I thought MJ Live yeah right but I love his music and got a special discount on the tickets so why not go. The venue is fantastic (The Fox in Detroit) and the guy doing MJ danced even better than Mike. I was very surprised! He has the moves. At the end of the show he got us standing up and the balcony was shaking!!!
I enjoyed the same show in Vegas almost two years ago. My daughter saw it last November. We were so excited to have it come to Detroit. We had the best seats in the orchestra pit. It was like watching MJ's 30th anniversary show live. The audience went wild. Adults and little children were dressed like MJ. Oh wow, what an experience.
Impersonator didn't sound much like MJ but was a fantastic dancer. The stage looked like a rehearsal stage nothing on it and only 4 backup dancers and 3 band members! Only 1 hr and 10 min long. Started late! Very over priced!!
the dancers and the performer were great, but it was nothing jaw dropping. Show only lasted an hour and I don't think it was worth the price we paid. But it's definitely worth it for cheaper seats if you're in the mood for a short night out.
I really enjoyed the MJ Live Michael Jackson Tribute. The star of the show looked so much like Michael, danced and sang beautifully. Too bad the show was only her for one day.
I liked the show but it was litterly 1 hour long. I have never been to a show that short.
The man who played MJ was spot on! The band did a nice job however the dancers fell flat for my group, they didn't compliment MJ as they should've.
Didn't sound like him at all! And the show was way to short. Felt like they rushed through it.
MJ is not dead, This show keeps his legacy alive. Go see!!!!!
The show was very authentic and he sounded and looked just like MJ. It was very fun and upbeat.

Absolute great performance would definitely see again however was disappointed the show was just over an hour. Great crowd participation.
It was like seeing the real mj and was as close as I will come to that. A bucket list and he was amazing, was a great show and thankful I didn't have to go to Vegas to see such a great show and talent!
This show was way TOO SHORT. Considering we paid $82 (taxes and fees included) for preferred seating, our group was surprised the show only lasted about an hour. Poor Michael did not have much time to change and transition to the next song. It was way too fast and it lost quality star performance. Since the show began at 7 and ended at 8pm I was able to go to the MJ ONE show at the Mandalay Bay, which was $95 and lasted over 2 hours.
Wow!! A definite must see! I grew up watching MJ on MTV... Jalles Franca absolutely captured the essence of MJ... his voice, looks and MOVES! Go! We left this show dancing and singing!!
Couldn't have asked for a better show! MJ Live was awesome, and The Boy Band, who opened the show, was very fun and entertaining too. My only complaint is I feel there was way too much time between when the opening band ended and when MJ Live actually started. I got a little bored sitting there for so long wondering when MJ Live was going to start. That's the only reason I gave a 4* instead of a 5*. But other than that, loved the show and it was worth every penny. Wouldn't hesitate to go see MJ Live again!
Excellent performance. He dances, sings and looks like MJ. I was very pleased.
Didn't know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised at how much the artists rendition of Michael Jackson he perfected. His mannerisms and his singing were great. So glad we took the opportunity to see the show.
Nice show, but it was too short (only ~ an hour). Most of the songs were cut short., only lasting 1-2 minutes each.
last saturday night we took a drive to the rosemont theatre, to see M.J live, started off with a stop at T.GIF on Higgins, had a nice time. there went to see the show , parking was not the best, traffic for the theatre was shard with cars going in the mail, but we got in, the beer wass alittle pricey { 11.50 for a big can of beer }are seats for the show were great, MJ was a great show. the people at the show we nice , all in all a nice night out. getting out of the lot was bad need people there to help and more ways ti exit. rosemont is a nice place to have a nice night out
