Minnesota State High School Wrestling Tournament Tickets

This was my first time at the State Wrestling Tourney. I have been to many soccer, basketball and hockey State Tourneys but never wrestling. It's a long drawn out day and you have to attend both sessions which is kind of a scam because you should be able to watch your school wrestle in 1 session each day. It's less time and less money. Now with the girls you could easily add them to the largest class... maybe AAA and A together and AA and Girls together.

I was happy that there were not mask requirements at the venue for the event. What was frustrating was that they only allowed tiny wallets or lanyard wallets. The other frustrating thing was that the only way to pay for food, apparel, etc. was with a credit or debit card. The event did not do a good job of posting these rules prior to the event.

It was hard for a person at the age of 70 to order tickets. I did get tickets but it cost me 34.00 Twice. It would be better if they had a going out path and going in. I did have a awesome time !!!

That video that was played before the finals brought goosebumps. Wish I could see it again. Or get a copy.

Using ticket master was a challenge when it was the only ticket option for State wrestling tournaments this year. My in laws don’t have smart phones and they didn’t come with us to the tournament so we had to schedule a time to meet them with the phone that bought the tickets so they could get into the tournament. Being able to print the tickets would have been a very nice option. We used that option all season with other ticket companies . If the bar code had been scan already it didn’t work anymore so no problem with sharing a ticket because it only works once. Also difficult for friends of mine as they bought the tickets for family members but they didn’t all go to the venue together so again transferring tickets was a nightmare. Didn’t always work and even more difficult if you didnt have an iPhone. Also couldn’t screen shot the ticket which again not a problem to ticket master if the code only works one time. Could be so much more customer friendly.

The ONLY thing missing from this years state tournament was the video packed with photos that usually played as the crowd awaited the championship matches. That is always so fun to watch, they play "pump up" music that just amplifies the emotion from that video. Please bring that back next year!!! I feel many would even purchase it, a great feature!

Staff was very nice and worked with getting 80 year old Grandparents into the event.

The parking lot I prepaid for had issues. I had to buy a spot again , because there was no way to enter the parking slip you sold me. So I paid twice

You get therefor a eight hour event and you cant leave and come back!

Why close The curtains around the stair tops? Would have been nice to stand more at the top if I could still see.

This was out first Mn State wrestling tournament. We had a special guest from Japan with us, he had never been to an American wrestling match. It was just a great and rewarding experience for all of us. Larry

Everything was great! The video prior to start of final round was awesome

I enjoy going to the "X" for the tournament every year. Everything seems to run smooth. The only complaints is the upper level not being open right away for the Saturday morning session and trying to enter for sessions 2,4,and 6. Other than that, it was a great time had by my group.

I love everything about the state wrestling tournament except the outrageous prices.
