About

MJ LIVE is a tribute show to the King of Pop himself, Michael Jackson, presented at Harrah's Las Vegas. Backed by a four-piece live band and eight dancers, a rotating lead for the King of Pop performs many of the late Grammy-winning artist’s greatest hits, including “Don't Stop ’Til You Get Enough,” “Billie Jean,” “Thriller,” “Beat It,” “Bad,” “Smooth Criminal,” and “Black or White,” as well as early Jackson 5 singles like “ABC” and "I Want You Back.” MJ LIVE hits every beat of Jackson’s historic career, with step-for-step choreographed dances, detailed costume and set reconstructions and an audio and visual effects production that echoes the high energy of his heralded live shows. The invincible tribute show first opened on The Strip in 2013 and is currently running at Harrah's Showroom at Harrah's Las Vegas.

by Jla on 9/13/25Rating: 5 out of 5

The music was excellent, including all the main vocals (great show by Santana!) the band, back up singers, etc. Great dance sets! Infectious enthusiasm by “Michael” who is obviously a passionate artist!!! A must-see for any fan of Michael Jackson music! Do not miss this show!

This show was awesome. I wish the show was longer. You just cant get enough of listening to MJ songs. The performer was #1.

  • MJ live was Ok.

by Sandi on 8/25/25Harrah's Showroom at Harrah's Las Vegas - Las VegasRating: 3 out of 5

The show was ok. A lit of talking and filler. When they danced it was good but it wasn't fir a lot of songs. Saw a couple of other MJ shows that I liked better. Also show was short. Most shows are 90 minutes. Thus show was barely 70 minites

  • Amazing

by Pleasantly impressed on 8/24/25Harrah's Showroom at Harrah's Las Vegas - Las VegasRating: 4 out of 5

The show was wonderfully AMAZING ! We really enjoyed ourselves my family and I. His voice was spectacular and his appearance surreal. The entire show was captivating and we were pulled into the performance with him his dancers and musicians, which were wonderful as well. My only suggestion would be MORE dancing MJ love to dance and that was a large part of his performance! Otherwise we will see the show again it was AMAZING!!

  • Awesome! Must see.

by Ejm on 7/31/25Harrah's Showroom at Harrah's Las Vegas - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

To tell you the truth, I had no high expectations. I told my husband it was gonna be a lot of video playing and lip syncing. Not so, what a pleasant and wonderful surprise. The show was sooo out of this world! I grew up listening to MJ and if I didn’t know better the singer really took me back in time. Very good singer! The choreography of the dancers and stage presents of all the dancers were awesome! I told my family and friends if they go to Vegas, they have to see the show.

  • Amazing performance!

by Shannon W on 7/27/25Harrah's Showroom at Harrah's Las Vegas - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

All Michael's best songs are performed, and Jalles Franca impersonation is exceptional. He's got Michael's music, look, and mannerisms to a tee. The supporting band and dancers really add to the show, and everyone engages with the audience, which is a fun surprise! The venue is small, so it feels intimate. Wait staff were accommodating and drinks were a little pricey, but delicious. Be sure to stay for the meet and greet with Jalles after. He takes the time to chat with every fan and take pictures.

  • MJ Tribute

by The show was fantastic on 7/1/25Sandy Amphitheater - SandyRating: 5 out of 5

Ticketmaster would not download on my phone so I could have my entrance info. Even when a volunteer tried to do it at the gate it would not work. She had to call the office to get us admitted.

  • Fun, but disappointing.

by Ferris on 7/1/25Sandy Amphitheater - SandyRating: 3 out of 5

Of all the programs I've seen at Sandy Amphitheatre, this one was the least good. The main singer did a poor M.J. imitation, and his voice was loud and raspy rather than soft and smooth. Plus, he and the other players spent way, way too much time asking the audience to clap and scream. Then, the bit with the kids was fun, but way too long. We still had a fun time, but left a bit early.

  • A show to remember for a life time.

by Winterfrost on 7/1/25Sandy Amphitheater - SandyRating: 5 out of 5

I have been a Michael Jackson fan since I was 5-6 years old, I can safely say I am a devoted Moonwalker. I remember the day he passed away, absolutely devastated! My dream was to see him live in concert and I missed it. This show appeared out of nowhere on one of my socials and I purchased tickets within hours. All I am going to say is Jalles Franca is incredible! If Michael Jackson had a protege it would be Jalles, yes he is that good! What makes Jalles so special is he can sing and dance and move just like Michael but he wasn’t mimicking Michael because you could clearly see and feel Jalles’s heart and soul, how much passion and love he put into his craft. What I saw was something so special that I will never forget, I no longer saw an impersonator I saw Jalles Franca and could feel the spirit of Michael Jackson. What a magical experience. I don’t want to leave any spoilers, if you have the chance to see this concert with Jalles Franca be prepared to go through an amazing experience, this man brought me to tears on several occasions lol. Now that I know who Jalles Franca is….best believe I will be headed to Vegas to see him perform again and again. Hopefully one day I get the chance to personally thank Jalles for his dedication, passion, and for keeping Michael’s legacy alive with such care, respect and genuine love. If he comes back to Utah anytime soon I will be there. Big shout out to his entire crew and band they were phenomenal! CJ (guitarist) you are a spectacular musician and so kind, thank you. Sending Jalles and his entire crew all my love from Utah!!!!

  • Fun but short show and couldn’t see the stage

by Kt on 7/1/25Sandy Amphitheater - SandyRating: 3 out of 5

Fun music talented performers BUT .. They didn’t sing for very long- only 1 1/2 hours, no encore, and spent 20 mins with little kids MJ dance off?!? The stage was all dark and the performers were in dark and the sun was very bright- so most people had a hard time seeing the stage. The performers didn’t sing all the verses to the songs- I thought thriller was way longer than what they did. So Overall fun night with friends but performance was disappointing!

  • MJ show

by Joel on 7/1/25Sandy Amphitheater - SandyRating: 5 out of 5

It was a great show. The performer did an outstanding job. Very interactive with the audience & they loved it. Highly recommend it for any MJ fan or anyone who just would love to see a great performance.

  • MJ live

by Groopie on 7/1/25Sandy Amphitheater - SandyRating: 3 out of 5

The concert was short.1 1/2 hours. He spent too much time asking how we went doing and trying to get us to yell louder. When he was performing, it was very entertaining.

  • Lame

by Not worth it! on 7/1/25Sandy Amphitheater - SandyRating: 1 out of 5

The concert was short and only a couple of full songs. Not what we expected. Also, we were sold a beer right as the concert was ending and then asked to leave shortly afterwards.

  • Fantastic Impersonator!

by Torrito on 7/1/25Sandy Amphitheater - SandyRating: 5 out of 5

We loved the show. It felt like we were watching Michael Jackson. But the show was too short!! Only an hour and a half. That was disappointing. There were some songs that he only sang part of, and I wish he’d done the whole thing. But green sounded great, danced fabulously, and was so energetic!

  • Fun but less than hoped for

by Blaine on 7/1/25Sandy Amphitheater - SandyRating: 3 out of 5

My wife is a major MJ fan so we were super excited for this show. Voice talent was good but a little raspy, maybe an off night. He is known for precision choreography and it wasn't there. There seemed to be more emphasis on being sexy than on dancing. Spent way too long trying to get the crowd excited by asking if they were having fun than giving them something to get excited about. Spent way too long having kids trying to dance like him. Fun for 3 or 4, not for 10-12. Fun to be there once but if they come back I won't go again.
