. It was pretty easy going into Petco park and there was plenty of space for everyone. Cavetown opened up and they were absolutely amazing! Loved the energy and vocals from Mother Mother! Great first concert for my kids.

  • Amazing! Although where is my signed set list?

by Concert teen on 6/12/24Petco Park - San DiegoRating: 4 out of 5

The concert was amazing. Top 3 of best concerts ever. Both cavetown and mother mother were brilliant and I was so happy! I knew the mother mother singa already but I had never really listened to them. It was such a great concert. I’m a much bugger fan. My mom paid for cavetown VIP for me as a gift, I was sad that what was promised wasn’t provided. It said autographed set list and cavetown did not provide that. I wished that I had done the VIP for mother mother. And the designated vip area was an infusing and the people in charge kept moving us over and over and over.

  • Amazing first concert!!

by Kait on 6/11/24The Torch at LA Coliseum - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

This was my boyfriend and I’s first concert ever and we both had an amazing time! I loved how they welcomed all new concert goers and thanked us for choosing then as their first band. I thought that was so cute cause they really didn’t have to acknowledge it. I’d like to say that Cavetown and Meet Me @ the Altar were amazing too! The only thing was that we were expecting Destroy Boys and were kind of disappointed they didn’t show. But overall we’re extremely satisfied with the concert!

  • Amazing Live!

by Rustoleum on 6/11/24The Torch at LA Coliseum - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

I love, mother, mother! They are unique and good at the same time, which is rare. The innovative vocal arrangements performed by the two females and male singer combination Is something to behold. They are a great headliner.

  • Awesome

This was my first concert and it was awesome. I'm so glad I was able to go see Mother Mother and Cavetown, and I got to discover a new band Meet me @ the alter. I enjoyed my time there and was worth my time and what I spent

  • Yes!

  • Outstanding Performance and Top Notch Venue!!

by PurpleJME on 11/9/22The Masonic - San FranciscoRating: 5 out of 5

The sound at the venue was exquisite. The warm-up bands were a pleasant surprise. Mother Mother gave an outstanding, professional, rocking performance!! My only disclaimer is that the merch stand was set up in a VERY bad place for exiting the show. It created a bottleneck that did not feel safe. Moving the merch stand to another location, perhaps further inside the venue, would be highly recommended... Also, $50 to park at the event was RIDICULOUS, though convenient.
