Comprised of Ryan Guldemond (vocals, guitar), Molly Guldemond (vocals, keys), Jasmin Parkin (vocals, keys), Ali Siadat (drums) and Mike Young (bass), Mother Mother are best known for their deep connection with their fans, and for bringing stadium-sized energy to their live show, no matter the stage. Singing about themes of alienation and enormous longing for self and societal acceptance, the band's mission is to be a home for souls that feel they don't fit in anywhere else.

A string of #1 radio hits in Canada, 6 billion global streams, and multiple Billboard chart appearances cement their newfound global success.
The quintet spent most of the last year touring the world playing to sold-out audiences in theaters to stadiums, with multiple sold-out headline tours in Europe, UK, Canada, Australia and the U.S. as well as past and upcoming festival plays at Reading + Leeds, Lollapalooza in Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Berlin, Corona Capital in Mexico, Pukkelpop Belgium, Frequency Festival in Austria, Lowlands in The Netherlands and more.

Show was AMAZING !!I cant wait for them to come back to Houston on their next tour!!
Mother Mother had an amazing light show that matched the energy of the songs, their vocals were amazing and everyone had a part. I will definitely see them again, I wish to see them again.
This was my first trip to this venue and I really liked it. All the musicians were great. My only complaint was some of the lights during Mother Mother were so bright and shining right in our eyes (we were sitting on the second tier) that I had to just listen with my eyes closed. Overall really enjoyed the evening.
for a long time Ive loved mother mother and i was able to see them in concert recently! i went to their tour with cavetown with seeing cavetown in mind. it was one of the best nights of my life. they all had so much energy and they all knew how to put on an amazing show that gets the crowd having fun! i would totally recommend seeing them if they are in your city! the only negative i have is that it was very hot which was to be expected but the venue staff was handing out cold water the entire night which was amazing! TL;DR this show was such a good time and i am for sure going next time they are in my city!
I loved every moment of the concert, the venue, the experience, the energy, Cavetown too. I love both bands, i’ve seen Mother Mother before but this was 10x better and with Cavetown who i’ve been dying to see forever. It was worth every penny i spent. Tickets and Merch. 100/100 experience, thank you.
Seeing Mother Mother in person is an experience everyone, fan or not, needs to have at least once in their lifetime. Every member of their band is an incredible performer, passionate about their music, about their fans, and are truly grateful for the success they've built for themselves. You can feel the passion in every note they play and it is hard not to scream your heart out to their lyrics. Not only that, but their audience is as friendly as can be and you feel very safe even within a large crowd. You will have a great time screaming, singing, dancing, and will be all around charmed by watching Mother Mother perform. 12/10 experience!
I am an old listener, I mostly listen to songs and really exposed to it via Tik Tok and instagram reels. I don't really go out nor do I go to concerts. I am a big fan of the major songs that Mother Mother has come out with. I was enamour by the angelic voice of the female lead and enchanted by the energy of the performance. I love the fact that they had another band with them and enjoyed the intro. I like the fact that the attendees were also really respectful and nice as I was expecting to be shoved around. I am looking foward to what the future awaits for both bands and will come see them again the next chance I get. (Also the support members were really energetic and I like the fact that I saw them enjoying themselves as well :) )
I took my teenage daughter to this show not exactly knowing what to expect. I had not been to Waterloo Park in well over a decade, so I had no idea the Moody Amphitheater had been built. The venue was really great and the staff was exceptional! My daughter has a disability and the staff noticed that we were walking up to lawn seating. They intercepted us and allowed us to have ADA seating, which made my daughter's day! ADA seating is very convenient and comfortable. I highly recommend utilizing this option if someone in your party has a disability, even if it's a temporary one. The bands: Meet Me @ the Altar - this one was a "take it or leave it"for me. Pretty good riffs, overall energetic performance and not bad. I wouldn't pay to see just them, but they fit the bill. Cavetown - I can see why this band is popular. Melodic riffs, catchy lyrics and very entertaining. The lead singer was very attentive and involved with the crowd. Someone in the crowd got overheated (it was in the upper 90s during their part of the show) and the lead singer called on security to help them while the band played basic chords to keep the crowd entertained during that event. Very well handled and very classy. I would pay to see this band again. Mother Mother - I had no idea that I knew any Mother Mother tunes until they played a few I knew from satellite radio. Awesome show. I highly recommend checking them out, if you don't know who they are. Very energetic, very involved with the crowd, very grateful to be performing for a crowd and, in general, a great show. I came away a fan. They were the headliner for a reason. Overall, I rated the show 4 stars only because I think there could have been more done to help the crowd stay cool. Totally nothing to do with the bands, just the venue and the time of year. Cooling fans and misters would have gone a LONG WAY towards helping with this. This venue, with cooler weather, would be incredible.
Met them before the show, incredibly sweet people, got a great photo with them. They really know how to put on a show. 10/10 experience.
Of course Mother Mother was amazing, great performance, but it was hard to match their energy because it was extremely hot. A Texan concert in June and no proper shade anywhere. No tents or temporary shade set up, no water mist-ers for people. Tiny cups of water. Someone in the pit had to be carried out because they collapsed. Overall Austin Moody Amphitheater needs to do better about the heat.
First time seeing Mother Mother live and they put on a great show! Went with my daughter (who's also a huge Cavetown fan) to the Austin concert and we loved all three acts. Kudos to Meet Me at the Altar for having the task of opening to a lot of hot exhausted fans who had just arrived and still managed to get everyone pumped and engaged. Would definitely want to see all again. I was expecting an amazing experience and this show exceeded expectations.
Everything was perfect. Security was super helpful from the literal minute we arrived early to the minute we left. I’ve been to quite a few concerts and this was the first one that was so punctual. They opened the gates and had everyone go through security the exact minute they said they would and got us through very quickly. Security also gave us a ton of water and made sure it got to us in the crowd, which doesn’t always happen, which is sad but true. Someone in the crowd also passed out next to me and security got there quickly as well as were very efficient managing the crowd after the show. The bands were also wonderful and had great crowd work and were very interactive and high energy.
I had been waiting to see Mother Mother since I was 12. That was ten years ago. So, I bought the VIP experience. When they say intimate acoustic performance, they mean intimate. You are up close and personal and they are incredibly patient with every question that is given to them. As for the real concert, they know how to play for their audience. They hype up at the right times and sound so incredible. The most fun I’ve ever had at a concert. I’ll be back the next time they’re in town. This was totally worth the wait.
Rare to see a band that is better IRL than recorded, Mother mother on stage was amazing!!! Great show!! Loved every second! They put on a great show, was all about making it a fun experience while putting on a clinic on how to perform! Loved it!
This was probably one of the best shows I’ve EVER seen
They were amazing. It was so much better than I imagined and I already knew it would be good. I’m so overjoyed I finally got to see my favourite band play
I haven't been a long fan of Mother Mother, but hearing them live is an amazing experience. As someone whos been to multiple concerts, you can notice how well they preform and interact with the audience. They are experienced performers and you can feel their energy
Was a fantastic show by all the artists! Mother Mother was exceptional, and will love to go see again some day. Their VIP Q&A and private performance is well worth it, too!
Big thank you to this inspirational band. Their live performance sounded better than the recordings. Amazing stage presence and interactions with crowd. Ryan’s words between tracks help elevate my soul. Amazing the world can enjoy their music on a big stage like Rogers. A must see and listen. THANK YOU MM. My daughter said it was the best night of her life. Thanks for accepting the bracelet gifts she made for you all. Keep working hard and good luck to MM
