It was super easy to buy the ticket and then get into the venue. We parked in a ramp by the Bank that has a skyway and staff were there to scan us in and it was easy peasy after that. And our team won the state championship game so just added icing on the cake.
The overall venue and experience of having the kids play at US Bank Stadium was great. Logistics seemed poorly planned with overlapping games. Thousands of people were stuck in line in the concourse waiting for the previous game to clear and then it was slow getting everyone to their seats. The available concessions were so limited that it took over 30 minutes to get a drink during the game and they started running out of items like popcorn containers during the 4th game of the day. Spacing out games by another 30 minutes and providing additional options for concessions as people are entering or waiting for previous game to clear would improve the experience.
These were some of the very best games that remember.
For some reason, they did not open up overflow seating until after the first quarter. No employee seemed to know what was going on the entire night.
Absolute horrible referees during the state tournament! Kingsland was screwed out of a win because of not one, but multiple horrible calls by the referees. Unacceptable at this level. They should be ashamed of themselves.
An amazing and fun event. The purchase of the tickets was very easy. Redeeming them at the gates was efficient and organized. A truly great experience.
The tournament was ruined by the venue. They had one entrance open to the home side of the stadium. We were there 45 minutes before the scheduled start but the line was so far queued back that we missed the first 5 minutes of the 1st quarter. Forget about getting anything to eat as the lines also was so long that it was pointless. The staff spent more time blocking entrances and exits while playing on their phones than being a host to the event. A great game was ruined by the operations of US Bank Stadium. I guess we should just be grateful that we could use the stadium at all was the attitude.
Getting in was fast and easy. The waiting in line to get to the seating area wasn't too bad. Got a great seat. Leaving was a bit tight, but not bad. PS....took home the Class AAAA Championship!
Great football was played. The high school league needs to give fans some time to get out so the fans for the next game can get into the stadium and sit down. There was a major traffic jam of fans leaving the 2:00 pm game and the 4:00 pm game starting. Just love the experience for the boys to play at US Bank Stadium.
US Bank did a wonderful job coordinating the MSHSL football games! Very family and student friendly.
There is no where to refill water bottles. Instead, I had to pay $13 for 2 bottles. Ridiculous!
After talking with a bunch of people, we all preferred sitting on the visitor side versus the home side. The home side made it feel like you were really split up from everybody. Getting our team in to the stadium was quite a mess. We couldn’t get our seats very quickly as they were trying to get the previous game out but we had such a large crowd we couldn’t get in very quickly. More time between the games would have been appreciated.
The US Bank Stadium was not prepared or not ready to host the Boys HS State Football Championship Game. We waited over 45 minutes to get into the building. They didn't have enough security gates, guards, or ticket takers/scanners. We missed the whole 1st quarter of the game because it took so long to get in. Then there weren't enough open seats for everyone to sit. Finally in the 2nd quarter, the workers opened up more sections for everyone to get a seat. There was only one concessions stand open and we waited over 30 minutes to get food. The whole experience - besides the awesome game - was terrible. I realize that the world is short staffed but this was a terrible experience. Please do better next year!
Arrived at stadium 30 minutes before game time. Took 50 minutes to get into the stadium. Missed the entire 1st quarter. Stadium personnel weren't ready for the size of crowd. Maybe Ticketmaster and the MSHSL, US Bank, should communicate on number of tickets sold for the game. No excuse for this!
We were at the 6A Prep Bowl and while the crowd was into the game the stadium could have done better. There was 1 entrance allowing people into the stadium and the line was extremely long and moving slow. We arrived a few minutes before game time and didn't get into the stadium until mid way through the 2nd quarter. Then we went to to concessions to grab 2 waters. That line was very slow as well and we didn't sit in a seat until there was 1 minute left in the first half. There was no music during downtime, intermissions, etc. I feel like the stadium could have done much better. If you attended the MSHSL hockey tournament at the X last year you would know what I am talking about. They have it figured out there.
Absolutely perfect seats (general admission), the staff and helpers at the stadium were fantastic, and the fans are always the greatest. Although our team lost in the final game, everyone had a very positive and memorable time. The ticket buying process was seamless. One hundred percent positive with all aspects! Thank you! The only glitch was that the Government Center parking would not accept our parking pass...their error...so we ended up paying twice for parking. However, Ticketmaster refunded our on-line parking purchase within a week. Very pleased with Ticketmaster for their rapid response and favorable outcome. In all, it was a wonderful experience for everyone.
Arrived basically right at game time. Appeared to be about 4,000 plus paying fans outside one entry point with no other apparent way in. Waited outside in the cold approximately 30 minutes to get into the game. High school football games are 12 minute quarters, so this kind of delay is unacceptable. Buying tickets in advance, it shouldn’t be a surprise how many fans would attend the game, how much staffing is required to grant fans entrance to the game they paid for attending all of. Game itself was fantastic, so it was about worth paying full price for just over half the game. In the least, MSHSL or those responsible for the delays or understaffing should apologize to those that were kept out of the game they paid to attend.

The best high school stadium in the USA. The stadium is so enjoyable to watch football in and the kids love it. Easy to get around, clean and so much natural light.
The venue was woefully unstaffed at the doors for the final game of the season! It took 45mins waiting in line, in the cold, to finally get in to learn we missed the entire first quarter of game! Was absolutely unacceptable - super disappointed.
