The TV commercial is awful. The show is AMAZING. We were a little anxious with the TV ads. The actual show is amazing. Everything you love about Python. It's amazing.

    So.Much.Fun

    by K. M. on 4/14/19Stifel Theatre - St. Louis

If you're even a minor Monty Python fan, this is a must-see. They've taken almost all of the best bits of MP and the Holy Grail and added more music and some unique parts, but it's all got the MP feel. It's hilarious and entertaining. I also really enjoyed seeing the creative ways in which they did the scenery.

    It was ok

by Bonnie on 3/5/19Miller High Life Theatre - Milwaukee

Seeing it before in Chicago on a bigger stage, I wasn't as enthused about the Milwaukee one as I was with Chicago. To me, the cast just didn't seem as energetic nor theatrical like they were in Chicago. I know I shouldn't compare because the market is completely different, but, I wasn't moved by this touring group like I was expecting. Those that were with me enjoyed the show a lot more than I did.

    Such fun!

by S. G. on 3/5/19Miller High Life Theatre - Milwaukee

Great show, full of original Monty Python and topical humor. Songs were fun, cast was great. (I'm amazed at how much the characters look like the originals in the movie!) Best show we've seen in a long time.

I had seen Spamalot 14 years ago in New York with my bff so got Milwaukee tickets for her birthday. I was pleasantly surprised - was cracking up in the first couple minutes and all the way through. Was good to laugh through a whole show!!!

We saw it 10 years ago in New York with David Hyde Pierce.. this show was as good if not better .. my 2 sisters 89 and 81 were with me and we laughed harder than we had for a long time. Would like to know where this troupe travels to next. Hay🤡🤡

We laughed from the very beginning to the very end (actually left singing and dancing a little). Loved it and all the additional funnies that were added. Great show.

I saw this many years ago and was amused to see several changes I had not expected, making it a bit more topical.

    amateur at best

by IamAlyce on 3/14/17McMorran Place Sports and Entertainment Center - Port Huron

We were looking forward to this show as my husband is a big Monty Python fan and he has always wanted to see the production. I should have known when the ticket prices were low that it was amateur at best. The theater was run down but the prices for popcorn, wine, etc were at least cheap. Seats in the theater were sub par and there was worn out carpeting everywhere! The production itself seemed to be a local group?? Some didn't seem to know their lines, some were mouthing the songs and most of the time their voices could not be heard, maybe due to malfunctioning equipment. Most of the cast did not seem to know what they were supposed to do or when and watched others in their troupe, especially the four "dancers" all seemed to be doing something different. I felt like I was at a bad High School musical!! The sets were childish at the least and the troupe blocked the doorways out as we tried to exit the theater where everyone was trying to avoid them!!

    Entertaining

by Shipwreck1 on 3/14/17McMorran Place Sports and Entertainment Center - Port Huron

Albeit a local Troupe, with limited budget, they put forth a memorable performance. Monty Iafrate, as Patsy, was a key performance in a Supporting Role. My minds Eye flashed back to the Great Marty Feldman through his performance. All in all, the energy and effort was commendable. Thank You for time and dedication Lee Perry, Cheryl McCoy, Nate Hamblin, Ernest Werth, Bruce McFadden, Peter an Jordan Frontiero, Marty Garavaglia, G.G. Royce, Nattalie Padilla the Laker Girls,Chorus and the 'unseen' and always under appreciated Crew Members whom are a bigger part then the whole. BRAVO!!!
