So the usbank experience was disappointing. Long queue to get inside. Wouldnt let us go downstairs where there were seats, also couldn’t go upstairs to see better. And then only food was downstairs? How to get there? Huge, huge lines for food b/c only one (well maybe 2 spots but no one really knew where the other was) . Ran out of food in the downstairs spot. I mean surely they’ve had state football games that have had 10000 people before and would be able to plan food accordingly.
Enjoyable. Great sportsmanship. My friends and I will be back.
1. I did not see concessions. 2. We needed to stand in the concourse for an hour before we were allowed to sit down. 3. Were not allowed to watch the game before (and probably after) our game. 4. No programs available (that we could see). 5. Seating area was packed. Why not allow people to sit in other sections?
Took 45 minutes outdoors to get to the door for security. Then another 45 minutes inside to be funneled into a small hallway to get to seats. Missed the first quarter of championship football game. One food vendor open with very, very long lines. US Bank Stadium failed on this event!
Great experience for my kids to see the stadium. There was small issue with parents from previous game using curse words with my kids around asked then to tone it down but got angrier, overall minus that it was good our team didn't win but still good
We attended the Centennial vs Edina game on Friday, November 24. There was only 1 entrance open and it took FOREVER to get in. The line behind us was longer than the line in front of us. Then, once we got in there were no seats available and all the other sections were blocked off. It was very frustrating. People were still flooding in until mid 2nd quarter.
The venue is almost perfect. The only flaw is the time in between games. The time it takes to wait for the previous fans to leave for the next set of fans to enter. The only thing I can think of is to have more time in between games. Also, have the 6A school play after a 9 man game. We were 4A and 6A fans we’re waiting for us to leave. A lot of 6A fans…out the door, a lot. 😳
Stood outside for maybe 20-30 minutes waiting to get into the doors. Only one set of doors was open on that side of the Bank and there were maybe 1,000 people waiting. The process was incredibly slow and frustrating. Ended up missing the whole first quarter due to minimal open doors and security check points. Overall after security it was a great experience along with leaving.
Awesome, best State final ever seen. Both sides gave it their all. Excellent coaching. Fan support unbelievable. Everyone will always remember the final play. The game was that close.
No problems getting in ! What a great game to watch !
Great championship game. Both teams deserved to be there and the players are great. Can't get any closer than one point!
The game itself was fun to watch. Too bad it took forever to get in the building. I heard from staff that they were surprised by the amount of people that showed up. How is that possible? Everyone bought tickets through Ticketmaster so they should have known exactly how many people were coming. Not enough sections where open to sit in and there was only a few concessions stands open.
Why was there only one gate open to get into the stadium for the class 6A prep bowl game at 7pm on Friday, November 24? We waited outside in the cold for 20 - 30 minutes with thousands of others to get through security and ticketing. The concessions line was a ridiculously long wait too. I heard the waiting was an issue at the semifinal game as well the week earlier. The stadium staff should have been better prepared to serve patrons. At least Centennial came out with the win over Edina!
Brutal to arrive and wait one hour in line for entry because they only had two gate doors open for security. Not one to complain but this was really Poor planning.
Great time, even though my team took 2nd in State!
Ridiculous lines to get in. They attempted to funnel everyone through one set of double doors. We got there 40 minutes before game time and didn't sit down until 8 minutes left in the first quarter. the corridors were wall to wall people - 15 people wide - 80 yards long- all trying to get thru 1 door. With absolutely no guidance, no instruction, no signage, no safety measures, ugggh. Disaster waiting to happen. I can't imagine that they can't come up with a better method. If even possible, the food service was worse. 1 concession stand open for 8,000 fans on the home field side. C'mon USBank folks, you can do better.
They had about 2000 fans standing in line (in the cold) for 30 minutes outside after the start of the game. We arrived at 6:45pm and weren't into the stadium until 7:30pm. There weren't enough seats allocated for the teams in the lower bowl and when people tried to sit in the upper section, they kicked them out, so it took another 20 min to find a legit place to sit. Then, the concession lines were too long. People waited for 20+ minutes and then gave up. It was a terrible experience.
Good experience overall. One area that could have used a little improvement was the turnover of crowds between games. Maybe providing a little time at the end of a game, allowing the current spectators to exit before for the crowd of spectators for the next game are to enter. Good job otherwise.
The line to get in and scanned was horrible. Stuck outside for 45 minutes.. missed the first quarter. Would like a refund. The door crew was unorganized, not enough staff. The metal detectors were a joke.. walked on thru and no one stopped anyone. Seriously. You had 1 door for entry. Do better
