About

MOE. IN CONCERT:

When it comes to taking risks on stage, few bands lay it all on the line like beloved jam rockers moe. Whether they're tackling fan favorites like "Plane Crash" or whipping up a creative cover of Paul Simon's "Late in the Evening", moe. remain rigorously dedicated to live improvisation and experimentation, delivering their sets with a sense of humor and showmanship that make them one of the most entertaining acts in the business. Festival favorites who've played Bonnaroo five times and counting, moe. continue to deliver the jams on their fun-filled tours.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Moe. was formed by a group of University of Buffalo students who got together in 1989 to perform at a friend's Halloween party. They continued to play together over the next several years, and in 1992 they released their debut album Fatboy. The band's impressive live shows helped establish them in the New York region, and by the time their 1994 sophomore album Headseed was released the members had all quit their day jobs and relocated to Albany to focus on the project full-time.  The band continued to release solid albums, and by the '00s they were appearing to adoring throngs at Lollapalooza and Bonnaroo, where their 2002 set earned them a Jammy Award (the jam band equivalent of a Grammy). Moe. released their 11th studio album No Guts, No Glory! in 2014, and they continue to create plenty of on-the-fly magic on their unforgettable tours.

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

"This was an incredible performance by a group of extremely talented musicians. They seemed passionate about giving a great show to their fans and played a very long set that never had a dull moment."

"Typical moe., Tons of Energy, Awesome Jams and the Buddha was there with full on horns to compliment the songs.

"moe. never disappoints. Cookin Songs. Heavy Jammin'. This is all you need to know."

  • Great evening with Moe

    by Logy 54 on 10/13/25Brooklyn Bowl - BrooklynRating: 5 out of 5

The second night of Moe at The Brooklyn Bowl in Williamsburg was fantastic! They were in good form, played a nice selection of tunes, were joined by a few guests and just had a great time on stage all night! If you haven’t shared an evening yet of their 35th anniversary tour, I suggest you do as soon as you can.

BAND SOUNDED AMAZING IN THIS BEAUTIFUL NEARLY HUNDRED YEAR OLD VENUE

  • Moe, Moe Moe

by Waterville Bill on 4/21/25State Theatre - PortlandRating: 5 out of 5

Blew the doors off the place, as per usual! This band is non-stop jam! The connection to Maine means we get to enjoy them at a venue like the State Theater - up close and personal! Until next year!

  • Moe was awesome

by Normie on 3/3/25Brooklyn Bowl Philadelphia - PhiladelphiaRating: 3 out of 5

Moe was awesome but the venue was horrible. Horrible venue would avoid unless you are desperate. If you love standing for 5 hours and don’t want to have a beverage or use the bathroom this is the place to be. Loved Moe but not enough to ever go see them or anyone else ever at the Brooklyn Bowl. It’s the worst venue I’ve ever gone to.

  • moe. rocking

Second set in a Rebubula sandwich made my night. So much fun!

  • moe. ROCKED

    by SH2714 on 3/3/25Brooklyn Bowl Philadelphia - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

That was a fantastic show! I was initially surprised that moe. would be playing the Brooklyn Bowl as it is smaller than venues they had previously played when visiting Philly- but I was also excited, because it meant I would be getting much closer to the stage when seeing one of my favorite bands perform! And they absolutely delivered: fantastic show, great venue services, fun fans to interact with, and very easy entry/exit to the concert location.

  • A Fan Fav

    by Wellmont1 on 3/2/25The Wellmont Theater - MontclairRating: 4 out of 5

Moe was great. The fans were predictably enthusiastic. Good sound quality. Great grooves. Blissful melting of Dead, Allmann Brothers. Trippy and fun. Love the percussion with vibes and Marimba. I don’t travel to see them , but when they are in town I won’t miss a show. Reliably good time.

  • Best band in the land!

I love moe. It was great seeing them in a venue so close to me. They rocked the house. Come back to NJ soon moe.!

  • Happily a Moe.ron I Be

by Samo Stevo on 2/10/25The Bellwether - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

Some context, I’ve seen Moe. since 1996 so to say I’m a fan is fair. I’ve seen them whenever I can and I always love their shows. In LA they’ve been at the El Rey, Nokia Live, Teragram and Vegas and obviously way more on East Coast. They still bring the goods and the addition of keys is a great added dynamic that softens up the 3 long necks that hold down center stage. Just get out the door and see some f-ing Moe. You won’t be disappointed and there was a good little crowd with hip, young folks getting down.

  • Face melted.

by Old Moonshirt on 7/22/24The Rose Music Center at The Heights - Huber HeightsRating: 5 out of 5

Both cosmic country and moe brought it. The crowd was really loving both. To come out for an encore with Daniel Donato and moe ending the show with pit moth. Just an amazing show. If either of these guys come anywhere near you. Get a ticket. Take the ride !

  • Great time at the Rose!!

by Brian on 7/22/24The Rose Music Center at The Heights - Huber HeightsRating: 5 out of 5

We had a great time! Was thinking I could come with my trusty Nalgene bottle. But no. Other than that not a single issue. Staff was great and FREE cool out with brats and hotdogs? Shoot!

  • A great night of moe.

  • moe. Just like going home again

by Rubbish on 2/4/24The Observatory North Park - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5

It has been too long, and they did not disappoint. Considering that this was the first show of the tour, it was impressive right out of the gate. Truly worth the 6 plus hours drive. Please come back to Arizona. It has been too long. Thank you for the great time, as always Rubbish

  • moe.st excellent!

by Greece on 1/31/24Neptune Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

I live in Portland and while that show was good (love the Crystal Ballroom) I’ll travel the PNW to see moe. anytime they make it out here. But especially Seattle and the Neptune- love this venue. Love this city. Lotsa love here, I know, but I really mean it. Moe. is on my short list of favorite bands. Great experience as always with a fun tour-ending setlist. My buddy and I, who’ve seen many a moe. show, brought along 2 first timers. They’ll definitely be back with us (hopefully soon) when the band is, hopefully to the Neptune.☮️
